  1. I actually quite believe that...you're a goon. Shoulda named your player John Scott, cuz you got no place here.
  2. The ricebowl part was completely my idea cuz I wanted it for my gamertag, but my brother always has to be a part of everything...so he told me to change it to r1c3bowl. And 22 is my favourite number so... So ya, if someone else uses r1c3, I'll be upset
  3. Who else would it be? If someone else ever used my r1c3 name, I'd actually be quite upset...
  4. Before you read anything else, this is a complaint. I'm not perfect. I make mistakes. I sometimes make outbursts when I really shouldn't and I, more often than not, say things I really shouldn't say. Excel can vouch for that...or did he change his username? Whomever my updater is. However, that being said. I find the maturity level on this site to be disgusting. This is a nice place to hang out, and interact with people. I'm here because I think it's a fun place to be. But there are so many people here that just give this place such a bitter image. Banning people for garbage reasons, like honestly, I read through that thread, and it made me wanna leave this site forever. Please get it together and, maybe one day, you can have VHLM teams that don't only have one person who's active. Maybe one day people will come here and want to stay. I'm just saying, this site makes it really hard for me to want to stay.

  6. ...and with this, the people of Moscow rejoiced.
  7. Am I the only Chelsea supporter that actually liked Fernando Torres? I'm still kinda sad he got loaned out, and I'm mad that his first goal for Milan was as nice as it was.
  8. I didn't know this thread existed...go Blues!!!
  9. At the end of the last season, Samuelsson was noticeably shaken about his inability to play at a high level. The Red Wolves rookie came to the team with high expectations and failed to be a positive impact in the lineup. In his nineteen games played, he put up four points (one goal and three assists) and was a very disappointing minus twenty. This season, he has put up seven points (one goal and six assists) in his seven games played, and is sitting at plus one. He is also leading the Red Wolves in hits, with twenty-six, and shots blocked, with fifteen. His twenty-six hits are good enough for third in the VHLM. So far, he's showing that he was serious about getting better this season. We asked Samuelsson what he thinks of his play so far, and if he did anything different during the off-season, in preparation of S40. "I think I'm doing well. I could be better, I love leading my team in points and in plus minus. I'm glad that, defensively I've gotten better. I'm leading the team in hits and shots blocked, which I take a lot of pride in. I really hope to be a leader on this team. I want to be someone the players, coaches, and fans rely on. As for the off-season, I don't think I did anything different. The only change I really made was my mindset. I came into camp with something to prove, and right now...I'm doing a good job of that, I believe. I certainly still have a long way to go, but I'm glad that I've been getting noticed." Samuelsson has definitely been getting noticed, as there are rumblings around Moscow that he could be the captain, for S40. It hasn't been a secret that the Red Wolves management are very much behind the player, as they traded up for him in the S40 VHLM Dispersal Draft. "I don't know too much," Samuelsson indicated "but if I am named captain, of Moscow, I would wear it with pride. It would give validation to everything I've tried, and everything I hope to do. I hope that that honour will enable myself to be thrown into the attention of many VHL general managers." Borje Samuelsson's childhood friend and SHL prospect, Jed Lloren, also made himself available for comments. "I haven't seen much of Borje's play, because I've been busy with West Kendall, in the SHL. But, I've kept in contact with him, of course, and I can tell that he's back on his game. Soon, he's going to be the top prospect in the VHLM and every general manager in the VHLM are gonna be kicking themselves for letting him get picked up in the second round by Moscow." Such high praise for someone who's barely seen twenty games of VHLM action. It will be very interesting to see if Samuelsson can step his game up even more. He should feel some assurance as certain VHL general managers have made contact with him, in hopes of landing the big Swede onto their club. Until then, it's up to Borje to continue to make a name for himself.
  10. THIS IS BOJO?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
  11. I joined like beginning of last month, I think...near the end of the reg. season.
  12. I've only gotten one PM from an updater....about my updates. That's it.
  13. I only know about it cuz I was creeping Kit's update thread...
  14. Can someone send me the survey? I wanna do it...
  15. The member gets 5 TPE for filling out the survey? I feel like that's a bit much, considering not all new members will have the opportunity to do it. Some are surely going to be missed/forgotten.
  16. Borje Samuelsson was supposed to be the next big thing. He entered the VHLM with high expectations, after excelling in every league he had previously played. Unfortunately, he did not experience the type of season he would've hoped to have. In nineteen games, the puck moving defenceman had managed to find himself on the score sheet four times, with one of those points being a goal. Samuelsson was heard saying this, after the Red Wolves' final game of the season. "I'm really disappointed in myself. I thought I had what it takes to be an elite player in the VHLM. Maybe I'm mistaken. I should probably go back home and rethink my career, here." There is one group who never gave up on the youngster, however. The Red Wolves. The team continued to give Samuelsson time on the ice in many different situations, and he seemed to improve in every game he played. Although Samuelsson did not register a point, in the Red Wolves' series loss this past playoffs, he did post a respectable plus minus, clocking in at a plus-two. That stat is a tremendous improvement over his minus-twenty from the regular season. "Borje's really tried hard to improve himself," a teammate said, "He's always working on his game. Everyday, he's the last person off the ice. You can just tell that he wants to be a household name. I think he's going to take his skills to the next level once he hits the VHL ice." Even with the high praise from his team, Samuelsson has been hit with heavy criticism for his actions off the ice. "Really? I'm a teenaager, and people are getting on my back for me wanting to have fun. Yes, I have a job to do in the sense that I should practice everyday. Whatever, when I'm the best player in the VHL, I'll remember these days." The Red Wolves management seem to believe Samuelsson's remarks. As they traded for the big Swede in the S40 VHLM Dispersal Draft. The team chose him with confidence in the second round, thirteenth overall, while passing over some big names. Samuelsson, unfortunately, was unable to attend the draft, due to personal reasons, but sent this statement in regards to tonight's events. "I'm really happy that I'm going to be able to continue my career in Moscow. I really enjoyed my time there, last season, and I knew that the team had high hopes for me. It really shouldn't be a surprise, but it's a really nice feeling to know they're behind me." With the backing that Moscow has shown the young player, and the commitment he continues to show toward improving, it really is impossible to determine how high he will fly. His potential is sky high right now, and Moscow is really hoping that their gamble pays off. Scouts everywhere should keep an eye on this kid. Samuelsson's stats from his rookie season. 17. Just realized I wasn't signed in when I posted that....
  18. Borje Samuelsson had just joined the Moscow Red Wolves for practice. It was his first practice with the team since his signing. "I really enjoyed me time on the ice with them! It's such a great atmosphere, it really helps that my friend Mario de Rossi is on the team. I knew I wanted to play in the VHLM, but having him here, really sold the team to me," Samuelsson exclaimed, "I really like this city, the scenery is really nice, and there are babes all around...just waiting for me! I never wanna leave!" Borje Samuelsson has been quite the signing, he is a highly touted prospect, after signing from the WHL in Canada. At the tender age of eighteen, Samuelsson has already experienced the life of a superstar and has learned how to accommodate all his commitments. "I love to party, man, I'm drunk doing this interview right now. I think it's alright for players to drink. They just gotta make sure it doesn't affect them out on the ice." After three games this season, Samuelsson has not managed to register a point for the Red Wolves. Additionally, he is currently a minus one, in the plus minus statistic. "I'm just getting acclimated to the league, now. But once I'm comfortable, the league better watch out, cuz I got skill to burn. I think I can become a solid draft pick in next season's VHL draft. I'm looking forward to see which farm teams gain interest from me in the short time that I'm here." As previously stated, Samuelsson joined the team with his dear friend Mario de Rossi. "Yeah, Mario and I grew up together. I lived in Sweden, but we were kinda like pen pals, so we wrote a lot to each other. We also have friends in the SHL, right now. Jed Lloren and Friedrich Muller. The four of us really know each other and I think that even though we play in different leagues, we'll still keep touch with each other.: Samuelsson has showed great interest in becoming a VHL vet. "I think I have what it takes to become a VHL hall of famer. I know this league has a storied history, and I respect that. But, I do think I will be one of the better players this league has ever seen. I don't wanna play in any other league. The SHL is not a future destination of mine. I'm here to stay, and I'm here to win. So bring on the Cups!!" Scouts have revered this player's relentlessness for success. He truly is a player to watch in this season's conclusion; as the Red Wolves try to capture the title. He will also be a pivotal player for whatever team decides to draft him in the S40 VHLM draft. "Whoever drafts me is going to get a dedicated defender, one who won't stop until the job is done. What job is that? To win the Cup. I wanna be a champion, and nothing is going to stop me."
