Honestly I don’t subscribe to the idea of waiting it out for S100; so many claim to be doing it that the class is going to be stupid competitive. Just join for S99 and get to be on the higher end of your draft class and more likely to actually play at the VHL level in S100.

Usual reasons. Either the team was relocated / removed or the logo was completely stolen from somewhere and we didn’t actually own the rights to it.

INDEX @VHL GM To send in your lines please use the Team Management section of the portal, if you have manual requests due to trades or other roster changes please PM me your notes. For this first set if there any any issues in your rosters please let me know as soon as possible so I can correct them before the first sim tomorrow. I made sure all rosters can be at least valid so we should have no problems there but if you're missing any players, if any players are the wrong position, or anything else I need to know. A reminder that the portal and the sim are different entities so having someone on your roster portal wise does not guarantee they will be in your roster sim wise. I have to add them manually so please be as clear as possible with any requests. Last bit of house keeping is a reminder that your lines should not be renamed in any way from the default. Changing the name at all will make the auto-load lines function skip your lines and I'm not likely to notice so please be sure they are simply named after your team as is the default. I cannot promise you a specific time for games, although 7PM EST is most likely; whenever games do run they will be live at the link below. I can't promise you they will be very entertaining; in fact I can almost guarantee that they won't be. However in an effort to be more transparent with our simming you will all be able to watch me click buttons in all it's glory. I will do my best to put a message on discord whenever I go live and you can use the #roles channel to subscribe to the notifications so you won't miss when sims are going live. To be fair to @Ahma we do have access to an edit button. I don’t necessarily agree that we need a single post list the night of the awards but there’s no reason we couldn’t go in after the prediction post goes up (and the list is generated for us) and edit that list into the OP of the awards.

You would be surprised how many people don’t understand odds. I used to sell scratch tickets and people legit had the belief that if there was a 1/4 chance of winning they would be guaranteed a winner if they bought 4. People do not understand that each one has the same 1/4 chance.

A bit of timing and a lot of good luck really. I’ve had only 1 player get 2 and several players get none including a 20 season run without even making the finals. There’s been good teams in there obviously but especially with 16 teams now just being on a “good team” isn’t really enough, you need that luck of the draw element as well. And that doesn’t even account for whatever voodoo curse @Gustav only just exorcised.

Season 97 Experience Points Congratulations to all @Members for the completion of another successful VHL season, as well as to Seattle for taking home the Continental Cup. As always, with the season finished, all VHL players have earned some more experience based on the length of their campaign. In addition, anyone who participated in the VHLM in S97 is eligible to claim 3 Experience points. How to Claim Claim experience in the Player Management area by clicking the 'CLAIM UNCAPPED' button, select Off-Season, then select Experience from the dropdown. Enter the amount of Experience you are eligible for as described below and link to this thread.  Once approved, the Experience will be added directly to your player's experience attribute. You do not need to apply it yourself.  NOTE: YOU CAN NOT CARRY OVER EXPERIENCE POINTS EARNED BY A RETIRED PLAYER ONTO A RECREATE  POINTS Full VHL Season - 5 Points Partial VHL Season - 2 points (Less than 72 GP in VHL, unless due to a trade) Playoffs - 2 Points Finals - 1 Point VHLM (Any Amount) - 3 Points Example: Eric White Jr played for Seattle and won in the finals.
