In her spare time, Riley Couture has been playing animal crossing new horizons, but she has been struggling to split her time between playing on her switch and doing her training for the VHL. Riley had a long hard think about how she could link the two together. Could she take her switch with her as she skates on the ice? Hmm, not likely. That could be very dangerous. The conclusion she came to was very interesting. She could train herself on the virtual island! Winter is here now in Animal Crossing New Horizons and It's a perfect time to add an ice hockey rink to her island design. She started off by logging onto the custom design computer, at the able sister's, in-game. Then she looked for some custom designs that she could spread on the floor to make her ice hockey rink. She decided to make it look more like a frozen-over pond, added a goal, a stick and some ice skates. The perfect area for her to get some training done!

Welcome to the Halifax 21st Press Conference For December 7th - 13th. 1. What is your player doing to stay warm as the weather turns? 2. Which Celebrity would you get to endorse the Halifax 21st Team? 3. Should we hold an actual ice hockey match on a boat, with a rink inside? how would that go? 4. Which protien is your player's favourite to put in meals and get strong? 5. Does your player have any other sporting talents that we do not know about? 6. If your player got the chance to go to space, what would their reaction be?

As the festive season is kicking off this year, many journalists have been asking Riley Couture some Christmas themed questions to try and show the holiday spirit to hockey fans all over. One of the questions asked to Couture by a journalist was the following, "What does a typical Christmas Day look like for you?" Riley beamed from ear to ear as she thought of all of the nostalgia that the holiday brings. "I'll be honest," Riley started. "I find it hard to switch off from my hockey training, it's usually on my mind but I have to try my best to wind down since it's a day I spend with my family." She continued. "I get to visit my parent's house on Christmas day, my Mum makes a great turkey and all of my aunts, uncles and cousins come to visit. After dinner we have a rest then by the evening we are playing party games; charades, quizzes, the lot. I'm excited for this year." The journalist smiled and thanked Riley for her time.

Welcome to the Halifax press conference for the 30th November to the 6th December. Sorry about the graphic being off center, I didn't notice until afterwards. ^^' 1. Christmas Season is upon us, what are you thinking of gifting the player above you? 2. Are there any tricks that your player uses to feel more energised before a match? 3. What does your player do to keep their focus during a game? 4. How are your overall points looking so far this season? 5. Are any Halifax 21st Players on your christmas cards list? 6. Which decorations would you use to trim up the stadium for the holiday season?

Since joining the VHL Riley has played 23 games during which she has scored 4 goals and 6 assists from the third line. This means a total of 10 points overall which is alright for now since she has probably only played for 10 minutes per game at the moment. Riley has had the chance to get 45 shots, which means that she has missed 41 shots, that is funny. Her PIM which I think means Pears in minutes is 13 which is an unlucky number and may give bad omens to Riley, please wish her luck and give her all of the charms you can. Riley who describes herself as a young ruffian who has been beating up players on other teams during the matches with 17 hits. She has 2 SB which means shots blocked, this is good since she isn't even a defender, ha what do vancouver even need defenders for with forwards like this? She has 0 GW, PPG and SHG.

We've been having some strong wins within this past week, what will your player do as a part of the team to keep it up? 2. Given our progress so far what are your predictions for our team going forward this season? 3. Does your player do anything of note during rest intermissions between periods? 4. What is one thing that you enjoy about playing for Halifax? 5. Is there anything that the crowd can shout to wind up your player or get you in a bad mood? 6. Alternatively, what fan phrase always helps to cheer you on?

This week Riley Couture has been trying to scout some players for the Halifax 21st, this task involves looking for new rookies and giving them contract offers to see if they would like to join the team. It's a tradition for Halifax 21st to, instead of asking the rookies to accept the contract with 'I accept', ask the rookies to accept the contract with the phrase 'Boat Gang', a common phrase used to cheer on the Halifax 21st. One player who decided to accept a contract with Halifax who shows promise is called Loic Trepanier who will serve as a back up goalie for the team. Already Loic has been interacting with the team, asking for help and has been spotted doing practice. This is a good sign for a player when they have only joined up within a few days. Riley is looking forward to the player's future on the team and wishes them the best.
