Goodbye Royals, Hello Opportunity
As the trade deadline has come and gone, we saw the Bern Royals make two very high profile trades, unloading two of their star players, Jaime Hill and Jody 3 Moons. In return for the two, the Royals received Oslo's 3rd round pick in season 41 and their 2nd and 3rd round picks in season 42, and a first round pick in season 41 from Bratislava respectively. While this initially was seen as a drastic move by some in the league, as well as causing issues with 3 Moons due to administrative issues preventing him from playing four games, the uproar has largely died down. Bern General Manager Jaladolar has unfortunately faced some criticism because of these moves, both from 3 Moons and from others in the league who feel that he did not receive as fair of a return for Hill as he did for 3 Moons, while others have praised the trades as completely beneficial for all teams involved. We decided to speak with one of the players affected most by the trades now that emotions have cooled to get her thoughts on the trades, and the future of her career.
