I don't think the cash was the problem with brands it was the whole overall concept.

I still think this runs into the same problem of all the effort being put into it not being worth how little people car about it

1) Being in the playoff mix once again but with an improved goalie this team. Playoffs means I can trash talk 2) I love it because I was really questioning Beavis moves in just wasting a season with a sucky goalie - you are either all in or rebuilding and there is no reason to be in between 3) Everyone seems quite active so far and willing to take on whatever role necessary for team success 4) Personally for Gritty I want him to start putting up low tier 1st liner points as he continues to develop. For the squad winning the cup of course 5) You know how sometimes your pee is blue? It's like that 6) Don't be frustrated by a bad first year. Players with the lowest tpe on good teams don't put up many points because they top players hog it all

Generally, growth and lots of recruits is a good thing, but what happens if the VHL population grows too fast and the league is not able to keep up with it? Let's look at an ecosystem for example. Let's say a forest originally started with only 10 deer, that means the deer population is in danger as there are very few who can reproduce and carry on the family line. However, great news, the forest now has grown to 50 deer, which means the forest is a healthy and stable population of deer. There are enough deer to continue to reproduce with modest growth, but there is still plenty of food and water to go around for the deer. Now let's pretend the forest houses 200 deer. Now there is fierce competition for resources, and every deer winds up either starving or dead, and starving deer produce less healthy babies. Now the entire deer population is screwed over because it grew too fast, and they are back down to 10 deer who aren't even healthy. This could be the VHL. We currently are at 3 lines of forwards on every team. There could be a mass revolution where people are starving for minutes, and must either leave the forest (join a different sim league) or die (break their internet wire and rage quit).

Hey Delta, first off welcome to the league we are excited to have you! I would suggest waiting a bit before you accept a contract, as lots of teams will be offering you one and some may be better fits than others. If in the end you want to sign with Halifax that is great, but I think you should give it some time to hear some GMs and teams out.
