1) Too cold. Feels like -13C right now. Although they say it is going up to 5C today, so that would be a nice change from this long winter. 2) Barbecue Chicken pizza. 3) I'm not invested in any one team at this stage so I am not disappointed at all. 1) What's the best book you've read recently, and why did you enjoy it? 2) Do you have any travel plans for the near future? If so, where are you headed? 3) What's a new skill or hobby you've recently picked up, and why did you decide to learn it?

(Intro music plays as the camera pans over to the interviewer sitting at a desk.) Interviewer: "Welcome back to our sports segment. Today, we have a special guest joining us - Montgomery Burns, the rising star in VHLM hockey. Thanks for joining us today, Montgomery." Montgomery: "Thanks for having me. It's great to be here." Interviewer: "So, Montgomery, we've heard that you've been training extensively for the upcoming VHLM season. Can you tell us a bit about your training routine?" Montgomery: "Sure thing. I've been focusing on both my physical and mental game. On the physical side, I've been hitting the gym hard, working on my strength and conditioning. I've also been practicing my skating and shooting skills every day. And on the mental side, I've been working with a sports psychologist to help me stay focused and confident on the ice." Interviewer: "That's impressive. And how has that training been going so far?" Montgomery: "It's been going great. I feel like I'm in the best shape of my life, and I'm seeing improvements in my skills every day. I'm excited to see how it all pays off in the upcoming season." Interviewer: "Speaking of the upcoming season, what are your goals for this year?" Montgomery: "My main goal is to help my team win as many games as possible. I want to be a team player and do whatever it takes to help us succeed. And of course, I'm also hoping to catch the eye of some VHLM scouts and get drafted by a team." Interviewer: "Ah yes, the draft. How do you feel about the possibility of being drafted into the VHLM?" Montgomery: "I'm really excited about it. It's been my dream to play professional hockey since I was a kid, and being drafted into the VHLM would be a huge step towards that goal. I'm just going to keep working hard and hopefully, it will all pay off." Interviewer: "That's a great attitude to have. And speaking of your childhood, can you tell us a bit about how you got into hockey in the first place?" Montgomery: "Sure. I grew up in a small town in Canada where hockey was a way of life. My dad was a big hockey fan, and he got me into it when I was just a little kid. I started playing in local leagues and just fell in love with the sport. And now, here I am." Interviewer: "Well, it's clear that all that hard work and dedication has paid off. Thanks so much for joining us today, Montgomery. We wish you all the best for the upcoming season and the draft." Montgomery: "Thank you so much for having me. It's been a pleasure." (Cut to the outro music as the camera fades to black.) Montgomery Burns is a dedicated hockey prospect with a strong training routine focused on both physical and mental aspects of the game. He is looking forward to being drafted into the VHLM and is focused on helping his team win games in the upcoming season. With his hard work and determination, it's clear that Montgomery is on track to achieve his dream of playing professional hockey.

Answers 1) I listen to most of the local sports market podcasts. Leafs & Blue Jays related especially. I'll also listen to audiobooks if a topic is interesting enough to me. 2) New York Rangers had the best trade deadline. Their big acquisitions were Patrick Kane and Vladimir Tarasenko. Both great scorers even if they are a little past their prime. The Leafs did pretty well, too. 3) I'm not on a team yet so a real answer is tough but I'll go with the arrogant answer. We'll be #1!!!! Next Questions 1) What's the most interesting book you've read recently and why did you find it so compelling? 2) If you could travel back in time to any period in history, when and where would you go and what would you do there? 3) What's the best piece of advice you've ever received and how has it impacted your life?

The Mexico City Kings have triumphed over the Las Vegas Aces 4-1 in the first round of the playoffs. This marks the first time under GM Coleh's leadership that the Kings have emerged victorious against the Aces in a playoff series. Although their next opponent is yet to be determined, it will be either the Houston Bulls or the San Diego Marlins in what should be a star studded matchup with high stakes. The Kings have been unable to progress beyond the second round under Coleh's direction in the past. However, this season may prove to be different as they secured the first seed in the regular season and appear to be an unstoppable force. The team is loaded with talent and is poised to bring the championship trophy back to Mexico City. Justin Williams is leading the playoff charge, with 4 goals, 8 assists, 12 points, and a +7. Overall, the Kings are a deep team this season, and the victory against the Aces has given them a significant confidence boost. With their sights set on the championship, the Kings are ready to take on any challenge that comes their way. The question is, how will they perform the brightest lights in the sport are shined on them?

1) I am thoroughly enjoying my experience as a player in the VHLM. The positives have been that I will be able to play at a highly competitive level and develop my skills as a hockey player. The negative has been the pressure to perform at my best every game, which can be overwhelming at times. And with the goal of making the VHL, you can't have too many off nights. 2) I hope to play for the Mexico City Kings, and my favorite thing about the team is their winning mentality. They are a team that is focused on winning and always strive to be the best. It is a great environment for a competitive player like myself. One day, I hope a team just like them drafts me. 3) If I could add a team to the VHLM, I would locate them in Toronto, Ontario and have their mascot be a bottle of maple syrup. Toronto is a great city with a diverse population, and the maple syrup represents one of the country's biggest exports. 4) My performance this season has been good on my childhood team, but I always strive to do better. I am constantly pushing myself to improve and reach my full potential as a hockey player. That can be most challenging when playing through injuries but I have been able to get it done. 5) I am focused on doing my best and helping my team win games. If I were to be drafted into the VHL some day, I would want my future GM to know that I am a team player who is willing to do whatever it takes to win. I am also willing to work hard to continue to develop my skills and become an even better player. 6) My dream vacation would be to visit the French Riviera. I love the sun, the beaches, and the culture of the region. It would be a great opportunity to relax and enjoy some of the finer things in life. And the women aren't too shabby to look at either.

Following Monty's debut press conference, there was a significant buzz among fans and analysts alike. Some were intrigued by Monty's physical presence on the ice and wondered how he would fare against more skilled players in the VHML. Others were impressed by his humility and eagerness to learn and improve, recognizing that these traits would be crucial for a rookie trying to make it in the league. Another member, @JCarson wrote about the published article from the press conference and also had high praise: In the weeks leading up to the start of the next VHLM season, Monty has worked tirelessly with his old team to stay in shape, honing his technical abilities and learning the nuances of the VHML game. He quickly earned the respect of his teammates with his work ethic and positive attitude, and it wasn't long before he was named a starter for the team's first game. He'll stay with his team until he is drafted. The game was a close affair, with both teams exchanging blows throughout the first two periods. Monty played a physical game, throwing his weight around and making life difficult for the opposing team's top players. However, he also showed flashes of skill and finesse, making a few key passes and setting up some scoring opportunities for his team. In the third period, with the score tied at two apiece, Monty seized the moment. He collected a loose puck in the defensive zone, burst past two defenders, and fired a shot past the goalie, putting his team ahead for the first time in the game. The crowd erupted in cheers as Monty's teammates mobbed him in celebration. The rest of the game was a tense affair, with both teams fighting tooth and nail to secure the victory. In the end, Monty's team held on for a hard-fought 3-2 win, with Monty being named the game's MVP for his clutch goal and dominant physical play. In the post-game press conference, Monty was once again humble and gracious, deflecting praise towards his teammates and coaches. However, there was no denying the impact he had on the game, and fans and analysts were quick to sing his praises. He showed he is ready for the next level. Over the course of last season, Monty continued to prove himself as a valuable asset for his team. He scored goals, laid out bone-crushing hits, and played a key role in the team's run to the playoffs. He was the main driver of the teams championship aspirations and Monty had shown that he belonged in the VHLM, and that he had the potential to be a dominant force in the league for years to come. When Monty's last full season with his childhood team came to a close, Monty reflected on his journey. He had gone from being a nervous rookie with something to prove to a respected veteran who had earned the trust and admiration of his teammates and opponents alike. He knew that there would be more challenges ahead, but he was ready for them. After all, he had proven that he had what it takes to succeed at all levels to date and could not wait to get started in the VHLM.

In the penultimate VHL game between the Helsinki Titans and the Seattle Bears, the Titans won 2-0. In the first period, the Titans scored two goals, one by Nic McMuffin and another by Juice Box on the power play. The second period was goalless, and neither team managed to score in the third period. The Titans had 28 shots, and the Bears had 33, but the Titans' goalie Ben Dahl stopped all 33 shots, earning a shutout. The Titans' record is now an awful 13-48-11, and the Bears' record is 33-31-8.

This may be in the wrong spot? But oh well. On March 1, 2023, the Calgary Wranglers played against the Los Angeles Stars in the last game of the VHL season. The Los Angeles Stars won the game with a score of 5-1. The Los Angeles Stars scored five goals while the Calgary Wranglers only scored one. The game saw a total of eight penalties, with four for each team. The game's goalkeeper statistics show that Art Vandelay, the Los Angeles Stars' goalkeeper, made 27 saves from 28 shots with a save percentage of 0.964, while Oskar Lindbergh, the Calgary Wranglers' goalkeeper, made 39 saves from 44 shots with a save percentage of 0.886.

Report from VHL Times on this media spot: It was tough to see London goalie Jesse Teno's season has ended after the team lost its last game of the season to HC Davos Dynamo, despite Teno achieving a 0.960 save percentage and saving 48 of 50 shots. Teno's team is now out of the playoffs, and with the upcoming loss of the team's GM, it remains unclear if any future leadership will make moves with players, including Teno, who is the team's only goalie. However, it is unlikely that Teno will be traded due to the high demand for goalies. Teno ends the season with a record of 34-23-7, a 0.925 save percentage, a 2.62 goals-against average, and three shutouts. While disappointed not to have made the playoffs, Teno is committed to staying with London through their contract and beyond. During the off-season, Teno plans to return home to Vermont to rest and relax, continue training, and work with their charity to provide free hockey equipment and lessons to families and grants to local rinks in need of funds to improve their facilities.

The article does a good job discussing the performance of four VHL teams as they enter the playoffs. Los Angeles Stars have improved their performance this season and are in a good position to make it to the playoffs. However, the fact that they haven't played their backup goalie yet, Alexander Minion, may pose a challenge in the tougher games ahead if they face any injuries. Moscow Menace, the best run team in the VHL by some assessments, is currently leading the European Conference, but goaltending is a question mark. London United has one of the easiest schedules to close out the season and may stand a chance to make the playoffs, but they will have to make an improvement in their performance. The Warsaw Predators are also in the playoff race but have had a tougher season than in the past, and their performance has been inconsistent.

Montgomery Burns stepped up to the podium to face the press for his latest interview. He had gained a lot of attention recently for his performances in the minor leagues, and the press wanted to hear more from the youngster. Monty looked composed and confident as he took his place at the podium, taking a deep breath to steady his nerves. The first question came from a reporter eager to know more about Monty's recent success. "Monty, you've been in great form recently, scoring some impressive goals. What do you attribute your success to, and what do you hope to achieve this season?" Monty smiled as he thought about his recent performances. "I think it's a combination of things. Obviously, I've been working hard on my skills and technique, and I've been fortunate enough to be given some great opportunities by my teammates. But I also think that my determination and focus have played a big part in my success. As for my goals for the season, I just want to keep improving and contributing to the team's success in any way I can." Another reporter asked Monty about his physical style of play. "Monty, you've earned a reputation as a tough and physical player on the ice. How do you balance that with the need for discipline, and how do you ensure you don't cross the line?" Monty nodded thoughtfully at the question. "It's definitely a balancing act, and I'm always conscious of not crossing the line. I try to channel my physicality into positive play, creating opportunities for my team and shutting down the opposition. And I know that it's important to maintain discipline and avoid unnecessary penalties. So, I'm constantly working on refining my game and finding that balance." As the press conference drew to a close, Monty felt satisfied with how the interview had gone. As he stepped down from the podium, Monty knew that there would be more challenges ahead, but he was ready to face them head-on, fueled by his passion for the game and his desire to succeed.

Montgomery Burns, or Monty as he preferred to be called, walked into the press conference room for his first interview with the media before joining his new VHML team. As a rookie who had never played in the VHML, Monty was understandably nervous. However, he managed to remain calm, cool, and collected as he took his seat at the table. Monty's tall and muscular frame dominated the room, and the reporters looked up at him with a mixture of curiosity and anticipation. Monty took a deep breath and smiled, trying to project an air of confidence and reassurance. He knew that his performance on the ice would be closely scrutinized, and that his answers to the reporters' questions would be analyzed and critiqued by fans and critics alike. The first question came from a reporter at the front of the room. "Monty, you're a rookie who has never played in the VHML before. How are you feeling about joining the league, and what do you hope to achieve?" Monty paused for a moment, collecting his thoughts before responding. "I'm feeling both nervous and excited about joining the VHML. It's an incredible opportunity, and I'm honored to be given the chance to compete at this level. As for my goals, I just want to do my best and help my team in any way I can. I know that there will be challenges and obstacles, but I'm ready to face them head-on." Another reporter asked about Monty's style of play. "Monty, you're known for your physical presence on the ice. How do you plan to utilize that in the VHML, and do you think it will be an advantage for you?" Monty smiled again, feeling more comfortable as he settled into the interview. "I do believe that my physical play is one of my strengths. I'm a big guy, and I've always enjoyed using my size and strength to my advantage. That being said, I also know that the VHML is a highly skilled league, and that I'll need to develop my technical abilities as well. So, I'll be working hard to improve all aspects of my game, and hopefully, that will help me succeed on the ice." Another reporter asked: "What team do you want to join?" Monty responds, "I want to win. Mexico City has been doing that. Ottawa has been doing that. I'd be happy to join either of those teams if they are going to remain competitive. But I will work to make whoever I join a better team." As the interview continued, Monty found himself growing more comfortable and confident. He spoke about his training regimen, his admiration for some of the top players in the VHML, and his eagerness to learn and improve. He was humble and respectful, acknowledging the challenges he would face as a rookie, but also expressing his determination to succeed. When the interview finally came to an end, Monty felt a sense of relief wash over him. He knew that the real challenge lay ahead on the ice, but he felt confident that he had done his best to prepare himself mentally and emotionally. As he left the room, Monty felt a mixture of nerves and excitement, eager to take the next step in his journey as a VHML player. Reporter: "No more questions." "Excellent."

Hi everyone. I was in this league several years ago and have just decided to get back in it. I went crazy trying to upgrade my first time and flamed out so maybe I'll take it a bit easier this time. Looking forward to joining a team and figuring out what the heck I'm supposed to do!

It's medicore. I know that Toronto can do better but it's not the worst start ever, either. I think offense will continue to improve. Overall, the teams depth will pay off in the long haul as everyone continues to improve. Goaltending. My goals are to be a top offensive player on my team. It was a solid choice from what I know of it. I haven't been online a ton since the offseason began. I am just trying to get back in to the swing of things now, but so far so good. -

1. I think we did a great job. Got some top notch players who should not have slid as far as they did. There must be some nepotism or heavy drug use by other front offices. 2. I can not give myself advice so I will just absorb information. 3. I have only seen one of them and thought it was great! 4. Both are great teammates and big contributors on and off the ice. 5. That could definitely come back to bite us in the ass. 6. We will pick 5th overall. -
1. I have been slated to go top 3-5 for most of the last few weeks in the VHLM Dispersal Draft. How that translates to my overall draft spot, we shall see! The higher, the better. 2. My offensive ability. I have one of the best shots in the VHLM. 3. I add a lot of pop culture flavour to the room. A helping hand for newer players. And an active voice in the community. 4. My grandparents. We are having to stay apart because of COVID-19 but I will definitely be calling them. 5. I am most closely like @Banackock in how I want to model my game. His goal scoring ability is a rare thing. 6. I want to be known as one of the best offensive players of all time. Period.

When he isn't lifting weights in his garage, Michael Mac spends time playing games, watching movies and sharing meals with family. The projected No. 3 pick in the 2020 VHLM dispersal draft should be on the ice battling in the VHLM playoffs and looking forward to the biggest moment of his young career at the end of May but his team was woefully disappointing. In Mac’s first year, he led his team in points after not even being on the roster in game 1. And in an era of social distancing and self-isolation brought on by the crippling COVID-19 pandemic, Mac's daily routine looks a lot like those of millions of other people across North America and around the world. "I don't have much to do," Mac said on a conference call with reporters Monday. "I didn't spend that much time with my family this year. I lived with billets. It's good for us to spend time together." That's perhaps the only silver lining for the Hounds star winger. The Canadian Hockey League cancelled the playoffs and the Memorial Cup this week due to the novel coronavirus outbreak after previously scratching the end of the regular season. The VHL draft, meanwhile, was scheduled for May and will have to be done remotely in Toronto — a short distance from the 25-year-old Mac's hometown of Mississauga — but the event, along with the scouting combine and the league's award show, were all postponed. That could mean no announcement of his name to an adoring crowd, no walk across the stage, no big party. And if he does indeed go No. 3 in an unusual draft, Mac will have something else in common with many VHLers. Somebody who had a rough start in hockey but blossomed into a star. "It would be a little bit different, but it's still an honour to get drafted by an VHL team," Mac said before news of the draft's postponement broke. "It's really special." Mac, who helped lead Canada to gold at the world hockey championship in January, said he's learned to not worry about things outside his tight circle. "I just try to focus on myself and going through it day by day," Mac said. "One important thing is to control what you can control. There's some things that you cannot really control. "You've got to stay focused on yourself and try to do your stuff." That includes working out a few hours a day by himself using a program set up by his off-season trainer. "I have all the equipment that I need to get stronger and stay in shape," Mac said. "For sure it's different, but I think I can I can get stronger even if I train at my house." He also lamented the abrupt end to the season when the Hounds tanked in the final weeks of the season. "It went by really quick," he said of his season in the VHLM. "I enjoyed a lot of good times, good memories with my teammates. It's sad that you won't get to play with these guys again. "The most important thing is that everyone stays healthy." Mac's season started with sky-high expectations and a ridiculous offensive tear to begin the VHLM schedule as a rookie. Unfortunately, his team could not keep it going. Mac wouldn't bite when asked if he's done enough to cement a top 3 slot, but he did touch on the @Jubo07Helsinki Titans & @GustavMattias HC Davos— the teams with the best odds of drafting him based on the final standings. "Great organization," he said of Helsinki, before adding later of HC Davos: "It would be special. It's a great place to play. "We'll see what happens." For now, though, all he can do is train, wait and cherish some family time. "It's always fun to be able to be home and spend time with them," Mac said. "It's easier for sure that I'm with them and can stay here until everything's done." That's likely a long ways off. It also can't come soon enough.
