  1. 1. I think if we can keep the ball rolling, we will do well in playoffs. We just have to stay focused. 2. I think my player did alright. Nothing special, unfortunately. 3. I hope we win the Founders Cup. For runner-up, I'd have to say Saskatoon. 4. I have! I just went to a Vegas Golden Knights game back in March. I've been to a few Isles games too. 5. Halo 3. That was my jam every day after school. 6. I think our key to success was staying together as a team. We have a great group of players and just sticking with it really pays off.

  3. 1. Yes! It has been crazy. I didn't think my Islanders would get in, but then we clinched 3rd in the metro! Insane!!! 2. I enjoy watching Jason Belmonte bowl. Just watching how calm and collected he is while under a lot of pressure is inspiring. 3. I think it is great! We need some more firepower and it will work out in our favor. 4. I think my answer would be no with how well the team has been doing. I believe messing up the chemistry would be detrimental. 5. This is an odd question, but I'd probably go with Mario saying, "Let's a-go!". It'd be a funny thing to hear in a serious game. 6. I've tried to recruit people but my immediate circle isn't into hockey and I don't think they would want to do this type of work every week. Sorry
  4. Game 115: Another night for hockey in Miami as they welcome the Saskatoon Wild into town. Miami is looking to bounce back at home after their loss to the Mississauga Hounds and the Saskatoon Wild are looking to build some momentum after getting the victory at home versus Mexico City. Miami has not had the greatest record so far this season, so they are looking to keep up with the pack and get a big 2 points at home. They would get the fans rocking early on the powerplay with Mathias Gunnarsson getting their 2nd goal this season. 7 minutes later the Wild would tie things up with Jacob Longstreet's 10th goal of the season. Shots were 9 to 9 in the first period. The second period is where Miami starts to collapse just like against the Hounds. They would concede 2 goals by Bollos de Trueno's 3rd goal and Oliver Loo's 18th goal respectively. That goal would put Loo in the top 2 in goals scored this season. The Wild are very happy with their growth this season. Both goals would come on the powerplay as well, so some undisciplined hockey from the Marauders. In the third period, the Marauders would try to get the comeback going by scoring a shorthanded goal by Aiden Paige. That would be Paige's 12th goal of the season. This would hype up the crowd early in the third. Leon Bruhmaninho's 13th goal would quiet the crowd and the comeback with less than 2 minutes left in the game. With that goal, Dakota Nachbaur would pick up their second assist this evening. This would be the first of 2 back to back games for these teams as they will face off later this week in a rematch. The Marauders will look for revenge against the Wild.
  5. Game 114: In a stacked Western Conference, every point matters. This is the case for the Houston Bulls as they look to get crucial 2 points against Eastern Conference Halifax 21st, while the Halifax 21st is looking to catch up to the Ottawa Lynx in the standings. The 21st is looking to get the crowd going early at home, but an early diving penalty quickly takes the wind out of that sail. The Bulls cash in on that powerplay by Filip Zinek, their 14th goal of the season. It has been an incredible season so far for Zinek and that goal puts them in the top 5 goals in the league. A few minutes later, Wladyslaw Mintus scores their 3 goal of the season for Houston. It's also Charlie klepacki's 2nd assist on the night. Houston would be outshot 8 to 5 in the 1st period, but scoring 2 goals on Jon Webber III. After that eventful 1st period, the 2nd and 3rd periods went quiet for both teams. They both went into a defensive stance as both goalies stood strong. Unfortunately for the 21st, their time ran out on getting a goal in the evening as they got shut out at home by Herald Benson. Benson would stop all 26 shots to be the night's first star of the game. Houston will go home with a solid 2 points while Halifax continue their homestand with a game against the Ottawa Lynx.
  6. 1. I feel good about the season so far! I think my player is very hot and cold. It's very strange. He will be scoring a bunch and then just go cold and be off the score sheet. 2. I spend too much time on discord, so discord. I mainly check the forum for content. 3. I love pretzels. Pretzel nuggets with peanut butter is S+ tier. 4. I want to get my Defense or Skating up next after getting my PS up. PS seems to be working well on the shootouts so far! 5. Probably NANANANANANA by My Chemical Romance. I feel like it would be fitting. 6. Founders Cup easily. You don't get remembered for an individual trophy, you get remembered for winning a cup.
  7. Trading so early in the season is weird.
  8. Game 4: Banner raising night for the Philadelphia Reapers! An emotional moment for all the Reapers player after a dominating playoff run. They look to start their season off with a win to begin their repeat bid. The Houston Bulls are looking to start off the season with a win against the Champs to send a message to the rest of the league. A quiet start in the first period as both goalies stood tall. The party didn't start until the 2nd period. Unfortunately the party wasn't for the Reapers as they hoped. Hulk Smash started the party for Houston with the first goal just 19 seconds into the 2nd period. Not to be outdone by their teammate, Filip Zinek, scored 6 minutes later to join in the fun for Houston. Enn Jinn tried to spoil the party scoring 18 mins into the period. Spoiling the party it did not. Filip Zinek completes the hat trick with 2 goals in the 3rd period with a goal at 8 minutes and then sealing it at 19 minutes. Houston completes the party with a 4-1 victory over the Reapers.
  9. Game 2: Viva Las Vegas! It's opening day in Las Vegas as the visiting mississauga hounds looks to play spoiler. But it didn't take long for the good times to start rolling in Vegas as Masa Akimoto scores in the first 2 minutes of the game. That was the only goal scored of the first period. It was a goalie battle in the second period as both goalies stopped all shots in front of them. The third period is where things started to open up. Pombo got the Vegas crowd roaring as they double their lead just 20 seconds into the period on the powerplay. 6 minutes later Trevon Rider scored another goal for Vegas. The team was buzzing. Unfortunately, the shutout bid was ended when C2 scored just 2 minutes later. That would be their only goal as Pombo scored later on for their 2nd goal of the game. The final score being 4-1 Aces.
  10. 1. I'd say our goalie has the best name on the team. Hugo Boss. It's intimidating and tough sounding. Final boss energy. 2. I'm trying to build a shoot first player. Sort of like a sniper build and a finisher. Essentially a powerplay quarterback. 3. Honestly both have their perks. The old one was more rigid and fierce. It was very flat though. It'd probably look great on a shoulder as an alternative logo. The new is very defined and detailed. It doesn't have that fierce / intimidating factor though. I would say if it was showing teeth it would be better. 4. Right now, it sucks that I have to hot the welfare button. Working full time in the office is really draining. Especially IT work. I hope to hit that creative juice again and earn all 12 again. For now, I'll do my best to earn as much as possible. I guess that's why I wasn't taken in the early rounds. 5. I think the nature of sths it will always be assists first. The dream would be goals first. I think my player will settle into a 80 ~ 90 point season. 6. I don't mind it. I like it as I usually check forum content so this will be a nice reminder to do it.
  11. 1. We have a good chance of doing some damage this season. It'll be nice to be on a new team as well. 2. I'm shocked at how far down I went in the draft. I guess it was that deep this year. 3. I'm very excited to get started. It's nice to be in the VHLM again. 4. I think it'll be one of the higher-ranked people on the team. Or a returning vet. 5. I'm a vet so I'm getting back in the swing of things. It's weird being in the VHLM again. 6. I think it would be Bo Horvat. He's a great player and would represent me perfectly.
  12. 1. I think we can get it to game 7 and make a run. Unfortunately, our run was cut short. 2. I think we all did well, but we weren't the better team in the end. 3. It would have been very close. We have a good squad that could have done some damage. 4. Right now, I'm going to be working on myself to get ready for the VHLM draft. 5. The perfect pizza is plain. I said it. 6. Of course. Sometimes the simple questions are the best.
  13. 1. This is gonna be an intense series. A lot of history between these two teams. I'm confident that we can get the series win though. 2. Right now my player is playing like I expected. I'm still fresh to the team so I'm not at my peak performance yet. 3. I think a good name would be the Mexico City Coliseum. That way our fans could give thumbs down to the opposing team. 4. Defense wins games. Clutch goals will be needed, but our D-core can do it. 5. I've bowled in 2 out of state bowling tournaments and have medaled in one of the 3 pairs so far. I'm trying to go 3 for 3 this weekend. 6. Being able to hang out with friends and do things I never thought I could. For example, I'm going to a bowling tournament this weekend and I'm excited to see old friends!
  14. "Alright kid, it's your time to shine. I'm putting you on the third line with the other new guys. This is your chance to do great things for this team. Don't let us down." - Mexico City Kings GM before Wally's first game. Wally Lose gets set to take the ice before his first-ever VHLM game. This is also the first time in a long time since someone from the Lose family has stepped foot on VHLM ice. Wally knows he has big shoes to fill. Wally Lose is the grandchild of professional VHL star, Justin Lose. He follows in his footsteps by signing with his grandpa's old team, Mexico City Kings, which Justin spent 1 season with before getting called to the Riga Reign. That was 17 seasons ago though. "It's very nerve-wracking. I'm trying to make my name in this league, not just because my last name is Lose." - Wally on being compared to Justin. What will this season bring to Wally? Will he follow in his Grandpa's footsteps and lead the Kings to a deep playoff push?
  15. 1. I think we are doing very well all things considered. I think we can move up and stay up with our core. 2. Very important. Our defense and goalies have been rockstars right now. I can't wait to work with them in the season. 3. It seems that the Reapers are still our rivals. They are a great team. But to be the best you have to beat the best. 4. I play a lot of games online. I'm currently playing Smite and Minecraft (very different I know). I'm also crocheting some projects. 5. I'm going to be in the VHLM draft pool which will be exciting. This is the first time since my grandpa was drafted in the family. (Justin Lose). 6. That's a very odd question. I'd be a tater tot. They are small and delicious.
