SBA +6 Last Week

Pengu of the Riga Reign reporting in with nothing but frustration and awe at the game. The guilty ridden forward looks at his performance and shakes his head. "Why do I take so many shots?!" exclaimed Pengu, "And why do none of them make it in?!" Bewildered, confused, and lost little penguin Pengu is unsure why he can't support the Reign like they did when they won the cup last season. It's been nothing but heartache. I want to help my team, and I'm unsure why I can't get into the zone! I create, I defend, and when I think it's time to make a shot... I miss. Obviously, no player wants to go through this and Pengu is still relatively finding his flippers. The only thing this young'un can do is just wait. Time will heal all wounds. Time will get Pengu the experience he needs at his new role. Patience is key and Pengu will learn this... in time.

Pengu is a champion level forward. He may not have been in the starting line with a lot of minutes, but every time he got on the ice he performed. The clutch factor was real as he'd come in for a crucial part of the game and helped Riga find their way to the top! Super happy at Riga, he now is on the starting line as a winger. Pengu hasn't found his groundings yet with few goals to his name this season but he isn't worried. Pengu's new training regime will take a different direction from defense and play making into individual ability and skill, as well as scoring. Only time will tell if Pengu can actually rise up to the occasion or he'll just be a dud, but my bet's going to be on him being absolutely amazing. Or at least, a valiant effort. You never know in the world of VHL!
