Content: 2.75/3 - Fun, quick interview between some smoke show and your baller player.  Kept me interested the entire time by shedding light on your success this season, competition with teammates and the Royals.  The piece ended incredibly quickly though (almost a screeching halt), try stretching out the conversation a little more next time.  ~563.

Grammar: 2/2 - Nice job man.

to get use the league = to get used to the league
my game and it's = my game, it's been (run-on sentence, marginal)
head to head = head-to-head (marginal)
    Llyod = Lloyd (I think )

Appearance: 1/1 - Hot chick and USA colors, it could have been 1.5/1.

Harumpf Appears on "To the Point" with Alyonka Larianov

Harumpf seated alongside bombshell Alyonka on her new show airing on VHL Network.

Oskars Harumpf was featured recently on To the Point, which is a show now airing on VHL Network where the incredibly hot Akyonka Larianov candidly interviews VHL and VHLM players. Obviously the players all hope to sleep with her after the show, but for this media spot let's focus on the actual interview.

Alyonka: So Oskars, you've had an incredible season so far with the Bratislava Watchmen, what's been the difference for you this year compared to last?

Harumpf: I think I've had a chance to get use the league and adapt my game and it's made a huge difference. Coming in last season I was a bit shell shocked and it took me a while to feel comfortable. This year I was prepared and was able to work on certain aspects of my game in the off-season so I could find success in the VHLM as a playmaker.

Alyonka: Yeah you're quite the assist machine this season, 74 in 37 games is pretty incredible, did you ever think you'd put up numbers like that?

Harumpf: I'm confident in my ability as a playmaker and I knew I had a chance to do something special this season with Zoidberg on my wing, but I honestly did not expect to be putting up these kind of numbers. Things have just clicked and we're playing some great hockey out there. It's been a lot of fun.

Alyonka: Yes you and Zoidberg have shown incredible chemistry, some people around the league say that you are carrying him, is that true?

Harumpf: Not at all, I mean I am the center so everything goes through me and all he has to really do is shoot the puck off my incredible passes, but without him burying pucks, there's no way I put up the kind of assist totals I have to this point. The guy can flat out wire it, he's a joy to play with. There's no other player in the league I'd rather have on my line. He's a beast.

Alyonka: The two of you are currently in a race for the league lead in points with Jody 3Moons, what are your thoughts on him? Some say he's only up there in scoring because he centers every line for his team.

Harumpf: 3Moons is a great player but in our locker room we refer to him as 4Lines, for obvious reasons (laughs). There's no question he deserves to be in the scoring race but it does help that he plays on every line and averages over 30 minutes a game. He's done awesome though and I look forward to going head to head with him on the ice and on the scoresheet. I know Zoidberg wants to finish ahead of him, I think they're buds off the ice, I'll do my best to help make that happen.

Alyonka: So what about Bratislava, you guys can't seem to catch the Oslo Storm, what do you have to do to pass them in the standings?

Haurmpf: We need to break Christoph Klose's clavicle and maybe run over Llyod Light's foot with a Zamboni, that'll probably do it. (laughs).

Alyonka: (Laughs) you're funny, would you like to go home with me after the show?

    Harumpf: Hell Yeah!

'Thank you' is a phrase that doesn't get said enough in life, and around here. I'd like to thank everyone in the league who have made and continue to make this a successful league.

Sterling and the rest of the B.O.G. - You all have arguably the hardest job in the league, and that is maintaining the league and keeping it in running order. After some recent 'discussion' it came to light that you were looking to make some changes to a system that is outdated and that's always great to hear. I think we all wish there was some more transparency or communication between the B.O.G. and the rest of the league, but we understand at times you want to develop an idea before you share it. I'd like to thank you all for all your hard work helping create a league that is fun and engaging, and I know you invest a lot of time and effort into keeping this league running.

Commishes - Another time consuming and difficult job I'm glad we have some solid members who have stepped into the role of commissioner. A lot of things around the league wouldn't be running as smoothly if you weren't on top of everything you have to do. Not to single out one over the others, but as a newer member my experiences with Victor have always been fantastic and I enjoy how he's always bringing forward new and exciting things to do around the league. Thank you all for your hard work and patience with new members and old members alike.

Simmers - Thanks for updating our players into the sim and making sure we have games to check out almost every day. Simming is the blood of the VHL and you guys make sure it keeps pumping. Thank you.

Magazine Crew - Thanks for all your hard work and creativity that goes into the magazine. I won't lie, I don't read the VHL magazine regularly, but I do keep up with the VHLM version and that's always very well done. I'll continue to promote it in my weekly segment.

Fantasy Zone Managers - You guys give us the chance to earn some TPE and that's always great. I appreciate that you are willing to take the time to put that stuff up and update the winners. Thank you for giving us that to participate in.

Graders - You guys have a hard job that is a part of the backbone of this league as it is a PT-based league, and if PTs don't get graded, the players don't progress and the league falls apart. It's a tedious job and you guys do a great job. Thank you for your time and effort.

Updaters - Being an updater myself, I know how annoying that job can be. It's another tedious job that makes up another part of the backbone of this league. If the PTs that were graded don't get updated, then again no progression and league falls apart. Thank you for your time and effort.

GMs - A job that is taken on purely for the love of taking a team under your wing and trying to mold it into your vision of what a team should be. There's a lot of responsibility and pressure on the GMs around the league to create a winner and a hospitable environment and it's not easy to create both, or even one or the other. Thank you for the work and being available whenever a member of your team needs you.

Gorlab - You know what you did. You don't always do things the most diplomatic way, but you always have a reason for fighting the good fight, and in the end you promoted the need for change. You also put up a lot of points for the Royals, so thanks bro.

Members around the league - Without us, there would be no league. All the hard work and time and effort put in by the positions filled around the league would all be for naught if we weren't occupying the space to breathe life into this league. Thank you all for making the league what it is.

    Thank you all.

What are championship teams defined by? Defense. Not that flashy defenseman that skates circles around everyone and scores but always gets caught out of position, but the one that has the ability to do exactly that while holding up a mean streak. We're talking about one of the best defenseman in the history of the historic franchise the Helsinki Titans. None other than Michael Angelo from the United States of America.   Michael Angelo suited up in a Helsinki Titans jersey an amazing 432 games, that's the 6th most games played by anyone ever in a Titan's jersey. Angelo won a cup in S22 with the club when they clinched the best record of every team and won the Presidents Trophy. Angelo wasn't the biggest goal scorer with only 75 goals but that's understandable considering he was a defenseman, but what was amazing about Angelo was the way he controlled the game with his on-ice vision and racked up 394 assists in his Titans' career and was the only one to get close to 400 and leads the assists franchise record to this day. Michael ended up 7th in Points with 469, not too shabby if you look at how he controlled the game physically finishing Top 5 in hits in franchise history with 875 of them. Michael also leads the team alone in shots blocked over his career.    You could see how Michael was an important part to the Titans' S22 Championship run as he was a pure menance for the opponents night in and night out. The guy could do everything but score goals, but I'm sure if he wanted to, he could accomplish that as well. A truly historic piece of the Titan's even almost 20 seasons from when he announced to come to the VHL and we're still talking about him. There's a reason his jersey still hangs in the Helsinki rafters.

    Tukio:

When you think of the all the great goaltenders throughout Helsinki Titans history, one name stands out as the best to ever put on the Titans jersey. Tuomas Tukio, who played for the Titans from S31-S38 is known as the greatest Helsinki goalie of all time. His pictures are hanging throughout Hartwall Arena and in every one of them he’s making a ridiculous save. The pride Tukio felt as a Finnish net minder playing for his home country was evident every time he took the ice. Tukio was truly a special talent, the likes of which the Titans may never see again.

He holds the record for most Wins in Titans history with 266 and is #1 in shutouts with 36. His career goals against average is unreal at 2.08 in 406 games played and his save percentage is one o f the highest in team history at an incredible .922%. To think that Tukio saved 92% of the shots he faces in his long Titans career really puts things in perspective. His ability to steal games was also remarkable and the Titans knew they could always count on him in pressure situations. His poise and calmness in the net was also one of his strengths as he never seem to get rattled even in the biggest games of his career. Tukio’s numbers speak for themselves, but it was the intangibles that really separate him from the rest of the Titans net minders. Without question Tukio is the greatest Titans goalie of all time.
