1. I like getting interview from major league teams who are looking to draft me. 2. I'm hoping to be drafted to a friendly majors team with a good atmosphere, hopefully the same team as @Emi or @LatinViking . I'm probably still going to be playing for Saskatoon but I will be poised ready to be called up whenever they're ready for me. 3. @nikhedonia because nepotism, but I do actually like this username. It means to anticipate victory, which is very fitting for a sports league. I like the hopefulness of it. 4. Saskatoon 5. Since our wifi has been out we have only been able to watch old dvds that we have hanging around.... on repeat. So we have been watching the Mighty Boosh, and seasons 14 and 15 of southpark. When the wifi is back up I'm gonna continue watching Supernatural by myself and The Muppets (2015) with @Emi. Honestly though, I get through a lot more youtube than I do tv shows, my viewing habits are a weird mix of minecraft videos, lolita fashion wardrobe tours and political commentary. 6. @a_Ferk Of course, I think you know this, I think this is why you asked.

I've been facing a few small problems since moving up from peewee hockey into the minor leagues. Nothing serious, just little things that leave me feeling miffed. For example, I can't show up late in my pyjamas anymore or else I'm criticised for oversleeping and wasting everybody else's time while I'm busy changing into my jersey. Getting my beauty sleep is important if I'm gonna keep up my stamina during a match, and I don't have time to dress appropriately when I have to drink at least 2 monster energies before I leave the house. I've also had less time to spend on my other hobbies since I have been training so much. Playing Kirby games on my 3DS has taken a backseat for now. Whilst I am passionate and dedicated to Ice Hockey, it's a shame that I can't see the little pink guy smiling on the screen as he sucks up waddle dee more often. I have been secretly listening to 'one-two oatmeal' through my wireless earphones as I train though!

When it comes to moving up to the major league, my dream would be to be on a team with both my wife @emi and my friend @latinviking, which would be more important to me than the specific team. However, since it would be unrealistic to expect to get on the same team with the both of them, I would also have fun as treating them as my rivals, as I currently have to with @latinviking already. As I have said many times before, my priorities for a team is the locker room, and how well the players can get along. I think we have a really good locker room here in Saskatoon where everyone gets along well and I want that friendly feeling that I get from this league to continue into my big girl years. This kind of atmosphere feeds me the motivation that I need to do well and train my player each week.

I don't get to watch it usually since there aren't any cheap services to watch it on here in the UK, so business as usual for me. I do wish we could watch more often though, brits only really seem to care about football and tennis when it comes to streaming / showing stuff on tv. 4. I've been having my cereal with water lately. It's gross sounding but doesn't taste too different, milk has been giving me a headache. You just can't drink the water after you finish the cereal like you do with milk. However, I pour the cereal first, you don't want the liquid to splash everywhere... 5. Don't start this again, my GM in the PBE would argue with me over this. ? Yes, pineapple on pizza is good, that doesn't mean anyone else has to eat it, it just means I like it. Haha. 6. I am sure this is obvious but my wife @emi , she helped me get into the league and figure out where everything is. In terms of my character though, I based my player around Logan Couture from the shorks.

Moving to Saskatoon for Ice Hockey has been an exciting experience, its very different from the city that I moved from. Even though I am enjoying being able to order poutine whenever I'm hungry, the weather here is colder than I expected, its not too bad at the moment since I can wear a jacket, but in the winter I'm sure I will suffer. I read that Saskatoon gets roughtly 55 days of snow in winter, my home city was always warm and sunny so it's gonna be an interesting happening for me. Something cool about this city is the surprising number of bridges to cross in order to travel around, it makes the layout of the city pretty picturesque in my opinion and I like looking out onto the water as I drive over them. I'm having a good time here but I would be lying if I said I wasn't home sick. Luckily playing for the Wilds has helped me to take my mind off of it and I love my team.

1. I think we don't need to do better, the simulation is a bit random and that's no fault of ours. We just need to keep updating and cheer eachother on. 2. No, everyone has their struggles and its up to everyone to support eachother through them. 3. I'm happy to hear that Norberg is doing well, I'm not surprised but I'm glad. 4. I actually really like Saskatoon's branding. The colour pallete is great and the animal on the logo is cute. 5. Sharks are out, Tampa. 6. I've always had a general interest in ice hockey. If anyone asked I would say it was the best sport, but I only knew anything I did from movies and the episode of the simpsons with Lisa playing Hockey. It was Emi who got me further into Ice hockey when we met in college.

Week 3

1. I really like the VHL, everyone here has been welcoming, inclusive and fun. The tasks are easy to do since there's a range of options, and I like the designs of all of the teams. 2. I like both teams so I don't think I would have minded either way. But I do like playing on a team with Emi Rune. And I'm glad that I get to stay on as an allumni for Miami's locker room. 3. I prefer to play with her, but playing against her is fun too since I can call her names when my team wins. >:) For now we get to work together though. ^^ 4. I'm happy to go to any team atm, but I like the look of vancouver. Hoooowl. 5. Goalkeeper. It was hard for me not to choose Gk this time around, but I can't do the same thing in every league/game I play. 6. A fun team, I like to feel welcomed above anything else since it boosts my morale to do well for the team.

Last week I talked about owning my own dream VHL team, the York Royals. This week I will be explaining the affiliate minor league team. Also set in york, but instead of having a theme of trains, this team will have a theme of roast pork, since there is a lovely roast pork sandwich shop in York. This team will be called the York Piggywigs. The logi will be a dead pig on a spit with an apple in its mouth to represent that lovely sandwich shop of the city. The colours will be black and white, similar to the store's logo, but will also have light brown to represent the succulent meaty roast. The mascot of this dead animal themed team will be a dead pig between two slices of bread. Looking like a big pig in a hotdog bun, with crosses for eyes. Yum. You can take bites of the mascot but it isn't advised since it will taste of cotton and the actor inside the suit will be grossed out.

For this article I'm gonna explain what I would do if I were to own my own VHL team; what would the name, location and logo be? What would the mascot be? Firstly, I love that the VHL allows for Hockey teams outside of America, to put this to use I would choose a team in my county's capital; York. York is sometimes considered to be the second most important city in the UK in regards to history and the royal family, it attracts many tourists and with a population of 150k+ citizens, there's plenty of potential to build up a fanbase here. One of the biggest attractions in York is the National Railway Museum which is home to the record breaking Mallard. For my Team's logo I would use a princess class train like the Mallard and her sister engines, and the team would be called York Royals. This name links back to both the train type, and the history of York. A Mallard train would be difficult to turn into a mascot, it's not something that an actor can easily dress up as and dance around to support the team, however a Mallard Duck is. This will be the team's mascot.
