Chicken Wing is an aggressive defenceman born in Zielona Gora, Poland. She has grown up her whole life playing mainly hockey, starting off playing in her driveway, she grew up being one of the better players of her age group, whether it be Tykes, Bantam, or Midget. She also played basketball, baseball, and gymnastics, however she was always the best at ice hockey and enjoyed it the most. As she became a teenager, she kept progressing and dominating in minor hockey. In her final game as a 15 year old, where her team won the Polish Midget championship, there was OHL scouts in the crowd. Coincidentally, they were watching her best game ever, scoring 4 goals and 4 assists in a shutout victory. This led to her being drafted by the OHL's Sudbury Wolves at age 16, in the 2nd round of the CHL import draft. She definitely warmed up the bench a lot when she first started out in the OHL, but quickly put in the work, and achieved more excellence to becoming a starter for the Wolves. She is quick to defend the puck in front of her net and carry it up the ice to score a goal. She improved every season with the Sudbury Wolves. Chicken Wing turned out to be a great recruit for the OHL, challenging every teammate to get better and being a locker room leader as well as her production. She still continues to learn more skills, scoring more goals and points as she plays on.                            

 
After she accomplished everything she could in the OHL, she was ready to move on and see what else was out there for her. She had many offers from several different leagues; however she had her heart set on joining the VHLM.
 
She was told by many that no VHLM team would ever be interested and she would never have a chance at starting a career in the VHLM. Wing took that as a challenge and ran with it. She started practicing shooting, skating, working out and doing anything she could to become the best she could before announcing that she would be taking her talents to the VHLM. Once she did, a few different VHLM teams were offering to sign her. After thinking long and hard about her decision, she chose to join the Philadelphia Reapers. 
 
Wing knew she wasn't going to be the best of the best in the VHLM just yet, but she will keep trying and working hard to get better with every game.
 
Chicken Wing is looking forward to growing with the Reapers, and though they may not win the championship this season, she is grateful for the experience and excited to see what's ahead for her future.

Philadelphia, PA-I recently just started in the VHL and was surprised by my many offers I received from various VHLM teams. I have some family in Philadelphia that own a chicken company and before I started getting serious about hockey I would work there frying the chickens that I used to name as a kid… kinda sad… RIP my chicken friends:(. Anyway, I spent most of my childhood in Philadelphia which is why I chose to join this team. I have many memories here, trying to hit chickens with hockey pucks, and starting my own hockey team where we used the chickens as nets, since my family could not afford to register me for a league. This team has an amazing culture and I am proud to be a part of it. Even though we are having a rough season, I believe that being on this team was a great choice to improve my skill so i can advance from the VHLM to the VHL. I am off to a great start in this season, with only playing 17 games and scoring 4 points all together.  My lucky charm of eating 2 pounds of chicken and drinking a liter of chocolate milk the day before a game has not let me down yet.

He may have had arguably the most successful career of the quartet, with a rare MVP win as a defenceman, but Guntis Petenis only cracked the single-season PIM record list once, remarkably in that MVP season with a whopping 305 PIM in S54. 2. How many teams did the VHL have in S1? (Credit and 1 uncapped TPE to @Spence King)
Eight teams - Calgary, Toronto, Seattle, Hamilton, Amstel, Helsinki, Stockholm, and Vasteras joined the VHL in S1 and apart from a few relocations and rebrands remained the same until the end of S30. We returned to eight teams after contraction in S57 until Moscow came into the league in S65 and I don't think we'll be going back to eight again.

Dakota Lamb

Dakota Lamb is a speedy two-way centre born in Niagara, Ontario, Canada. He is the son of former Edmonton Oilers C Mark Lamb, who won a Stanley Cup in 1990. He has grown up his whole life playing mainly hockey, beginning with the Pelham Panthers. He also played baseball and ball hockey, however ice hockey was always his main passion. 
 
His whole career has taken place in southern Ontario. He dominated as a child and with his high school, which led to him being drafted by the OHL's Niagara IceDogs at age 16. He was not a high pick, however climbed up the depth chart and quickly became a swiss army knife "do it all" type of player. He can quarterback a Powerplay, deflect pucks in front of the net, kill Penalties, play a shutdown C role, or, in his most comfortable spot, be the scoring C you need to get your team a goal. With the IceDogs, he improved every season, scoring more goals and points as each season progressed. His OHL career was capped off with a J. Ross Robertson Cup (OHL Champions) followed by a Memorial Cup win. (CHL Champions)
 

 
After he had done everything you can do in the OHL, he considered his options. There was European leagues that were offering for his services; however Lamb had a conversation with his close family and friends, and he then decided that he did not want to leave North America. There was the NCAA that was offering, as well as his local USports teams, even his hometown Brock University Badgers. This offer was super enticing, however he went against all of his offers and declared for the VHLM draft. 

His agent told him that no VHLM team would be interested in him, and this is the worst career move that Lamb could've made. But Lamb loves to hear criticism like that. He took what his agent said, and got to the grind, skating, working out, becoming the best version of himself before the draft. And oh boy, did it pay off. In the 4th round, 49th overall in the S72 VHLM draft, the Miami Marauders took a shot on the kid from small town southern Ontario, and he could not have been happier. The Marauders had just taken Lamb's close friend Oh Sens, a RW from Japan, who he had met in Juniors, and now he had a chance to play on the same line as him. 
 
Lamb knew he was not going to be a high pick, but the doubters always fuel him. The more people think he can't succeed, he goes out and tries harder and harder. 

In his first VHLM game, Dakota Lamb scored his 1st goal, a moment he will never forget. He is looking forward to helping the expansion Marauders succeed and grow, and hopefully bring a championship to Miami sooner rather than later. We will see what lies ahead for this youngster's career.

The VHL is a tough place to make it. Thankfully, the Reaper organization can offer you all the time, attention, and care you need to grow Chicken Wing into a legend. You'll also get a ton of ice time on the Reapers! Our roster is not as full as many other teams, meaning less people to take ice time away from you!
