When your team is that much better than the competition during the regular season, you don't necessarily face the sort of mid-season adversity that can bring a team together the way other teams might. 2. Definitely prefer warm weather as a Floridian. Although the rink gets pretty hot during the summers here and the ice is generally pretty bad. 3. 1. Playoff hockey is definitely a different beast. You go from playing San Jose and Chicago to a good team every other day. They're really focusing on his weaknesses and taking advantage of them. I don't think it's as much of a mental issue as it is the way he plays in net. He's typically further back in his crease than most goalies, has a patient playstyle. I think it's backfiring on him because over the course of a 7 game series you're going to face guys who can rip it, especially through screens. Far more vulnerable to deflections as well. 2. I'm gonna go with DC. Not that I don't believe in Prague, I just see the vision for DC to sneak into a wild card this time. 3. Praying the Hawks don't win it and remain at 2nd overall so we can have a chance at 1st next year. Something makes me think Seattle is moving up this time. They're due. Qs: 1. The playoffs are ongoing and Halifax still has some work to do in the finals, but I really need TPE. I have heard from several GMs regarding the upcoming draft, and can't help looking at some of the teams that will potentially draft FM2. For the sake of time, I am only going to pick five teams I believe would be the best fit. Also, I don't care which team drafts me. I'll play for anyone. Halifax 21st I am currently on the 21st and would love to go back. I will say that it sucks to see Rory step down, but I like the players and have enjoyed the LR experience. Las Vegas Aces This would be a great place for me. I like sadie and Big_Dyl. I know there will be elite vibes in that LR. Also a Florida Man in Vegas could be an elite combo. Mississauga Hounds I don't know much about the GM, but the team looks to be pretty good. I wouldn't mind joining the Hounds at all. Philadelphia Reapers I likely would have signed with Philly last season had Halifax management not held me at gunpoint and demanded I join them. Plus, Matty has been good to me in Riga. San Diego Marlins Maybe the most likely team to draft me. It would be cool to reunite with Fish after spending a few seasons together in Seattle. The team looks promising as well.
