  1. 1. If you're new to the league, are you enjoying it? What do you like and what don't you like? It’s been a lots of fun. I like playing in the top league and competing against the best. 2. Tell us one thing about your team that other players may not know. We are the future champs. 3. Tell us one thing about your player that other players may not know. Going to be a top 5 player from the season 67 draft. 4. Take a look at some other teams' rosters--does your team have a shot to win it all? Not this year. 5. If you were being traded to any other VHL team, but you were able to pick which one, where would you go? I’m not sure I would have a preferred team. 6. If you could be drafted by any VHL team next season, where would you go? i am drafted already.
  2. Rachel Snyder of the Toronto News caught up with Malmo rookie Trevor Van Lagen and asked him about his rookie season and life in Malmo. Rachel: it has been a while since we’ve had you on! How have you been? Van: I’ve been great! Thanks for having me again! Rachel: How has your first season been so far as a rookie in the VHL? Van: It’s been so much fun and I have learned a ton so far! The league is so tough. Rachel: What are your thoughts on your production for the team in your rookie season? Van: I think I’ve been doing well, considering that it’s my first year here after making the jump following just one year in the VHLM. I started out slow but I’ve been consistent for the rest. Rachel: You’ve been getting a ton of penalty killing time this season, which is not something that anyone would have envisioned for you as a player. How does this speak of your improvements on the defensive side of the puck? Van: Honestly I think it speaks more about the depth of our team and our GM’s attempts at getting everyone some ice time. I have definitely improved a lot on the defensive side though as well so I have been embracing this challenge. Rachel: What is your expectations for the rest of the season? Van: I hope I can improve on my production pace and continue to contribute offensively and defensively for our team. This year is about development and getting ready for what I hope is a breakout year for me next season. Rachel: we look forward to continuing to cover your career and hope to catch up with you again sometime! Van: Thanks for having me, Rachel! 294 words.
  3. At least @Bruins10 laughed at all three posts ? I appreciate you making me feel good. That’s what’s most important to me on this site ??
  4. Just triple posted a response to a useless argument... yup, I’ve had too much to drink ?
  5. Based on your posts above, I can see that people taking you serious is the least thing on your mind ?

  8. @Da Trifecta it’s not about whether your opinion is right or wrong... it’s if you come out swinging with a in your face type argument, nobody will take you serious and frankly, even care about your opinion. Wanna say your opinion? Say it. Don’t be in my face because then you’re opinion is irrelevant to me regardless of right or wrong. ?
  9. Sweet thanks! @jack I do have a laptop but just am not usually on it much but I might have to and give that a try ??
  10. @jack Was using a combination of like 5 different apps that all did their own things and using screenshots a lot lol but now I found an app called LightXExpress that does a lot of different things within that app while holding the image quality
  11. @gorlab really appreciate the feedback here! Tbh, I do all my graphic work on my iPhone ? so I don’t have crazy features to work with. That said, you’re point about the render is absolutely spot on. I should have just grabbed a better picture to start with which would have made the cutting of the rendor that much easier as well. When this graphic was complete, something looked missing and all I could think of was that the quality of the main rendor wasn’t high enough.

  13. 1. I lack originality lol 2. Want to create a high scoring, career point per game center 3. Center is the most important position on the team 4. Meh 5. Didn’t know this. That’s awesome! Dudes a beast. 6. No one really.

  15. One thing I have noticed since joining this site is that the seasons fly by and that is a great thing! There are hardly any stretches that drag on. Now already, I am 21 games into my VHL career. My start was underwhelming, going pointless in the first 7 games but I was one of the lowest TPE players in the league, getting minimal ice time so that wasn’t exactly a surprise. Since then, I have scored 5 goals and 5 assists for 10 points in just 14 games. That’s a pace I would like to keep, if not improve on, in the remainder of my rookie season. I’m still getting minimal ice time with almost half of the time I get coming on special teams. I lead my team in penalty killing minutes. I have dished out more hits than I’ve taken. Overall, I’m satisfied with how I’ve started my VHL career. It’s been fun, moderately successful, and my future is bright. 163 words.
