  1. Let me start this team marketing article with two thoughts. 1. I smell a Vancouver Wolves logo overhaul coming in the near future as it was definitely a challenge to work with. At the same time, I think the outcome of my team swag ordeal is alright but I’ll let you decide that for yourself. 2. There is a cute Michael Gary Scott bobblehead (@Motzaburger I hope you approve lol) that I am petitioning the Wolves to turn into a fan giveaway night in one of their upcoming home games. This is shown at the bottom of this page. Now for the swag. I hope you all feel compelled to add these items to your cart and wear the Wolves clothing proudly! I started my design with a team ball cap since every team needs one of these. In the end, I came out with two designs that both worked really well and so I decided to produce both of them. Besides the ball caps, I was looking to diversify the clothing line with some classics as well as some original ideas. This being the third team I have designed swag for, new ideas are always a must. First, let me give you the classics. Here I have a tee shirt and a sweat shirt. The tee shirt is a classic sports tee shirt with a clean two toned look to it. The sweat shirt is a bit more unique but still a sweat shirt is a classic none-the-less. The design features a simple team name writing on the front with a large wolf on the back. The hood is patterned with wolf fur. Lastly, I’ve designed a few collectibles and useful items with team logos and colours on it. The two items I chose were the lunch box / cooler and a coffee mug. As for the potential fan giveaway in Vancouver, here is a Michael Gary Scott bobblehead. Thanks for viewing!

  4. So apparently the VHL is a tough league to play in. Van Lagen knew this coming in but yet had high expectations for himself. He knew he was on the lower end for TPE totals in the VHL and getting playing time might be tough. He believed in his build but he’s on a team full of scorers. He is playing 3rd line minutes, averaging barely 18 minutes per night with a good chunk of that of special teams. He’s playing with two other scorers so no one is on the ice to pass the puck. He’s playing on the wing, away from his natural position. Yet, he’s fired 20 shots on net in 8 games which is just fine. He’s a plus 3 in +/- showing he’s more than just a goal scorer. He registered is first 2 points just recently. He will pick up the slack in due time but until then, let the first few games of his career give him a reality check that it is not easy jumping into the VHL with only one year of VHLM experience. In the weeks ahead, Van Lagen hopes to settle in and find his groove. He doesn’t anticipate waiting too much longer for his first goal. He has faith in his GM that he’ll get some more minutes as he earns the trust of his teammates. His confidence remains high. Above all else, he knows he will put in every bit of effort he needs to be successful. His future is bright and he knows it. 258 words.

  6. Some team swag I’ve been working on for the Halifax 21st. As always, I’m open to suggestions regarding my graphics and future work! I work off of 5/6 iPhone apps to piece together the best graphics I can! The new Halifax logo and colour scheme was amazing to work with!! @Sonnet If any other teams want some swag done, I would love to do it for you!

  8. Following @Sonnet‘s Buffalo Sabres theme. I’m not a pro but I had a lot of fun with this one! I would love to do some for other teams if they want me to!

  11. Is there a way to do a more dynamic depreciation where if an attribute is not “trained” for so many weeks it begins to depreciate? And this would start almost immediately in a players career
