Playoff index only goes up when I export it. As soon as the season ends the playoffs start, regardless of that output. Signings would need to be before the last sim. I’ll definitely see if it’s possible but it’s very likely he won’t be in for the playoffs.

It was @Will but honestly it was a massive clusterfuck to achieve because the sim engine is very much designed against adding players once the playoffs are started. That’s why we don’t allow it. Just happened to be that he signed the same day as the final sim so it’s a little trickier. Purely by the book he signed after the last sim so it doesn’t count. As for lines, do them without him and just include in the email where you’d like him if I can figure it out. At least that way you’re guaranteed to have something. I wouldn’t get your hopes up though.

Technically yes but that’s gonna create other problems I imagine with the index and the portal because we’d end up with 2 of him and then we’d be stuck trying to link the right one for updating and stats and stuff. It’s messy at best and a complete clusterfuck at worst.

And I’ll see if I can but ultimately the last games were summed before the signing was done so I don’t believe I can add players at this point. I’ll try though.

I’ll try but he was signed 3 hours after the final sim, I don’t think I’ll be able to add him. Once playoffs start in the engine I don’t think you can’t add new players to rosters.

Number 1 was actually pretty easy without counting. Just went into the continental cup page on the portal and command + f the term “4-3” since it always lists the round score. Came up with 25 without needing to count.

Like I said, games played aren’t games started. Even with the extra one against Seattle that you weren’t expecting you were 3 under. It sucks but it’s the rules; we were very clear that we’d start punishing for it.

You aren’t wrong. The, for lack of a better word, skill of our GFX community has gone down a lot. Not sure if people just aren’t experienced or don’t want to try.

This season Quebec ( @Beaviss) failed to start their backup 3 times and Helsinki once. While both GM’s made attempts they ultimately did leave it to the last minute when standings were more or less set and also knew the rules would be enforced. Since @Quik was directly involved (being Helsinki GM) @Will and I were the ones to confer on it and we agree that the best course of action this season would be to remove playoff games from both teams. Therefore QUE G will be starting for the (up to) 3 games of the Wild Card round and HSK G will start the first game of the Riga vs. Helsinki series. As a reminder to all, games played and games started are not the same thing. The backup goalie must start 8 games. The starter being pulled and giving the backup an extra GP does not count. @VHL GM

Oh I’m not actively trying to get rid of it but that doesn’t mean I don’t hate it. Most of the hate has just moved toward the fact that only MS writers get the benefit and no one else can which isn’t really fair. Either way, it can stay whether I dislike it or not. There are plenty of things in the league I don’t personally like, that doesn’t mean they are all on the chopping block.

Well you were still 3 under your required backup games even with this one so you probably shouldn’t be complaining much, it would have just been worse for you.

It’s only the second time I’ve won top scorer in general and yeah, the other was the lowest total ever. With my luck this is probably the second lowest. Edit: just checked, third lowest. Well that’s... better at least haha. Somehow I have the second highest total to not win but also the 1st and 3rd lowest totals to win. Still, glad I didn’t throw them away like I almost did. I’ll gladly share the Brooks with @omgitshim. Been a hell of a battle all season.
