Might I ask why? I personally do t think people should be able to re-submit answers. If you got it wrong it should count as being wrong. That’s my line of thinking anyway.

Thing is, that would be boring. You’d always have the better teams on paper winning. I get why a bit of extra randomness seems to be introduced in the playoffs. It’s just infuriating how strong that randomness tends to be and how much it seems to favour certain people. For example, the playoffs hate @Banackock and I but they love @Devise.

My entire career with Holik in a nutshell. Sim randomness definitely gets turned up to 11 in the playoffs there’s no doubt and I think it’s just to make things more interesting but it goes too far, especially with the goalies and especially since it seems to pick and choose from the point of creation which ones will be good playoff goalies and which ones won’t because it’s far more consistent than you’d expect it to be.

I never said you had to be happy because it wasn’t more. I’m saying that it definitely could have been more based if the discussion and goal we had in mind. If you disagree with that goal that’s fine but that won’t change it. Never in 65 seasons has the VHL ever been intended as a 4 line league, that’s just a fact and we aren’t intending on changing that league structure. So why then should the VHLM not run the same way? I’m not even desperately aiming for that, I’m aiming to have teams with room enough to keep recruiting. Fact is recruitment had to stop at the end of the season because they ran out of room to put players; ask @Beaviss yourself. I simmed the VHLM, I saw how full teams were. It’s possible if positions worked out perfectly that teams might have had room for a couple of players each but that would be it. There’s simply not enough room for sustainability where we were. This should give us enough that we can hold for a bit and calm down with all the expansion which personally I would love. I’ve got enough to deal with during the seasons and off-seasons without having to worry about finding logos (and paying for them) then figuring out expansion rules and having double the drafts. You can think I’m lying all you want but this is not the easy way out, this is far more work and I have made it clear that there will be far more pushback against trying to expand any further in either league for at least the next few seasons until we can figure out how sustainable our growth will be. I don’t want to do this every season any more than you do. Now, you can believe that or not, I don’t really care. I’m not arguing in circles with you about every decision that gets made. You say it’s impossible to change an opinion here but you offer no real evidence to support your side; you just disagree and then act as if I’m the one being unreasonable.
