Yukon Rush Press Conference 1. The Rush have hired new faces to run the franchise. How do you feel about the New GM signing with @MexicanCow123 at the helm? 2. MexicanCow123 has already started assembling his team with the hiring of @Krice13 as his Assistant GM. Does the hiring of krice13 worry you knowing he has very little GMing experience? 3. The Rush are planning a rebuild starting next season. Does this worry you going into next season knowing the Rush might not be that competitive? 4. With the draft coming up shortly after the playoffs wrap up, what do you think are the Rush’s biggest needs in their lineup? 5. Do you prefer using discord LR or using the forum for team communication? 6. Lastly, who do you think will win the VHLM title this season?

The Mississauga Hounds swept their 1st round playoff series against Ottawa. The Hounds played a flawless first round. Before beginning their next round against the Mexico City Kings the Hounds took some time to celebrate their 1st playoff series win. After the season ended the Hounds got a little crazy going to the Rippers. The team agreed something a little more PG would be in order if they won a playoff round. After winning the team decided on doing a team function at General Manager @GustavMattias’s mountain side cabin. The plan was to do some mountain biking along the beautiful mountain trails and then gather around the fire for some celebratory drinks and laughs. The had a great day on the mountain ripping up trails just like they ripped up the Ottawa Lynx. The fun began when Assistant GM @Berocka showed up with a dozen flats of Bundaberg Ginger Beer. The Hounds spent the rest of the evening drink Australian beer while debating back and forth about whether or not Australia was real. By the end of the night the verdict was in. Australia in fact is not real and the team sent Berocka back to his racist rehab camp to finish his treatment. word count: 204

1. The Hounds had seemingly no trouble getting past Ottawa in round 1, as we pulled off the 4-0 sweep. What stood out to you about that series? 1. Depth players stepping up offensively to make easy work of Ottawa. 2. What do you think happens against Mexico this series? Who wins, and how many games does it take? 2. Hounds win. 4-2 series. 3. Who do we have to watch out for on the Kings' roster? Who will do well against us? 3. Jaxon walker has been producing well offensively. Also Stone Wolski in net. 4. Which Kings player will we shut down, conversely? 4. If we play our game we can shut down the offensive threat of Walker and Nyko. 5. Which Kings player would you match up with in a fight on the ice? Feel free to let the tags fly. 5. Walker because he’s my RW nemesis. Death to Walker. 6. Who will perform the best out of everyone on our team in this series 6. Spyro will be the series MVP.

Claim! Merry Christmas everyone!

1. We've officially finished in second! How happy were you with the regular season as a whole? 1. I was very happy. The team exceeded my original expectations by a long shot. 2. Our most likely course of action in the playoffs (if we win each round) is Ottawa-Mexico-Saskatoon. How confident do you feel about each round? 2. It’s playoff time, I’m never confident. I’m nervous but I do think we have the right squad to get it done. 3. The Hounds saw many records being broken, including points, goals, and assists. Is this due to a thinner league or the cap rising to 250, or would it have happened anyway? 3. I do think it would have happened anyways but I happened so soon because of a bit of both reasons. The cap rising obviously helps with having players in the VHLM being more scored. 4. What do you plan on doing for Christmas (if you celebrate it)? If you don't celebrate Christmas, are you doing anything cool on the 25th anyway? 4. We drove 17 hours to be with family for Christmas! We are going to start with Gibson’s shots in remembrance of a family member who passed and then start opening gifts with the kids. 5. At least one VHLM GM job will be open this coming offseason. Any interest in one day moving up the ladder a bit? 5. Absolutely. I find it difficult to even get a sniff at it but i will for sure apply 6. What are your plans for your player? Going up or stayingdown, or is it still too early to tell? 6. I will be going up as I’m at the cap.

The Mississauga Hounds solidified a franchise season by finishing 2nd overall in the standings behind Saskatoon. To celebrate Captain Kris Rice took his team out on a night at the rippers. The night started out with a bang as the team started off with a few celebratory shots. Reminiscing over the season and enjoying the show on stage the Hounds were feeling good. So good in fact that when the host of the show called someone up on stage for a dance all the hounds threw their hands up to put in their boy @Spyro. Spyro reluctantly walked up on stage with his face more red then a rednecks tan in the middle of August. Three beautiful dancers surrounded Spyro and began putting on a show. Little did Spyro know he was the star!!! The dancers had Spyro swinging on that pole and strutting his stuff for the fans. His Hounds teammates were dying laughing so hard. @Patrik Tallinder ran up and started throwing loonies at him on stage. Ofcourse we are in Canada so we don’t use bills up here. The Hounds woke up the next morning without any memory of what happened the night before. The only person who remembered enough to tell the tale was Cap himself. Word Count: 210
