Gotcha, that makes more sense

1. As Spartan pointed out we did raise the cap already and helped to mitigate the extra TPE. 2. Raising the cap when there are multiple teams who have the space but not the willingness doesn’t fix the problem. All it does is make more room for the teams at the cap and it wouldn’t be an increase large enough for any of them to sign the players anyway because an increase that large would just lead to more problems later. If teams are choosing to have empty cap space they’ll continue making that choice regardless of what we set the cap to.

Why does the portal list it as $5M then? Who isn’t being accounted for in there?

Would it though? It’s not as if their caps are any lower; all it does is move the bar for everyone. Max earning players still get to the VHL quicker than welfare players and still fill up the rosters while welfare players are still earning to make it up. It would take n theory help M and E activity levels but I fail to see how moving the bar for everyone would do anything but slide the problem down later.

I did consider the option both ways. Honestly I just hit 200 so it's not like I would have been starting the season super low or something. I mostly decided to stay down because I didn't get a Founder's Cup in my Waiver season and I expect I'll have at least 1 season to try out the VHLE anyway so I want to see if I can get a cup at each level.

I feel like that’s probably all I did as well which is why I was curious. I know I added more options but they tended to get votes split up in a similar manner.
