Uhhh… awkward. The big payoff stuff is really dependant on when in the year the off season falls. The big ones being Christmas and the league birthday in July but obviously neither of those are going to fall during an off season in March.

After 26 long seasons and far too many trips to the final I can finally lift the continental cup again! And honestly what a fucking series and what an amazing group of people to do it with. I don’t recall if I’ve ever captained a continental cup team but I’m exceptionally glad to have been able to lead this group. London, big GG here. You guys had an amazing run when honestly I don’t think anyone even saw you beating Malmo let alone stretching it out to game 7 of the cup final. You had me worried as hell after the first 2 haha.

Yeah for GM leagues it’s a really cool idea but for a player sim like ours it kinda exists only to ruin the experience for people. Like how much would it suck to have one of your (already limited) 9 seasons be completely derailed because you got injured and missed half the season? Like you finally get your build to its prime, you’ve got a bit of time before depreciation, and Simon just says “nope, full season injury.” There’s a lot of things where we remove realism for the sake of player enjoyment and injuries are high on that list.
