  1. Brendan Marner is looking ahead at the playoffs and with his recent play he is unsure how he will do. He pointed out how he expected to have a breakout season, but instead he had another year of regression in his play. Brendan Marner is looking at what he can do in the playoffs, but he doesn’t know where to improve himself as each time he has attempted to improve, it came with a lack of production and defensive skills. Marner was a 2-way player throughout his career, but with this past season, he only collected 174 hits, that’s down from last season, and down even more from his rookie season. His goals have decreased the past 2 seasons as well as his assists. Marner has not played the way he knows he can, and he is looking to have a comeback season, but it has yet to happen, without finding his stride this season, his hopes for doing well in the playoffs is low. Marner tried to adjust his game to the way some of the top players in the league has done, but it has yet to work, in fact it has decreased his production more. However, saying Marner sucks would not be correct, although he has not produced the way he was expected to, he did produce enough to be the second highest points guy on the team, right behind the GM’s son. The team wasn’t good at producing at all, they have a lot of top talent, but is unable to produce. They obviously took a defensive approach to the season, but that should not take away from your scoring ability when you are in the offensive zone. Regardless for where you stand on the structure of the team, you need to look at how well the team has done, they are 5th in the league and in a good playoff position right now, the team is expected to go on a deeper playoff run than last year when they could not even pass the first round. Brendan Marner is still skeptical about the playoffs and believes the team will need to tighten up offensively to make a good playoff run. Brendan Marner is currently on a mutual option for this upcoming year, and he is aware the team might lose some older experienced players, but he is still looking to stay as he thinks the team is going to be worth staying with as the team will only likely get better. Marner wants to stay for next year regardless of the playoff success, however the team may not have the cap space to hold on to his 5.25-million-dollar contract which makes fans of Marner and Brendan Marner himself very skeptical. Brendan Marner wants to play better; however it is unlikely that will happen on Warsaw as the team is a defensive based team, but if the coach tries new lines, and new strategies next season, there is a chance the 21st overall S80 could get back to his rookie level scoring and potentially show Warsaw and the league his true skills, and hopefully help bring the team to the continental cup.
  2. Well that kind of sucks, Warsaw went from first midway through the season to dropping a little more everyday. Warsaw has a team of great power, they found their stride this season, and quickly lost that stride with some possible internal problems. They had great chemistry throughout the year, their defensive skills were impeccable, but their offense lacked, but that shouldn’t be an issue. Issues should only arise if what was working for a long time stopped working. I think the strategy should’ve changed more for Warsaw in this stretch, if you are losing, take some risks, change things up, and give yourself options in the playoffs. I don’t believe Warsaw was doing enough for the team to be ready for the playoffs considering the constant lack of scoring …I’m looking at you Marner… They needed to find more of a scoring groove with that top line. Although Warsaw dropped from grace a little, they seem to be ready for the playoffs and they said they will tighten up their game for the playoffs.
  3. 1. Trade deadline is coming up. How busy do you think Season 84's trade deadline will be? Should we get involve as well? I honestly dont even know what happened, I guess im answering these a bit late xD 2. We had an amazing 15th birthday for the VHL! How are you spending the extra week plus (15) TPE? I think I spent it on upping my scoring 3. What makes a good team? all round players, defense, and forwards who can do it all, and do it all good. A good goalie helps as well. 4. What does your player do on off days away from the rink? party and drink baby! 5. What city/location would you want to play hockey in (whether it's a rink, pond, indoor/outdoor)? a pond in northern Canada would be pretty cool. 6. What's your player's pump up workout/practice song? Lorna Shore Sun//Eater... How bout dat?
  4. The VHL turned 15 recently, and for that, I want to talk about the past, and how things changed. I wanted to talk about when I first created a player in the VHL, and what has changed to this point. Although I only joined the VHL back in 2019, I think I’ve learned a lot since the beginning of my discovery of this forum. I started off the forum not really collecting anything, I would collect welfare, practice, trivia, and fantasy zones, but that was really all that I knew about. I slowly learned more and more about the forum, but it took until I came back a year later to really get in-depth on this forum. Many new players probably don’t know, but you had to write in a forum category a +4 or +5 for the welfare and then use that as the link for the welfare collecting. The practice was the same way, but you needed to type +1 or +2. This was quite simple, but when comparing that to clicking a couple of buttons, it has been made way easier, and quicker to claim and apply that tpe to your player. Trivia is renewed, but many people on this forum probably remember the old model of collecting trivia, well it didn’t last and seemed a bit tedious. For those of you who don’t know, the previous method was the publisher would have 2 questions on a google doc, and it would be up to you to answer correctly, and if I recall, it was not multiple choice. At some point the commissioners said, “no more trivia.” and canceled trivia for a couple of seasons, and let me tell you, those seasons were a grind trying to collect the 12-capped tpe. Without trivia or a replacement, there were just reviews that could be done to replace the missing 2 tpe. It doesn’t sound too bad, but reading an article, and writing a review about it takes more time than it would to look up who won the victory cup in season 50. They also made a minimum 75-word review for acceptance during the time trivia wasn’t around, and it didn’t come back until just before game reviews were a thing. I remember getting told that the reason was canceled previously was because of all the complaints of poorly written questions, everyone cheating (writing the answers on discord, since it was on google docs, everyone’s questions were the same), and whatever else people complain about. The new trivia became a sensation, and much less work is needed for it, use suggestions put them in a pot, and every question gets randomized, so people do not have the same questions anymore. There are still problems with poorly written questions, but that’s a story for a different day. Although fantasy zones haven’t changed much, they have still changed, where the doc is right on one page on the forum rather than 3 different links. Although these aren’t major changes, and many better changes likely have happened, I didn’t notice it because I was not involved in the forum like I am now. I think these small changes have made this forum take bigger leaps in the right direction, and I hope it continues to improve.
  5. Shower me in gifts! Happy Birthday!
  6. Recap 1: Game 279 Moscow versus DC was a crazy game, 2 of the top 3 teams in the league. Well it was a crazy game for the first 3 minutes until a goal from Duncan Idaho, than Taylor Mourning, than Baxter Arcanum, and finally Corey Kitson. 4 unanswered goals by the Dragons in the first period, but the Menace didnt want to lose that badly so Sergey Preobrazhensky gave them a goal to make it 4-1. Third period showed the Dragons answering for that second period goal with Ronan Lavelle scoring it to make it 1-5. Recap 2: Game 281 Prague versus Vancouver wasnt really an anticipated game, but it was one of the closer games of the night. It started off with Brian Schmigel of the Wolves getting them on the board first 6:10 into the first period than the Phantoms Shane Lazeski answered 20 seconds later tying the game. That wasnt it for the first though, the Wolves were ready to be in the lead so Bob Chicoine scored 8 seconds after Lazeskis goal. Second period saw another back and forth with Kyle Glass scoring at the open of the period putting the Wolves up by 2, but was soon tied by Shane Lazeski (again) than Pistol Pete of the Phantoms. It was looking like it could be an overtime game until Brian Schmigel (agian) scored to finish the game 4-3 for the Wolves.
  7. Warsaw seemed to have been an underrated team this year with some power rankings showing them on the outside looking in. This made the Warsaw team a little upset, and they wanted to prove what they were capable of, so they turned into the first place in the league for a good amount of time. Warsaw will be a top-ranking team as we have been saying, even though some rankings still believe we will drop. Although many people think Warsaw has become a cup contending team, there are still some doubters, and some people who think they will fall from that first-place contention. It will be an interesting season as we go further and further, but with Warsaw wanting to prove the naysayers wrong, I think you can expect Warsaw to be one of the top teams throughout the season, as well as the playoffs. Warsaw has a better team than most, they may not have that veteran player anymore, but the team is mostly in their prime, and looking to win, and this is their shot.
  8. 1. We are half way done S84 and in a good position. How is your player doing with regards to preseason expectations? terrible, I was hoping to have a comeback season with points, but I cant be too upset, we seem to be more defensive, and its working! 2. Who has been your favourite player to play with in the VHL? Kisslinger is always great, in the locker room and the ice, its draft buddy things 3. Which team does your player love to play against the most in the VHL? Seattle, always a good fight, especially when we win 4. We mustered a "Gold" number of shots (79) against Vancouver and still end up losing, tell me what your thoughts are on that game? We didnt play good enough, you can shoot as much as you want, but when you are not in a high danger zone than you wont get those nasty goals 5. NHL free agency began with a bang! What have surprised you so far? How has your favourite team done? Ottawa is looking nasty, and detroit might be a playoff contender as well. Atlantic gonna be a tough division... Go leafs go 6. What day of the week do you normally finish your weekly TPE tasks? lol usually at the end of the week friday-sunday, but im out to a cottage this week, no internet, no service, too much beer...
  9. Warsaw does not seem to have their scoring edge right now, but they have their defensive game down. Obviously, they are fighting for the first-place spot in the league, and had taken it for a little while, but now they are second, on the outside looking in. Warsaw is not too worried right now as they will probably get on another winning streak before the year is up, but the team needs scoring more. If they can keep the defensive game how it is, and bring the offensive game out, they will be champions, but the problem lies with lack of scoring. I don’t think it would be smart to trade for more top players, its hard to break up what’s working, but the strategy might need slight adjustments to help the team slide over the edge. But I’m not the GM for a reason, Dlamb is because he can make a first place team, so I will leave it with his work.
  10. 1. We've had an amazing week of hockey and now we're in first place! What changed that gave us such an impressive offensive and defensive boost? Defensive game has been amazing from the start, the offensive game is just getting more settled, but we still need more scoring help Wumbo out. 2. All of a sudden, the North American conference seem to have a tougher pool than the European conference. Has the European conference gotten weaker this season or is this just a facade? NA had some good players coming up, where as Europe had player to win the cup, I think Europe couldnt resign some players, and the other player got old, so I do think Europe got weaker, but idk lol 3. We've resigned a lot of players and are in a very good position, do we need to bring in another star to bring us over the top? As long as this team can stick together, we can be competitive for more years. 4. What made you choose to resign with Warsaw/ what would help make up your mind to resign with Warsaw? We have a really good team, and I wanted to be on a competitive team. 5. What is your favourite goal song? I dont know, I just know I hate the leafs goal song 6. Did the results of the NHL draft surprise you? Very much I kept screaming WHAT?!? NO WAY!?!
  11. Well, it has been a while since we looked at Brendan Marner and how he's been doing in Warsaw. Obviously, for anyone whos been keeping up to date with this saga, Brendan Marner has been seen in many controversies. He has not gotten much better but went sober for a little while, now things are taking a bit of a turn here in Warsaw, and going back to his old antics. Marner is not a person who cares about his public image, whether it is public intoxication, or he is drugged out of his mind, he will be and always be a public joke. Maybe this is not as true as it once was, in the VHLE he was loved and hated by the public, as Marner could not stay out of trouble. Some fans wanted him to be kicked out of the league altogether, as others hated him and just wanted him to be traded, but there was still a lot of love for Marner. He ended up putting up some good points, and would still get the ovation for helping his team in Rome almost win the cup, it was not a happy ending for those fans. Brendan Marner is now getting into some problems after pushing famous singer Billie Eilish off stage at one of her concerts in Warsaw and finishing the song himself. Many fans started throwing their drinks at Brendan Marner and he responded to the displeasure by doing a screaming solo and shat right towards the crowd. The majority of this crap was spewed over a front couple of rows, and this would include some of the younger children at the concert as well as Billie Eilish herself who was still fighting to crawl back on stage. Police immediately brought Marner off stage to stop the madness, and this hockey celebrity went to jail for the night to wait for his sentencing. The next day, early in the morning Brendan Marner had to go in front of a judge to hear his sentencing, but the judge noticed him saying, “Oh my god, your Brendan Marner, I love you in Warsaw! You need to be back for the game tonight, I don’t care what you did, sign this autograph and you will be freed!” The fans of Eilish were not happy with this sentencing at all, they thought another celebrity was getting away with criminal activity that the rest of the public would not be able to fight for themselves. Brendan Marner's PR team came out with a statement telling the public that he is sorry for his actions and would take full responsibility for damages caused to the signer or any fans who may have been shat on. When this statement came out, there were a lot of mixed responses, with a lot of people saying that it didn’t seem genuine, and he should’ve done time, while others say, it was just a slip-up and he would be back to a good person that everyone wants to believe he is. However, the hockey fans were shocked when Brendan Marner came out of that night’s game saying he doesn’t remember any of that happening and said he would never apologize for something he didn’t do. Although there were countless witnesses and videos online, he still denies the actions he took that day and went so far as saying, “I bet she deserved it, and those fans need to wake up, she sucks.” Heads started turning soon after that response was made public, with many demanding he gets put in prison. Some questions came about when asked why Brendan Marner was even at the concert if he didn’t like Eilish's music, but Marner declined to respond. After this incident, the team questioned why this overpaid player was a nuisance in Warsaw and if there were any ideas to trade him. The management said, “We know, we know, we have been in touch with Brendan, and he said he would try to clean up his act. As for the trade demand by the public, well we don’t have control over that, he is signed to a 1 year no movement clause.” The people in Warsaw were pretty upset by this response, and they made it known with a few protests outside of the arena. The team seemed to be committed to fixing the situation and helping the player back on his feet, even though some fans have pointed out that Marner isn’t even a point a game but is the top-paid player on the team right now. Although there was a petition going around to get Marner off the VHL roster there is a high belief this controversial player will be on the team for the rest of the season. There will be much speculation on what Warsaw does next season as he is on a mutual second-year agreement, and there will be many protesting for his departure, but it will be hard to see this figure go from Warsaw if he helps bring this team far and to a cup. It will be one interesting year for Warsaw, and if Brendan Marner can get through this controversy, will the team be the same? There is not much scoring depth on Warsaw anyways, so there will be questions on whether or not he is the best top winger option, and if Warsaw should look for something new. They seem to have their goals straight, and their goalie playing amazing, there is a good chance Marner will be with the team unless they have another early-round exit. They are playing amazing defensive hockey, and they are one of the top teams in the league right now, so why change this team for a controversy that will probably blow over? Well, we will need to see as we keep looking into this unideal situation for Warsaw, and whether or not he goes to prison, or gets into deeper trouble. Stay tuned for more updates on this Brendan Marner saga. 2 weeks of claim 1000 words
  12. 1. We are 6 - 3 - 0 after the first week of sims, what are your thoughts after the first 9 games? I wasn't too happy back then, but than this week happened 2. How has your player's production been over the first week of S84? My player sucked, basically half a point a game, but now im back to a point a game so... Im happy lol 3. Everyone has found themselves on the score sheet at least a few times so far, and the majority are Plus players, but we're Even in the Goals differential so far, what changes do you feel is necessary for us to start playing to our potential? I dont think anything is needed, maybe a 4th defense, but other than that, was are playing good 4. What is your players pre-game meal/ pre-game ritual? I eat chips and whiskey right before a game, oh yes and come cocaine to hype myself up! 5. What does your player do away from the game during the season? Party and drink baby! 6. Which is your favourite NHL team? Who you think? lol the Leafs silly
  13. The New York Americans are currently with only 8 points in 19 games, showing to be the worst team in the VHL right now. New York would be one of the last teams you might expect to be so low, but looking at their players, it’s a little hard to tell what they are trying to do. While they have an older regressing team, they have some of the best players that are still in the game such as Jerome Reinhart and Sven Eightnine. Other than those 2 players, the rest don’t seem to be as good as they are on the edge of retirement, so the question is, why don’t they trade these top players? Well, Reinhart is the GMs son, but that could not get in the way of business, so it would not be a surprise if one or both of these players end up leaving the Americans by the end of the season as picks and prospects can potentially come back in the return. Other than that, you just need to look at New Yorks Prospect pool and see that they are not shy at picking as many prospects as possible. It seems like New York is a rebuilding team, but I think they should really rebuild and drop those top defencemen.
  14. Well, my last points task couldn’t be less relevant now, with the games played from that time, well Warsaw hasn’t lost. They are currently on an 8-game winning streak and now, they are first in the entire league. This was the expectation from the beginning, but the team couldn’t make it to the place of expectation. Warsaw is now on fire, and the whole team is proving their worth, they are proving to be ready for the playoffs, so the question is will they win it? It's hard to say now but the team is playing like champions this year, so it's hard to say no. Again, we need to talk about Brendan Marner because his performance has actually improved. He went from barely half a point per game to a point per game and is on the up trend. Although Brendan Marner used to be seen as a playmaker in his early years, he has definitely become an offensive force of goals being second on his team for most scoring. Like last season Marner is averaging about a point per game, but his physical game has been taking strides backward, he was confident in his rookie year, breaking one of the top hitters in the VHL, and intimidated his opponents every game. The following year he got a lot of hits, but not nearly where he was in the last season, close to 100 hits down. This season he is on pace for even fewer hits, with only the potential to put up 168 hits. This is concerning for Marner as he wanted to solidify himself as a 2-way player, but his points are dropping every season, and so are his hits. Brendan Marner is expecting to become a 2-way threat, but where he stands now, he will be lucky to be an elite VHL player in the near future. Regardless of Marner not improving the way people expected, the GM for Warsaw, Dlamb, made a team that would be VHL champions, with trades last year, and signings last season. In the current season Dlamb didn’t really sign or trade for new players as the team was already in a good state, the only thing that he did was resign current players in Warsaw to keep the team together. Oh yes, one trade was significant to talk about, and that is proving to be a big part of Warsaw was when Dlamb traded for his son earlier this season. Vasile Lamb is a number 1 caliber winger, but he has been playing second-line minutes as the first line has been pretty well solidified from the previous year. While Kisslinger and Marner are on the same team, it will be pretty hard to break up the dynamic draft duo. All in all, the Warsaw team is looking like one of the best teams in the VHL this year, with 5 UFA on the team, a prospect UFA, and 1 mutual option, Warsaw is on a win now season. The players will be looking to get paid, so what better way than to win the cup?
  15. Warsaw has had 2 more games since the pt that I completed, but it wasn’t where I would’ve expected it to be. Brendan Marner still only has the 3 point that came in 2 of the first 3 games, and Warsaw is back to its unusual on and off streak. Brendan Marner needs to step up that game, and the rest of Warsaw, as they only have 18 goals in the 7 games, that’s comparable to bottom seating teams, and the goals against are tied for the 3rd worst. Yes, I’m being petty as we are 7 games in, however the team did the same thing last season, so I wanted to take this time the point out some of these problems, as well as a massive 8-0 loss against an above average Moscow team. That’s it they are just above average. I think this loss proved that we might not be ready for the cup yet, however we will need to see how the rest of the season goes before we make these damaging statements.
  16. It’s another start to the season and it looks to be a decent beginning for Warsaw, 3 wins and 2 loses in the first 5 games. The current standings show Warsaw Predators tied in 3rd with 5 other teams in the European Division. If you Asked anyone on the team if that’s where they thought they would be, they would say, no, they thought they would be on 4 or 5 wins, but Warsaw is anything but worried, they are just looking forward to the next game. The team may see a big boost as we go through more games, and the gap will likely start to form, and yes Warsaw will be still in the top 3 of Europe. Warsaw’s team is one of the better teams and will probably be on many lists mentioning they will go far. Individual efforts are great, but one player who has not really shown his worth is Brendan Marner, after the huge contract that Marner had just signed, many people expected him to be the best player on the team by far, however he has only 3 points in the 5 games, making him much overrated and overpaid. Brendan Marner will need to step up in a big way for the team if he expects the team to stick behind him. He hasn’t got many minutes, but even in the minutes he has played he’s got some of the worst points per 20 minutes out of anyone on the team. Brendan Marner might expect to be brought down to the 2nd line to see if that gives him the boost of confidence, but it is surprising to say less that this player is not performing after the end to his season last season. Although Warsaw has had some tough matchups, they are still early in the year that they can turn things around. As the Season 83 showed us, the team is not the best at the start of the season, so you might expect some of the same results this year. Even if you wanted a different result for that slow start, in the end, the best thing to hope for is a quicker turn around, and that is exactly what I will predict right now. Warsaw doesn’t have much space to do anything if they wanted to, the most likely scenario would be to get a 4th defence, but that will be hard to find one at 50% retained. An upgrade in net could work too, but it really wouldn’t do much, with Wumbo improving daily. Yes, yes, everyone is talking about Booberry being way to tough, but its hard-to-find goaltenders at that level, he wasn’t drafted 1st overall for nothing. Yes, Warsaw is letting in a few more goals than expected, but the goals for is unexpectedly bad, without help on the offense, defense and goaltending cannot be the problem, with other teams outside of the playoffs getting more goals than Warsaw, there is a clear problem in Warsaw, and they would need to touch that up before the defense, but maybe that’s just me.
  17. 1. S84 HYPE. With the season starting this week, where do you predict we'll end up in the standings come season end? top of the board, we have a top team soooo. 2. I'm not sure about you, but it feels like a long off season even though S83 one was longer. What length of an off season do you feel is best? it was a long offseason because we LOST. But that wont happen again. But I do not care, a week at most. 3. What city do you feel would be a good host for a VHL club? Whitehorse, I like the idea of a northern team 4. We introduced the Hybrid stats building system last season, is there one Hybrid stat that you feel should be different? (ie. DK instead of improving PH and DF, it could be for PH and SC; etc.) I don't know why poke checking increases strength honestly, it should probably increase discipline. I think they need to make leadership, and discipline more used, like adding leadership to passing or something, I don't like how we leave those stats at 40, it just seems useless. 5. Thoughts on the 1 TPE "award" for a player winning a personal award? Stupid, you already got your name in the record books, how about giving the points to the winner of the playoffs, that's a much better accomplishment in the end? 6. NHL draft hype! Upcoming NHL draft does not appear to have a "superstar" but many top end talent in the first round. Who do you feel Montreal will choose 1st Overall in Montreal? I still stand at Shane Wright first overall

  20. Well, it’s a done deal! Brendan Marner signed a 1-year contract with an option to join the next season. This contract was a 5.25-million-dollar contract with a no-movement clause included in the deal, Marner will be an active member of the Warsaw Predators for another season. Marner and Dlamb had been talking a little bit about the contract, but Brendan Marner was really looking to see who would be interested in him in free agency. The pitch Dlamb gave really hit Brendan Marner and he knew he wanted to stay, but the Free agent talks were what he had planned on after the disappointing end of the season. There was not a whole lot of interest on the day teams were allowed to talk to free agents, but there were a few interesting teams and some very interesting pitches. Brendan Marner was looking for a good team that would give him a good chance to get a cup, and him staying in Warsaw is one of the best options he could’ve signed to with the lack of cap space around the league. Now, why did Brendan Marner ask for such a weird number on his contract? Should’ve just gone to 5.5 million dollars, right? Well, Brendan Marner and Dlamb thought there would only be 5.25 million dollars in the cap to resign the Left Winger, but one of the rookies increased from 1.25 million to 1.5 million. Brendan Marner was looking for as much as he could get without impeding with the team’s competitiveness, but in the end, he did just what he wanted to avoid. Sorry to Sock Monkey who was almost a VHLer this season. Brendan Marner negotiated a No Movement Clause as well, which he wanted so he would either stay with the competitive team or have a say of where he wanted to go in the end. The last condition to the contract was a mutual option for Marner to stay next year, Marner reportedly wanted to have the option for himself, but Dlamb insisted that he also wanted some leverage. In the end, Dlamb likely would want Brendan Marner to stay next season anyways, it would give Warsaw a good player to trade if that’s what they want or stay competitive. The only way Warsaw does not sign Marner is if they are tanking for the first overall pick. Although many players need a new contract next season, most of the players have a good connection to the GM and would likely want to stay, even if they don’t, there are a couple of signings that would be likely to happen next off-season making Warsaw more competitive. Warsaw will have a problem next season, but if they are looking to keep the top-end talent in Brendan Marner, it can happen, and from what Marner said, would be likely, he loves the team, the GM, and his linemates. Brendan Marner didn’t seem so happy that his contract ended up impeding the team from bringing up a 4th defenseman, but it would be likely that Warsaw trades for a depth defenseman if that was needed, even at 50% retained, but we will need to see how the season goes first.

  22. Warsaw is looking deadly; with the recent signings and trade it’s becoming a powerhouse that will likely be at the top of the standings. I know I sound like a broken record; I said this last year and there was a rough start, but the new season shows a new team, and a new energy. With the resigning’s and the trade, this team improved, by quite a bit in fact, with the team going into its prime, and the Wilks trade bringing a top tier talent to Warsaw, the team is going to push the barrel. I think the team will need one more defense to really get where they want to be, however, the players on defense don’t seem to care all that much, they want more minute anyways. Warsaw only has 1.25 million$ in cap space to work with, and with a team retaining salary a 4th defense, it can be possible to trade for. It likely won’t be a crazy player, but it would be a good depth piece. Warsaw is a team to win now, they are losing many contracts at the end of the season, and there is a possibility that they go into another rebuild year. All in all, the team is going to be a team to watch this season, the team wants to show what they are worth, and it should be a good year for these players and their chemistry should be strengthened.
