TPE ban is much less severe than a suspension from forums and the discord we left the CoC separate from the rule book because there's a chance that new players come in and, say, only read the VHLM rulebook. i personally think it's better practice to have the CoC separate, have its own tab in the "rules" dropdown, because it's far more visible. i also think that a link to the CoC should be included in the initial message that's sent to creates, but i also don't know what's currently in that message. i see you. there are so many reasons that people don't enjoy the holidays. whether beloved family members are gone, money is tight and celebrating traditionally isn’t an option, or being around family feels unsafe or disingenuous, the end of the year can be extremely isolating and alienating. i also understand how guilty you may feel for being resentful during a time where it feels like everyone around you is happy and fucking frolicking around. regardless, i just wanted to remind you that it's okay to not enjoy this time of year. i could write hundreds of words with reasons to hate december. the holiday season will be over before you know it–just keep moving forward and do what's best for you.

1. i’ve been bringing a stupid amount of joy lately with the daily christmas posts. i’ve been transcribing tiktok audios that make me laugh. no one sees my comments because we’re all just there to get our silly little raffle entries, and that’s okay. just some silly goofy times. there were a few people that saw my banana bread one, and a couple people had no idea what i was doing and made themselves look like a fool by questioning me. dweebs. 2. vhl in december is the best version of vhl, and you can’t change my mind. seeing everyone come together to donate to local or international causes is really amazing. my favorite part is scrolling through the donation thread to see where people donated other than the league-established charity destination. people have given to animal shelters, facilities seeking to help queer people in medicine, planned parenthood, all kinds of shit. i really love it. 3. take care of yourself, pals.
