Mexico City Kings Press Conference
youloser1337 replied to Nykonax's topic in Team Press Conferences
1. I think we are doing very well all things considered. I think we can move up and stay up with our core. 2. Very important. Our defense and goalies have been rockstars right now. I can't wait to work with them in the season. 3. It seems that the Reapers are still our rivals. They are a great team. But to be the best you have to beat the best. 4. I play a lot of games online. I'm currently playing Smite and Minecraft (very different I know). I'm also crocheting some projects. 5. I'm going to be in the VHLM draft pool which will be exciting. This is the first time since my grandpa was drafted in the family. (Justin Lose). 6. That's a very odd question. I'd be a tater tot. They are small and delicious. -

68. It's crazy how my mentors are basically retiring. I hope we can make a great playoff run to send them off well. 72. Shake Shack is great. The fries and shakes are next level. 73. Mcdonald's easily. I always got sick after eating it. 74. A good player is someone who can be great on both ends of the ice. We can't be one-dimensional players anymore. 75. After a loss is always rough. I always try to watch the tape and see where we went wrong. I always stride to push myself harder after a loss to be better. 76. As we get closer to the start of the playoffs, I can already get excited about the high level of play. Regular season is nothing compared to playoff hockey and I'm ready for it.

(Don't worry, @Jason kranz will be back moving forward) This is just a one-time thing while he is away for the weekend and he asked me to start this up. How it works: Scoring System (Max points = 135) Correctly pick the series winner = 10 points Correctly choose series length (regardless of winner) = 5 points *Tiebreaker in the finals will be goals scored which also accounts for 15 points* Payout! Predict the cup winners (VHL = 2 / VHLE = 1 / VHLM = 1) = 4 TPE 1st Place = 6 TPE 2nd - 3rd = 5 TPE 4th - 5th = 4 TPE 6th - 10th = 3 TPE 11th - 20th = 2 TPE 21+ = 1 TPE Let's do that hockey! Responses The form closes on Day 2 of VHL sims, which will be Monday at 6 pm ET or when sims start. Whichever comes first. (back into hiding I go)

It’s been a crazy season for the Seattle Bears. At the start of the season, a Victory Cup wasn’t in the cards. Closing out the season with 11 wins in a row, the Seattle Bears fall short of the Victory Cup by 2 points to the Moscow Menace. “The Victory Cup isn’t what we are chasing. We wanted to get a good position in the playoffs,” exclaimed Scoish Velociraptor Maloish. Maloish talked to the media after the 11th Bears win and final game of the regular season. “The group pulled together after a rocky start to the season. We worked together as a team. I’m excited to see where this group goes in the playoffs. Last season I was with the Los Angeles Stars and getting set up for the play-in stage. Being traded to Seattle was a great move in the long run. It helped out both teams. I hope we can taste a deep playoff run this season.” With the end of the regular season, Maloish has had a career year with the Seattle Bears. This is the 2nd time being traded and the 2nd time that he improved after being traded. Going from 23 points in his rookie campaign with Calgary to 56 points with Los Angeles. Now he is going from 75 points with the Stars to 81 points with Seattle. We tried to get a comment on this interesting stat. “I think a new environment is great for me. It happened with Calgary and Los Angeles and now with Los Angeles and Seattle. The move was very easy and my teammates made me feel at home here. I was very excited to get the season started.” When we last left off with Maloish, he was just traded to Seattle. He was just getting started and trying to fit in. Now, he is enjoying life in Seattle. We asked him how it was going in Seattle. “When I first got to Seattle I didn’t know much about the area. Luckily I was able to find a good apartment. I never really explored the area whenever we would visit Seattle. Usually, it was just getting to the hotel, the practice rink, and then the arena. It was nice to explore on my first day. During the season I decided to get a house here. I am really committed to staying here and I hope the same can be said with management. I know it wasn’t the best start for me, but I feel like I stepped up. I got to showcase my talents on the powerplay as well, which is something my scouts really hyped up.” Maloish was really for the challenge this season with his career-best 81 points. This includes a new high of 26 goals and 55 assists. It seems that he is slowly transitioning from a defensive defenseman to an offensive defenseman. A big part of that is being a quarterback for the powerplay. 32 points of his 81 were from the man advantage with 15 goals and 17 assists.

60. I'm gonna go for the cheesy answer and say all of the inactive players from when I was Mexico City GM. It's always sad when someone comes in ready to go, to only fizzle out and go inactive. I've tried a few times to no luck getting people back. 61. My player has a fear of clowns. Will not even be in the same room as one. 63. I heard it's a phone that's basically the same every year but with minor hardware improvements while increasing the price. Oh wait... 64. I heard that the Bears bedsheets were selling nicely. I heard that it's because of a meme.... don't know 66. My biggest fear growing up was roller coasters. The plot twist is that I loved roller coaster tycoon and wanted to be a designer. Don't worry, I love them now. 67. It's a patch that gives me electrolytes while I'm playing. That way I don't get tired as fast.

36. It's like a breath of fresh air. It's very lovely to be playing as a team right now. Everyone is filling their role perfectly. 37. I've seen him eat fish sticks and toast. It's very bizarre and stinky. 38. Big Bear Burger. It's a Big Mac, McChicken, and Fish Fillet all in one mega burger for how we Bears eat the competition. 39. Bearly Running. It's black coffee with 3 shots of espresso. 40. My player likes to chill after practice. You can see him hanging out with teammates or relaxing at the hotel. Maybe even crocheting. 41. Things are alright—just a lot going on at work. But I'm surviving.
