Answer 3 get 1 TPE answer 6 get 2 TPE

    1. I know this is not VHL-related but do you have any summer plans?

    2. We have had a few sims, I didn't check them but I will soon, anyway, where do you think we will finish in our conference?

    3. Who do you think will be our best player?

    4. Were you happy to be drafted by San Diego?

    5. I know we have only had 2 sims but are you happy with how the team performed so far?

    6. The final question of this press conference is: how many goals do you think your player will finish with?

    1. nope nothing really, my client is just training

    2. fourth place

    3. hopefully not my client

    4. yes she was but not anymore

    5. no the marlins need a big trade

    6. forty four

  2. Hey again it's Dancalot with another article to get myself more involved with everything, Ashley the yappa (my agent) wanted to fill this in with an array of words and context but I thought it'd be easier coming from the source. What's it about? Well I wanted to make a series in San Diego as the season progresses shouting out some of the Marlins for different kinds of efforts, none of these are ranked, i'll leave that up to the audience!

    Games 1-10
Criteria: Point streaks, second place finishes, most times as team leader (all stats included to the best of my ability)

    Consistent goes to..
Tano gets a VIP pass to any beach concert in the surrounding area!

    Second best goes to..
    Caville wins an underwater adventure!

    Team leader goes to..
Dancalot earns a magazine cover and a golden wall mounted talking fish!

Oh it's me! Yeay!! Obviously with my efforts,

If this starts being a common occurrence..

  3. It's only been six games into the regular season, and the cruising San Diego Marlins have their first disgruntled player. What looked like an awesome spot with plenty of influence to help her grow quickly turned into a master and bait fest for upcomer Meghan, trying each day to participate in chats only to get ignored or talked over like her input didn't matter, mostly crowded by a mascot who might even be the owner of the arena.

"I'm still very new to all this American stuff, but one thing I do know is to never take crap from people who are supposed to be there for you. I feel sorry for my teammates the most. It's hard to create chemistry." said meghan earlier today

you can earn and post, but at the end of the day, it's the manager who wants to be happy, putting aside any efforts to actually get players involved or even find new ones to create more chemistry. we don't know where this is headed, but it's 100% certain Dancalot wants a trade to a new team ASAP and will be taking time away from the locker room until it's official. - ashley the yappa (agent)

    5/5 earned @Mysterious_Fish

  4. I really like the graphic because it's a little different than the regular style you usually see. Another thing I enjoy about the graphic are the small details, signature, background, corners at the top and edges around the player cut. I'm not sure what an alternate assistant captain is, maybe I'm picky but you could leave out the smaller text, maybe even change it to your team name instead. Anyway I'm not very good with graphics myself but after seeing so many, this is definitely top notch! Even if you don't edit.. 8.5/10 🎨

  5. 1. There's no thinking about it, I'm always dancing, whenever a beat comes on my body can't stop moving! Oh, I also read the news it helps me start conversations

    2. Locker rooms can be very fickle with players being on at a different times, for myself it's hard to start a conversations at times when I don't know if I'll get a reply (or waking someone up) but I still do it and check back later. Honestly there's too much pressure on managers and players, shit happens.. it's how you react that makes the difference (oh god, chill Meghan 😋)

    3. Probably Canada, the country seems to be super nice and they have plenty of cultural history to go along with it.. Sure I'd meet tons of interesting folks!

    A. Why did your player start playing hockey?

    B. Does your player have any VHLers they idolise?

    C. What's the first thing you do when you log into your players account?

  6. Hi VHL! My name is Meghan, and today I'm going to be talking about my experiences before the VHLM 94 inaugural draft. It may have been a little different than 90% of the other players because my agent diacope told scouts I wasn't active and my draft position slipped, but I'd wanted to be unique anyway, so no hard feelings; it added to my overall story. Speaking of stories, let's get started!

    May 21, 2:34 p.m.
Sleeping in is awesome, and like any other day, I spent most of my draft in a deep slumber, totally forgetting about phone calls and text messages until I woke up. From what I can remember, my dream went a little like this.

Dancalot makes a move and catches a wild pass!
She skates to the blue line and chucks the puck in!!
Dancalot retrieves the puck and shoo..

And before I could attempt to score an elite dangle move on a future VHLM goaltender that looked like @firekiss, I woke up and my eyes opened wide. "MEGGGGGGGGGG!" screamed my brother. I knew exactly what he was excited for. Instead of wasting time untangling my hair with my hands, my feet took the fast pace. Unfortunately, I stumbled down the stairs in the process, but I was still able to respond with a "LETS GOOOOOOO.

After replying and checking notifications for the next few hours, a realisation came to me: how the heck was I going to get to San Diego in time for training camp? The airport was down for a month, and it's impossible to drive from Ireland to my new home. Unless I used my uncle's rowboat 🤔

    May 28, 10:09 p.m.
Seven nights later, I finally arrived at the marina in top form from all the big waves. The next thing I had to do was enter the arena, in a cute outfit, of course. With the night sky showing and an empty road ahead of me, it was hard to find it at first, but I was there. Meeting my teammates was the next step, and before I could know it, my own nervousness took over. Thinking about myself arriving on time had to get me some brownie points, and it did, but instead of a brownie, it was fish guts. Yeah, oops, I entered a backdoor to a restaurant by accident before actually arriving at my destination 🤮

Now with a glowing sign ahead (hopefully I didn't get sick from the splatter) and fans honking horns, probably because of my soaked hockey gear, I knew the next spot was it. This time I had no extra nerves to vibrate, so I entered the locker room without hesitation. "WELCOME HELLO, HOWDY!" said my teammates. "LETS GOOOO!" responded my manager. After the introductions, I knew I had joined a great group, and thanks to them and their support, I was able to write this.

Stay tuned for my "after" version of this article! Thanks for taking the time to read!! *munching brownie noises*

  7. hiya! it's your host, the background ninja recapper, ready to zap ya, from coast to coast, you can hear this slappa. it's ashley the yappa!! welcome back to another thrilling ride, i.e., recap. today is a little special. we already have a recap posted on our page not long ago, but why not post another? this time it will be a double header!!!
this was our first sim with nine simulations posted, and there were plenty of eye-popping moments, but if we are staying on trend, the most exciting games need to be highlighted more than others. the games we are going to be talking about are 12 and 19.

    Screenshot_20240525_014754_SamsungInternet.jpg.09c0cb7ca131a5b43c9fb1df46d912f3.jpg

starting with a sweet jam of effort, it's the high-power canadians and an overhyped asia battling it out. before we could check the rest of the scoresheet, we knew the game was over after counting five huge goals in the first period, but it wasn't over there.
on the video, getting a little closer to the action, two more goals from the same team help climb their score to seven, easily preparing themselves for a third, scoring from all angles, and piling up 36 shots in the first 40 minutes thanks to an extra effort from alexandros mograine and the canadians, who would end up finishing the game with 8 and 48 team shots.
looking at the other side for asia, thankfully they stayed out of the box and didn't get in their heads this time, or the score would have been larger.
all that would change in the final 20 with a fighting effort from both teams, mostly asia in the end, this time showing exactly why they were selected to play, scoring 2 goals to 1 after letting in 9 straight goals prior.
in conclusion, asia led the game in hits by double and had triple the blocked shots, so it's not the defenders fault, specialty units executed okay, and goaltenders were sharp too. it had to be the forwards. the biggest momentum change we think had to be face-offs, where we saw the canadiens win 19 more draws, ultimately passing and maintaining the puck more to eleviate any problems or chances they could have given to asia for a good majority of the game.

    canada wins 8-2

in the second recap, it's the canadians again, and the world with their third straight most exciting mention.
starting the contest quiet with not many penalties and a lot of back-and-forth battles, the fans definitely witnessed excellent efforts from every line from both teams in the first 16 minutes, but after that and a plug-in from the dj, team worlds taylor swift came to life and scored for her team. with an arena full of joy, the chant continued throughout, and another goal was scored by moth, leading them into the sunset going into the intermission.
world end the first round of the chess match and lead the game 2-0 after the first period, even after going to the box three separate times.
all the mighty cheer we heard from the world fans wouldn't last long in the second though, cancelling out any chances and squaring up the game for themselves this time was the canadians who go on to score four goals, all thanks to a complete collapse on defence from world.
penalties didn't really come into play once again because of the strict coach's, and the period ends with a score of 4-3 for canada.
the lone goal scorer for the world was jon dickins with his second tag on the scoresheet. swift piled up her second as well.
for the canadians the 'zky's led the way with 3 points and had 13 total shots between them, which were fueled by a couple excellent nathan ecker long bombs.

finally now in the third, after a long struggle from falling out of the lead and giving up a horrible penalty in the first minute, team world's olumide anderson strikes back and gets his second tally in the first quarter of the third. on the assist it was elusive piston maicupp who would go on to land a huge hit in the centre ice zone to set up the play for an easy second assist.
penalties again play no part, and most of the period is filled with dump-ins and strategic moves by all-stars until the final minutes, of course, where we saw a pair of bad penalties given out to the canadians. luckily, they were able to stop the barrage and flex their defensive units too, ending the regulation minutes in a complete deadlock with four goals apiece.

now the fun part, overtime, it wasn't as fun as expected with clean play and a one-sided effort from canada after catching the boost from the penalty kill last period, but we did see the goaltender show up for team world on three separate occasions to get us out of our seats, stopping all of them with his pads to keep his team in it for a chance in the shootout, especially since it was their goalies 55th, 56th and 57th total save. during the commercial break, all you could hear was lovstrom! lovstrom! lovstrom! as the excited world audience prepared themselves for a dangleout, knowing they had the better netminder, stopping 18 more shots during the tiresome effort than the other side.

they say get rid of the shootout, but we at this studio love it, and in this memory, both sides gave us something to reroll over and over on our feeds for weeks to come.
starting our lovstrom keeps our hearts beating with a nasty glove hand on canada's matthew highmore, following that world's eugene ryanheart tries a slick move but gets steered aside by toddler bobbly, back again, pointing to the crowd, canada's wayne shotzky races in and scores a floater through the legs, reminiscent of the last move to give his team the lead. bobbly stops another, world misses another, and with a final stop by toddly showing his worth to canada, they end the night with the dubyew in a well-fought battle that could have been won and ran away with by either side a few times.
in conclusion, if the canadians made more opportunities from their draws, they wouldn't have needed extra time, and if the world played a little more cleanly, they would of had more time to score.

    canada wins 5-4

  8. Screenshot_20240524_170324_SamsungInternet.jpg.43f30ac8b8dedeba1e2c56cdf4269129.jpghello and welcome back to another exciting wjc recap.

this game started with plenty of speed and physical play, which led to plenty of chances, penalties, and three different goals with the extra man on the ice in the first 10 minutes of play.

world was the team that scored a few and they had back-to-back goals in just 5 minutes, but directly after that, the momentum totally shifted, with a few world players going to the sin bin, giving asia a two-man advantage.

with the chance to get back in it, asia makes light work of the situation and sends boris bone-breaker out to do some dirty work. it pays off, and asia scores a controversial marker in front of the netminder to bring his team within one.

the momentum shift continued after the previous goal and boosted a winless asia to new heights against world helping them shoot more, hit more, and even find a way to win most of the draws at any of the dots.

thankfully, being a tough club, world were able to weather the storm for 24 minutes, but with 6 left in the second period, it's a surprise tip goal scored by alex ovechkin IIII tying it up and showing hard work pays off.

a few minutes later, the world gets into penalty trouble again and asia coasts into the third.

going into the third period, both squads get a little lazy and take some early trips to the penalty box.

this time, though, players on defence react a little faster than they did at the start of the match, and nothing really happens on the chances.

after that, it's another 14 minutes of grinding and trying to find an opening, but to no avail.

eventually, surprising the fans again, a happy asia levels up one more time and somehow outplays world in the final stretch with more energy than them.

with the advantage and a smell of blood in the water, asia makes light work of the situation for the second time and scores an easy winner on even strength 1:30 into the extra frame after owning the even strength ice one more time before the final buzzer.

    asia wins 3-2

  9. Screenshot_20240523_155522_SamsungInternet.jpg.e67d1111497646d7d99d43d14d289c43.jpg

both of these teams started the tournament hot with plenty of action all around the rink, making this an excellent match to review. in the first, we saw 5 different players enter the box, 3 for world and 2 for usa, but it would be the first few that mattered most for world as they opened the game down a man and gave up another not long after evoraping half an advantage of their own. with the extra chance, usa took the lead in the first 2-1 thanks to a pair of goals scored and assisted by chris reynolds jr. on the powerplay.

In the second, though, the momentum would change as we saw without hesitation the world start the second with a goal just a few minutes in and not long after take the lead with another. after being successful on the advantage, they continued to shoot more and more, eventually drawing another penalty, but it wouldn't go the way they wanted, usa's gul dukat finds a way to score shorthanded and ties the game 3-3 after two, mostly because of a stellar effort in the net by jon webber III who made 36 saves up to the point. two new names entered the box, and two previous offenders took another trip.

now in the third, we get a completely different story, witnessing a usa club walk around and finally find themselves in positions to score, taking any pressure off themselves. on the other end, it was jorgen lovstrom having to work a little more stopping 18 in the period. both teams score a tough angle shot but can't solve anything in the 60 minute frame given and head to overtime. benjamin abenduct gets his third minor, a bot, and another new name warms a spot in the penalty box, bringing the total to nine.

in the overtime period, it was clear both teams weren't prepared for the extra time, and both struggled to get into the opposing team's offensive zone. the only chance we really saw came after a bad penalty by felicia hardy in the middle of the frame, but thanks to solid defence, nothing was left to clean up in the extended time and she didn't have to enter an awkward locker room.

in the shootout, with so many shots, you'd expect the floodgate to finally open, but nope, the goaltenders continued to flash the leather for a few more shots, edging the shooter out of range. in the end, webber makes his 46th and 47th of 51 to win, and on the other side, lovstrom would be the one to finally fumble and lose but added his 45th of 50 making it impossible to blame him for the loss. this game had nine different goal scorers!

    usa wins 5-4

    2. getting back on the ice, it feels like forever since i had a pair of skates on!  can't wait to see my name when they introduce us 🎤

    3. not really. the base i created was to get myself excited (totally different from my others) and teammates will shape the rest of my VHLM build (sort of like ditto)

    4. relieved/happy. my account has some rust i left abandoned and there's plenty of fantasy ahead. sky's the limit!! ⛅

    5. hahahaha this must have been posted before favourite teams were added to our profile page. been cheering for the ottawa senators since 2007-2008

    6. nope. a person from my high school invited me to join an ea simulation league way back in 2009 (the game was older, 2005?). think i've had three breaks over the years averaging a year a peice 🤪

    "learning, adapting, and having patience"

    vanquish* best* 😳

now i feel better 🤪. welcome! welcome!! it's been a common trend for me to rehash something from a previous article, but that's got to stop. i smoked too much, babbled on for nothing, repeated myself last time, and even mispelled some words while writing under pressure. now that's embarrassing (sorry to whomever took the time).
my intention here is to bring something raw, and so far, it's been a struggle. maybe articles aren't for me anymore, or maybe they are (stubborn, i know), and a lot more practice is needed than i had expected. please continue to follow along on my journey as i try to figure out everything i need to learn about writing, one or two steps a week 😂.

anyway that's part of the title, learning. next up is patience, and that's super easy. i'm typing this on a word counter/grammer checker, holding it for next week, hoping to surprise a manager(s) who decided to take a gamble on my intentional inactivity (hehehe), giving myself plenty of clock to look it over before feeling the eyeballs lurking around the corner in a live post. with that, any rush should be dispelled, and hopefully i find a level in the middle sooner than later. making everybody happier, including myself.

when this career is over, i hope to be better at talking with and to people while making sense and creating creative content others can be involved with in the right way. rather than doing these little brain dumps, i hope to write extended pieces explaining my character and try to use my social skills with teammates, press conferences, and comments. echo echo echo 🙃

curious to hear the adapting tidbit? me too 😋. how will my player perform in her first organization? the answer is actually tricky, and it leads me to more questions than answers. how will the locker room turn out? what kinds of builds will my player be playing with? that's just naming a few. either way, it shouldn't matter because my intentions are to fit in, but keeping a keen eye on the rules i already set in place will be the bread and butter if i want it to last. i want it to be the same character adapting to new situations instead of a new one trying harder than needed. this will be the hardest part for me, undoubtedly.

well that's enough of the serious talk. another page written in my speed diary book. here are a few more of my thoughts from the previous week.

game recaps are dope. i never really did many before and opted to do reviews in the past, but the simplicity of it and the endless possibilities make it very easy to come up with something. i'm kind of glad i didn't know who the top poster was and misread the second question about a member being drafted x overall in trivia 😏
also, after some dignified research, the team i'm guessing will draft me is philadelphia. okay it's time to shh! thank you for reading!! see you on the imaginary ice!!! ❄

in this way back flashback fast track we saw the eventual champions in saskatoon take everything away from the hounds after a exciting first half. the story could have been told with the shooting percentages early on as we saw both team easily score 4 goals on 10 total shots giving the goal tenders a hard time but it was the background momentum that would get a even bigger workout. it started with bad penalty and a goal for the wild, then the hounds scored a pair of goals to take the lead after a key timeout by the coach but as the period was about to end.. another goal from the wild, truly making this an exciting game, until the second of course. starting that new period mentioned with no hesitation it's no surprise saskatoon does again early to take the lead but this time instead of a rest they take no prisoners stopping any chances towards their net while also leaking some shots through unexperienced defenders to get some opportunities. on one of those chances with time expiring they score again and oliver loo gets his second of the game.. giving mississauga little hype to get a comeback. in the end during the third nothing much changes, both teams stay close to each other in team stats and loo completes a natural hat trick thanks to his happy linemates.

    saskatoon wins 5-2

in this way back flashback fast track we saw the storm outmuscle the viking by a large margin causing havoc all over the ice. at the end of the match hits were 34-18 for oslo, next to that the work done in the draw department was even more impressive as we saw oslo win 63-43. the stats that were close were shots (OSL 40-39 STK) and block shots (OSL 8-11 STK) but those stats didn't matter much with 7 different players in the penalty box (11 total) as it killed any momentum gained. the player that did matter more than any burst of energy though was jokinenegg, he had 6 shots on net, 6 hits towards the opposition to add to his teams total and eventually scored 2 goals to elevate his team to victory.. thanks to a wonderful day at the dot winning 62% of his draws (34/55) it seemed like the puck didn't want to leave his stick 🏒

    oslo wins 5-3

"committed for all possibilities in every situation"

..time to write something new while i still entail the old, i'll give it a little sprinkle so it can be a story to be told..

starting off fresh a week or so ago it was hard for me to get into a consistent mind frame and ignore the echos of my past creations, especially signing up randomly, but with time being on my side to make a decent enough build before a very close draft and eventual season it's been easy to commit myself to plenty of workouts like this knowing i can make a difference. it's kept me consistent and vanguised any whispers from the lazy side of the dome so that's a plus, the beat part though.. in the process a new picture was formed, creating instant joy and a completely different build once again.. however much i earn in the end.

will my recent dedications create habits or will this be a common occurrence as i continue to try to adapt with an everchanging league? only the hockey gods truly know.. regardless i'm happy with what i came up with and hope it helps the league 😎 ..speaking of adapting to new environments.. what type of team will best fit me? the ones with the correct pick in the VHLM draft 😋 ..it could be anywhere honestly and i wouldn't mind, there's still a ton of room to grow into a great line mate only having the main hockey skills 😉 😉 👊 👊 late pick, early pick, locker room voice or steadily on the ice it should be a fun ride wherever i end up.

    1. How are you enjoying your player’s experience in the VHLM? What positives and negatives have you experienced?

    2. What team do you play for? What is your favourite thing about your team?

    3. If you could add a team to the VHLM, where would this team be located and what would their mascot be?

    4. How is your player’s performance this season? Underperforming to your standards? Over performing?

    5. What team do you want to be drafted to in the VHL? If you don’t have a preference, what would you want your future VHL GM to know about you?

    6. Tell me your dream vacation! I’ve always wanted to visit Hawaii, something an island in the middle of nowhere makes me happy.

    1. i've been taking my time, checking into various content and envisioning my player on the ice, very happy to be back. a positive for me would be being able to socialise even if it's a few interactions, the road is long but it's a start. a negative would be darn Discord letting me join the SBA but not here. i really prepared myself to help out my jst team however i could.. it's my first tournament officially and i actually want to join/stay in the channel this time 🙃

    2. team brigade. it may not be a team with historical indexes being in the jst but our team has some names i know so it should be easy to integrate myself within the group. favorite part has to be ice-time.. plenty of room for me on the wing as of right now 😉

    3. to best fit the vhlm another team in canada would be smart, instead of adding it takeaway an american team. for the mascot definitley a snowy owl! call the team the North Pole nocturnal!! 🦉

    4. because i didn't read through every question and have no performance to draw back on looking towards the future with my attributes now and what may come.. i hope to support my teammates and be consistent, fight hard to keep the puck and keep it far away from the net minder 🔮

    5. honestly I wanna be part of a team that wants and needs my soon to be hall of fame talents, right now since starting over none are on my radar but that bana person is pretty engaging, maybe Seattle could be a destination for me down the road 👀

    6. going to Sweden will always be my dream vacation, it's far away, has luscious deep forests, landscapes and there's boasts plenty of hockey fans willing to help direct me to the nearest arena.. 💅 it!

  17. just another filler article to practice my writing skills.. this time i talk about my reintroduction to the forum.

it's been a little different this time around for me with so many new names in the fray and a rusty mentality but i'm thrilled to be back in a league where i can take my time while earning, come up with a fun build and not be super serious while i connect with other hockey fans like myself who oddly share the same passion for simulation hockey. if it's a remix on an EA sports dream, roleplaying as a real athlete or trying to learn more about the ins and outs of the hockey world it's always a treat to see what people come up with in their respective weekly articles or graphics submissions. in the end, as time picks up and passes by it's a unique experience that can even help you learn a few things about yourself.. a true passionate fan or not.

going back to the start of my article i mentioned things being different, it's nothing major because i'm geared for this stuff but tasks like checking in each day to keep up with the league and expanding my mind to be creative definitely stands out, i struggle with my attention span when reading large texts my eyes often skip lines and i think faster than i type so a lot of times it can be overwhelming, that being said i like the challenge and should only get better in time. right now i'm in a matrix trying to figure out the discord invitation error.. like it's a test from the fabled hockey gods i talked about years ago 😂

looking forward to the infinity and beyond of what could be a two actual year career, little things like seeing how my character plays with skating and puckhandling during the junior showcase tournament is just a start to the adventure and i'm soaking up everything i can, making sure i blend in with the crowd and do it right this time keeps creeping into my mind increasing my awareness.. it's something i never really cared to do in the past but has helped dwindle my screen time and anxiety when waiting for a response in real-time, instead, i used that real time to stay fresh for my next encounter with a wild vhler 🤪

..i know baby steps is the way to go, involving myself with others is how it flow, had a dream of a top-shelf celly woah, time to build up a resume and let my attributes grow.. adding a little uniqueness to the JST show!

    1. What is something you couldn't live without?
    2. What is one thing ritual you do before every game?
    3. What is your favourite pre-game meal?
    4. If you had to play another sport what would you play?
    5. What is your go to shoe when you're relaxing?
    6. If you could put a team anywhere in the world where would it be?

1 definitely music, it helps start my day and always does the trick whenever i'm feeling down

2 i like to sleep in but don't tell my coach, my nerves get the best of me if i try to do anything before action

3 since my nerves are too jumpy before games i tend to feast out like peter pan did in the hook movie 😂

4 i like basketball because its always exciting and is easy to follow

5 slides but usually wear them when i'm outside, a nice breeze is relaxing.. does that count 😝

6 when imagining my first thought goes to a popular city in Africa or somewhere else in Europe, it may take some time to fill up the seats but eventually it could be thriving with fans if the organization is organised and listens to organs oversized.. it's for relaxation, bring your slides 😋

  19. hello wonderful members from all walks of life! for the people that don't know me - hope you are having a great time, to the ones that do - hello again and thanks for staying active and awesome.. 🙂
i know it's been a long time since i made a post on here but I feel like this article is needed to help move forward and shed light on any lingering thoughts, so without making it awkward and using too many what could be useless words for some.. sorry for my bad attitude, nasty comments and selfish decisions among other things i may not have noticed. if that isn't good enough.. please turn it into competitiveness and take it out on me during a game, i'm not here to make anybody feel a certain way and at the end of the day i just want to hype situations, have fun and check in at the right times rather than all the time. there's probably more that could be said but my brain is starting to overlap and i wanted it to be natural, prove it by my actions in the long run by being a good member i know i can be

annnnyway going into this new experience i'm going to do things totally different, starting out fresh like i just jumped on the boat hoping i can help a crew float, taking it one step at a time along the way, according to what the players manuals say. ok that's enough rhyming i'm excited to see what happens, don't mind me i'm only here to tap in and applaud others by clapping..
saving a few words for the action in the backend *board noises* 😎
