  1. Review: Great job with this one. I like the background you used along with the clean, detailed render. It looks well balanced and looks to have been well thought out. The text is top notch, amazing would be more fitting. The noise really adds to this graphic. I wish more members would think about using noise in their graphics. The background is very neutral and only compliments the render and text, that is a good thing. Being a GM sig, I like the small logo on the shirt, it looks like something a GM would wear. Overall, I am impressed. Very well done! 9/10

    Good looking graphic.
  3. Review: Cool looking graphic with the iconic NY logo always looks good. One of the best team logos to use in my opinion. I like the design of this one for the most part. You have a nicely cut render that has some good detail, especially on the jersey. I think you could have made the logo blend into those folds to make it look a bit more natural. You also missed the opportunity to put a collar logo on him. I like the background, though a bit of blue on one side would have made more sense. Overall, good looking and interesting graphic that took some effort. Great job. 8/10
  4. Another week of the off season. I am not sure why it has to take so long between seasons. Maybe the simmers need some time to rest, I really don't know. Not much seems to have happened this last week, but I am no expert on how the league figures things out. It just gives me more time to earn and improve, win I guess it is a win for the earners. It looks to be a fun bunch of players here in Philly. Great leadership, and really good players to help Finn find his legs. It will be a great season. Speaking about the Reapers, they are well organized and has a really good GM and AGM to make things all work as intended. I see help offered to new players, always good to see. Also, they have a good grasp on the league and when to post tpe opportunities when the league posts them. It's a one stop shop in the locker room. Finn approves of this with his 5 star rating. 6. 1. Finn wakes up and eats a large breakfast. Then he works on some hockey skills and calls it a day. 2. It looks like we have the horsepower to do very well. 3. I don't really have a top song but I do have bands that I like. Anything from Pink Floyd, Ghost and that one guy that raps. 4. Finn is known to be hard worker and easy to coach. 5. I don't like clowns, or puppies. 6. Since I am new, I don't have any idea who is doing what. I will have a good idea once we get the season going. * Stellar job with the pressers*
  7. A great day to be alive

  8. So what was the point of this post? Should I retire?

  10. Review: A work of art. I really enjoy this graphic style. I like the background and how you used it to blend the render into it. The color palette seems to work as intended, very well done. The text is amazing, a design I really haven't seen very often. The faded last name with the bolder first name looks great on it's own, but the script signature on it takes it to the next level. A lot of layer work with this one. The text behind the stick and glove looks really good. A top notch design, one of my favorites so far. 10/10

Review: This is one sexy graphic. You did an amazing job with this design. I really like the color palette you chose to play with, it really works. I looks like you put some time into the logo swap. I like the shadow at the bottom of the logo, just like it should be. Great job. As for the background, it also looks very good. It complements the render and text very well. I am not sure what background edges you are asking about, they look fine to me. One thing I do on most of my graphics is I use the blur tool, very small, and go around the render to get rid of any sharp edges. Overall, this graphic kicks ass. Well done 9/10
  12. Here I sit, waiting to be put on a team. Strange not having a logo to stare at. I know it won't take long before some team feels sorry for Finn and brings him onboard. I need to have some locker room banter to keep the off season from being too boring. I am sure it will work out in the end, and Finn will have a home for a couple of seasons. Finn has been scouted by several teams at least. Something that really didn't happen with Gunner. I met a few really nice members during those interviews, that is good to see. On a side note, I have been highlighted as the “Old Guy” in the league, thanks to some post on the forum. Not sure where that is going but there was no follow up to it. I try to keep my age to myself, but don't have any issues telling someone that asks. I can't turn back time, nor would I want to. I can make players as good as the next person in the league. I think that's all that matters. I really enjoy the league. I will celebrate my 6th year in the league this month. Finn is the 5th player and I hope I he can bring the fun and excitement that my other four players did. Good luck to all, train hard. Word count: 230
  13. 1. Having fun building a player and watching how they perform. 2. There are too many good players out there to name one. 3. Just a lot of training and the joy of playing hockey. 4. "Just like Heaven" 5. I have no idea since my team shit the bed. 6. I would like to see ad free hockey but that doesn't pay the bills

  15. Review: You did some interesting things to this basic stock photo. Your logo swap cut is top notch, very well done. You might want to work with the blend range on that next time to make it look a tad more inline with the rest of the image, but you did really good either way. I like the lens flare, it adds to this graphic in a good way. I like the particle layer, it is just the right size and density to be effective without being a distraction. Of course your text fits this graphic and your style really well. I like how you are showing off your skills. Great job! 9/10
  16. Review: I really like this design. You did a fine job with the cut, along with the logo swap. The motion blur effect looks really good with your heavy texture. I like how the render's face is nice and bright, and a little on the hot side. Makes for a really strong focal point. You text looks simple yet very effective. Nice black backing really makes your text stand out. Not much to complain about with this level of graphic. I guess you could have taken the opportunity to put a collar logo on the render, but that is about all I can see. Great job, good skill display. 9/10
  17. Well it is a sit and wait for the playoffs to end, again. It feels the same no matter what player you have, it is a boring time in the league. I wonder what could make it more fun. Though, Finn is in that showcase gig and doing fairly good for just starting out. He is so fresh, he still has his mother's milk on his lips, that is young. Finn had a short but fun stint with the Las Vegas Aces. He scored a few goals and basically got his feet wet. It was a good run and shows where Finn needs to focus his training. Just about every skill needs to improve, but overall, he is a balanced young lad that so far has been doing the right things. It is also fun being scouted by several teams. I can't remember Gunner being scouted at all, though I don't remember what I just ate for dinner. That's it for the short off season update. Word count: 168

  19. 1. The team that has the most intestinal fortitude will win. 2. Buying the newest version of Simon. 3. I am not in the current draft that I know of. 4. Movies and Black Desert. 5. Kopitar would be my idol. 6. I don't think a shootout is a good idea. It's the whole team playing together that gets it to that point. Let them keep playing.

  21. Review: It is always fun to celebrate during or after a game. This graphic definitely show the electricity in the air after a hard earned shutout. The render looks nice and clean. The logo swap looks believable, though slightly big in my opinion. I like the background but the scaling looks a bit off. Meaning the render looks much too small for the size of the fans in the background. Not a huge issue if you just focus on the main theme of the graphic. The lightning looks really good and overall this graphic is entertaining to look at. Well done. 8/10
  22. Review: Nice design you came up with. I really like the chromatic eyewear. Very clean looking and you didn't need text. A picture is worth 1000 words it seems. Nice logo swap and of course the de-branding is always good. The heavy blur on the background really makes the render pop out. I like the noise along with the blur while leaving the render clean. I think you did a great job with this one. It took some effort and skill to pull this off and you did a fine job of it. 9/10
