  5. Welcome to the press conference for 16th november - 22nd November, please remember that you only need to answer 6 questions to get your 2 TPE. 1. How do you feel about the locker room since the new players joined? 2. What kind of activities would you all love to do to break the ice? 3. If you had to nominate your own player for any award, what would it be and why? 4. Your player has been sponsored by a pair of skates, what slogon do you use to advertise them? 5. How are you cheering on your team mates this season? 6. Which member of the Halifax 21st shows the most potential in your eyes at the moment? 7. Which piece of Halifax 21st merchandise seems to be most popular at the moment in sales?
  6. During her time with Halifax in season 74, Riley Couture played a total of 72 games, the same amount as her previous season with saskatoon. Luckily Riley has shown a big improvement, since season 73, with 42 more points than last season's 48, meaning she got 90 in season 74 which gives her a total of 138 points over two seasons. To break it down for season 74, that's 36 goals and 54 assists. Unfortunately, however, in season 73 Riley was struggling with her discipline, with 52 penalties in minutes, but this season she has 61 penalties in minutes. Riley is off the rails and really needs someone to show her some good behaviour on the ice. In terms of her physicality, Riley had 86 hits during her first season and has pushed herself to reach a higher 106 hits this season. That's an improvement of 20 hits since last season.
  7. Hi Videl, I'm the AGM of Halifax 21st and we'd like to make you an offer to join our team this season. If you’d like to accept this please quote this post and say 'boat gang'
  8. You only need to answer 6. 1. How do you think we did in the draft? 2. How do you plan to give your new team mates a warm welcome? 3. What is your player up to during the off season? 4. Do you have any plans for celebrations throughout November with your team mates? Lots of holidays this time of year. 5. It's getting close to winter time, if it snows what will your player be doing? 6. If you had to hold a competition between yourself and your team mates, what would it be? Who would win? 7. What are you planning to do to build your player up, ready for the new season? 8. What would your line up look like for the next season, if you got to choose?
  9. Riley has often been asked by interviewers; "If Ice Hockey wasn't the big dream? What would you be doing instead?" Riley, of course, replies with "This is absurd, I do love Ice Hockey and I couldn't even begin to think about working a day job." Then she will pause for a moment with her finger to her chin, thoughtfully continuing. "That being said, I do think that I would make a good bodyguard, using some of the transferable skills that I have picked up whilst being the assistant general manager for the Halifax 21st." This will give the interviewers an inquisitive expression. "And what do you mean by that Riley?" They will ask. "I always have to look out for my Team Mate Rick Osman in the locker room, I have to make sure that no one bullies him and if that is that case, I must kill them." The interviewers will look on in shock. "Funny thing is," Riley continued, "This week I accidentally killed Dolant instead of Dil, but that meant that I was being the bully, so I had to kill myself. That's why I'm talking to you now in my ghost form!" The interviewers find it hard to compose themselves having been given this information but they have to finish up the news segment. "Well there you have it folks, player Riley Couture who is about to move up to the VHL doesn't even have a body to play with anymore, good luck to her out there on the Ice, she will desperately need it."
  10. Haflifax press conference 2 Nov - 8 - Nov Hi team, hope you're doing well this week. I'm a little late to getting this done today so appologies for the lack of questions. Here are your questions for 2nd November - 8th November. 1. How did you feel about the finals? 2. What are your player's plans for the upcoming seasons? 3. How are you planning to update your build going forward? 4. It's getting colder as we get to mid autumn, what is your player doing to keep warm? 5. What is your player's favourite autumn snack or beverage? 6. If you had to swap your player's role on the ice rink, 5 minutes before a game, where would you play?
  11. Riley couture got her chance to celebrate Halloween this week in her own way, trick or treat? For her, it's definitely trick! Riley has been pulling pranks on people around the Halifax stadium. Firstly, she made some secret special spicey candies infused with ghost peppers, and she swapped the candies in the canteen with the ones she made. She watched and snickered from the corner as one by one, staff members from the stadium grabbed a candy and turned red, running to the water fountain quickly afterwards. Riley also filled her teammate's ice hockey skates with whipped cream. At first, she laughed as her friends got creamy wet socks, but then panicked. The teammates had cottoned onto her prank when she was the only one with clean toes, they all looked mad and threw their dirty socks at her. That night she cried as she had learned her lesson, don't mess with ice hockey players on halloween.
  12. Hi everyone, this is the Halifax 21st Press Conference for October 26th - November 1st. Please remember that you only need to answer 6 questions to get your 2 TPE. Have fun. 1. A strange eerie feeling has been in the air this week, what has really been spooking your player inside the stadium? 2. If some weird rule suddenly came into Ice hockey where we needed 40 players, which team in the VHLM should we partner up with? And what would it become? 3. What are your thoughts on the playoffs? 4. What are your player's plans of the off season? 5. Our mascot actor has become sick, who would you volunteer to take on the role for a day? What would be their dance moves? 6. Your player has been chosen to sponsor a product in a new commercial? What product is is, and what is your slogan? 7. What are the best places to trick or treat around Halifax City?
  13. Please note, this is all in good fun, noone in this story is actually a bully, there is nothing to report here. Riley's job as Assistant general manager of the Halifax 21st is getting weirder by the day, as she feels less like an assistant gm and more like Rick Osman's baby sitter. He seems to attract a lot of meanie people who bully him day in and day out, and Osman takes this very personally and gets upset by this. Couture's job has been to be on call to hit anyone over the head who bullies the poor player. One instance of bullying towards Osman happened last night when the GM of Vancouver Wolves said that Halifax is a bad team with the words "all my homies hate hfx", this was directed at Osman with a tag, the GM went on to congratulate Halifax's rivals Miami in the same sentence. Osman realised this was an insult as he declared "but im on halifax". It was then Assistant GM Courture's time to step in and protect her buddy Rick. Time for her to bonk Beaviss on the head. Another job well done for AGM of Halifax, if not an unexpected job well done.

  15. Hi everyone, here are the questions for oct 19th - 25th. Please remember that you only need to answer 6. 1. Halloween is fast approaching us, what event would you like to see Halifax hold for it's team members in celebration? 2. If you had to guess your GM's favourite Halloween candy or treat, just based on his personality, what would it be and why? 3. Will your player be wearing a costume on the ice next week? What will it be? 4. What would you like to see our captain Rick Osman wearing? Keep in mind he is a tall guy. 5. What area do you think your player is succeeding in the most? 6. What area is your player's weakness, can you work towards improving this? 7. Which team do you see as Halifax's biggest rival at the moment, and what can we do to overcome them? 8. Which team in the NHL would you like to see affiliated with Halifax, why? 9. If there was mutiny in the Halifax locker room and you got to overthrow the GM, would you change anything about the team's current branding?
  16. Taking on the responsibility for the role of assistant general manager for the Halifax 21st has not been the smooth ride that Riley Couture had expected so far. There are some parts of the job that Riley knew about, such as asking the press conference questions for her teammates to answer, and she found that to be right up her alley in terms of work she enjoys. But what she wasn't expecting was to have to chase up after Rick Osman who had a temper tantrum and tried to leave the team after his feelings for the general manager, Dil, were not reciprocated. Riley had to chase Rick out of the locker room and try to bargain with him to come back, she offered him some good treats like extras votes in the general election, the good feeling of joining back on the team, etc. But nothing seemed to sway him in the moment. Luckily after Rick had calmed down he eventually joined back, though Dil bonked him.

  18. HALIFAX PRESS CONFERENCE OCTOBER 11TH 1. Who has the most annoying quirk in the Halifax Locker Room? What is that? 2. How does your player cope with losing a match? How do they motivate themselves ready for the next one? 3. Which other VHLM team would be the most fun for Halifax to hold a join party event with? 4.
