1. Recreates happened, who do you think is going to have a standout career among that group?
- Honestly, you have me stumped there.
 
2. The Kings didn't make any moves at the trade deadline, do you think this is the right move?
 - We are in a tough spot. Bouncing around the middle of the pack and I don't think many teams were really looking to give up any big names. This gives us a good shot and next year.
 
3. We are in a tight battle for 3rd overall, what can we do to clinch it?
- I'd love to see it happen
 
4. Viktor Alexei Kamenov is tied for 2nd in power play goals, how does he do it?
- That dude is like Ovi out there. He just has his spot.
 
5. What does being a King mean to you?
- Right now it means being apart of building a new image and a new dream.

- Late to the party, but I thought we (USA) did well!

- Wish I knew man. Some games everything clicks, others nothing is.

- As someone not on the team last year, it doesn't hit me as hard, but I know a lot of the guys would like to forget last year

- I'm really getting to like my drafted team HC David

- Anything with peanut butter

1. We've made some big trades recently, who do you think's going to make the biggest impact for us?
 - I'll just on the Viktor Mjers hype train. This guys has a lot of potential.
2. What do you think is going to be your best stat this season?
 - A week ago I woul'd have said shot blocks and hits, but this week has been amazing for my assist numbers, so that's looking up.
3. We've had a lot of Kings getting jobs recently, what would your ideal VHL job be?
 - AGM. As a more of a leader, I feel like I would excel in this role
4. What VHLM team do you think is just going to slip into the playoffs?
-  I feel like Mississauga is a bit up there to me.
5. Who's the most underrated player on the Kings?
- I pick someone different Chris Hylands has some nice all around stats. Definitely a solid player.
6. Have you picked up any new hobbies or dove deeper into one during this isolation period.
- I've been all on board getting deeper into programming. Amazing them things you can make computers and everything around you do!

Still a lot of games to go, so not reading into it too much, but its a great start!

1. Welcome to the kings (or welcome back for some of you). We are throwing a pitch in party, what are you bringing?
 
As the newbie I think I'm supposed to bring the pucks? Else wise, some nice burgers will do.
 
2. For those of you who were drafted, are you surprised at your draft position. For those not drafted how do you feel about Chris Hylands @Hylands33 going first overall?
 
For me and all that's I've been through in the VHL it felt really weird to get drafted after spending last season on 2 teams and getting a cup with Ottawa.
 
3. What is your main goal this season?
 
The make a name for myself. Last season was all about learning and adapting. I think now it's my time to shine.
 
4. What do you think the Kings chances are this season?
 
I think we've got what it takes to make a good playoff push. Seeing all the top teams burning a lot for last season and seeing what Mexico has stocked up, I think we've got what it takes.
 
5. The kings are looking for a new mascot, what do you think it should be?
 
I don't know, but we definitely shouldn't be taking any notes from Los Angeles. I get a lion, but I think better can be done.

Chance Rust can best be described as “The player every team needs, but the one everyone forgets about”. Chance prides himself on being the one to have a good game play and shut teams down, but in ways that keep him off the score sheet. Battles in the corner, keeping players out of the front of the net and making smart plays are his goal in every game.
 
Chance has been playing for many years and has slowly been making his way up the ladder system. It has been a struggle for him to advance at points, but through his hard work and constant contact with the coaches, staff and players has earned him good reputation as a leader and one that always wants to improve himself. The VHLM and eventually the VHL are Chance’s next goals in his career and he hopes that his talent and skills will lend himself well to his new teams.
 
Stats wise, Chance is a defensive defenseman, so goals tend to be far and few between, but he does try and get his assist numbers up. His leadership and discipline keep him out of the box, but he’s not afraid to take good penalties when in the best interest of the team and moments. Likewise, he’s not a very physical guy, and rarely throws a hit, but he’s still not afraid to use his body in the corner and work to out battle his opponents 1 on 1 for the puck. The best stat to look for though to see Chance’s abilities is to actually look at the stats of his opponents and their stars as shutting them down is what he does best. Matching up against the best of the best and not letting them play their game is what makes him a game changer.  
 
Throughout his career, Chance has developed and run some of the best penalty killing squads and he looks to improve on it in his next steps of his play. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, Chance was unable to enter the VHLM entry draft and is entering through free agency. Don’t think this will stop Chance from making an impact right away though.
 
Don’t be looking for his name in the papers and box scores because you won’t find him there. Just look for him on the ice and for his team at the top of the standings.

Everyone wrote us off from the start. After being heavy buyers in Season 69 (nice), a season in which Peace led the team to a ridiculous 68-4-0 record in the regular season and a Founder’s Cup, the Wild was left without much to work with. That being said, Elmebeck had decided early in Season 70 that he was going to rebuild for Season 72, selling two players - Kristopher McDagg and Damien Wolfe - for a 1st-round pick in Season 72 each.
 
When I joined the staff near last trade deadline, I followed with the plan of having one more rougher campaign and getting back up as one of the serious contenders for the Season 72 Founder’s Cup. I traded our only valuable active asset - Gary Tarantino - to the Minnesota Storm for a 3rd-round and a 6th-round picks. However, I didn’t like not having any player on the roster in Season 71, so I decided to trade later round picks in future drafts for ones in Season 71, thinking I’d be able to get a couple of players to suit in Season 71, players who will hopefully stay with the team through Season 72, when things will start to get interesting for us. Without going through every trade I made, here’s a summary of what was dealt:

All in all, we have received 6 valuable mid-round picks, with which we drafted 6 active players - 4 forwards and 2 defensemen. Slow earners, sure, but that just means that they are more likely to stay down one more season with the team and be here for our Cup run in Season 72. We have also managed to do that without touching any of our earlier picks next season, as we still hold three 1st rounders - including Houston’s 1st rounder, which should be a lottery pick - and our own 2nd rounder. I might look to sell a couple of S73 picks for, notably, a goalie and maybe a couple more 2nd rounders but, all in all, I feel like this team has the tools to make a surprise push this season - at the time of writing this, we are 3rd in the VHLM standings - but most of all, the Wild is already set to be one of the top contenders next season.
