D. Wolfe with the hat trick in 10 TOI. Absolutely unreal. Also Killy Foilen with 15 PIM for intent to injure in the first period.
-
The upset is officially out of the cards. I had my broom next to me just in case.
-
Close but try again.

I’m not gonna argue against them because they were my former teammates and they helped me find my way in the league, but they kinda screwed over more people than just Bushito(idk if it matters since I heard he’s stepping down) and Dil. There are ten-ish other people expecting them to be around for the next few seasons. Granted, Calgary wasn’t a great team at the time, but with high-end forwards on the come up and two draft picks in the top four this season, they could’ve been looking to compete in the 2nd or 3rd season. Anyway, I support their decision no matter the circumstance. Just hope something like this never has to happen again.

Damn. My player was actually gonna have a chance to play on the same team as yours .

Omdahl's Potential VHL Draft Destinations: Calgary Wranglers
zepheter replied to zepheter's topic in Archived Media Spots
Right. I was taking into account that they might lose Smith in free agency. And I mean no disrespect to LeBlanc and Palazzo but they haven't been the most consistent earners. That's why I thought they should pick Encarnacion first and at least get a defenseman who will likely be have earned more than one if not both of them by around the time next season starts. Assuming they hold onto Wahl and go for a short term retool, I had them picking another defenseman to have some insurance in case LeBlanc or Palazzo stop earning altogether. Say they can hold onto all of their FAs, I could 100% see them drafting Lahtinen to be their center of the future and then the 2nd pick could go either way. -
Reapers will take the next two. Knight and McGirr are due for a breakout game.
-
You guys might score 25 by the time you’re done with them.
-
Now that looks more like the score we expected...
-
This series could end up being surprisingly close, but I think the Kings will take the next three and eventually win the series.
-
Should be one of the closer series to watch. Both teams could create some noise in the later rounds.
-
Sweep incoming.

Part 2 better come out soon...

Omdahl's Potential VHL Draft Destinations: Calgary Wranglers
zepheter replied to zepheter's topic in Archived Media Spots
I just noticed they have good forwards on the rise in Gunnar, Jubis, Okada, Rice, and Ohradka. I don’t really get why they would need more forwards. Any chance you could explain? -
Yeah forget the upset.
-
Upset incoming... I think not.
-
Seattle only needs one line to get it done eh?
-
2nd claim.

With the S69 regular season's completion and playoffs nearly underway, it's time for some teams to look ahead towards the S70 VHL Draft. This is the first release in a series of articles regarding where Odin Omdahl will go in the upcoming draft. I will be looking at the Calgary Wranglers, D.C. Dragons, Prague Phantoms, HC Davos Dynamo, and New York Americans, analyzing the state of their organizations and how likely they are to select Omdahl on draft day. So, let's get right to it. While they have a few forward prospects in the system, the incoming defensive depth is quite non-existent. It is more than likely a defenseman is taken first and Calgary decides to resign Barabash Jr., one of their top centers. With that being said, Encarnacion is more than what the Wranglers need to lead a rebuild- or quick retool- in the defensive end. That's not to say that Omdahl or Glade Jr. aren't great options as well. Encarnacion is further along in his development, making him the first to be selected this draft. Edwin The Encarnacion #4 CGY Top available: Omdahl, Glade Jr., Lafontaine It is more than improbable that Lahtinen would fall this low. So, that leaves Omdahl, Glade Jr. and Lafontaine as the final three potentially available. The Wranglers have no goaltender in the system, but with Smith possibly walking in free agency and LeBlanc and Palazzo not living up to expectation, you could expect another defenseman to be picked. While Glade Jr. has stronger roots within the VHL, Omdahl has developed more consistently as of late. If in fact this is the deciding factor, Omdahl will be the fourth overall pick. If Calgary chooses to go on a full scale rebuild and trade star goaltender Wahl, you should anticipate Lafontaine's selection at fourth overall. Odin Omdahl Disclaimer Some of the content is opinionated, please do not rip me apart if I make an assumption or any information is incorrect. ~570 words- not including VHL draft board If you would like to have an article similar to this done on your player feel free to send me a message or quote me here.

Until now.

Yeah the problem with being on the outside looking in is that I only see it for what it is. In most cases I don't know all the specifics. Sorry if I made a bad impression on you, I guess that's the risk of making opinionated content.

Hope this doesn't disappoint you too badly. @fever95 Btw the background is you slashing somebody in the face. Figured I'd pay homage to your 156 PIMs this season.

I forgot goalies. Sorry about that. There would definitely be one or two somewhere on this list. I'll just write something about them in another. Sorry again!
