The reason it looks like teams have so many players is cause they just are filled with a lot of old 0 tpe or low tpe players who don't even play. I believe they put it in place to discourage recreates from staying down another year and tearing things up by having 300 tpe while new active players have 50 tpe and don't have a great opportunity. From a strategical standpoint, I don't like the new rule as a GM cause I can't have a potential 250 tpe goalie and such this season, but from the point above I think it's solid reasoning.

Or, you could make a player like normal and be on the my team for life. These both sound like glorious opportunities to me. Noobies or recreates, doesn't everyone love to feel wanted? Well if you want to feel wanted, create a defenseman! There is a severe lack of defensemen in the VHLM this season with a lot of forwards and goalies. You will literally have teams fighting over you on the waiver wire if you create a defenseman. Also, you will probably also be wanted later on down the road in the VHL, as few defensemen in the VHLM now means there will be less of them in the VHL. Of course, you'll be wanted no matter what position you play, so I don't want to deter you from that :3 It's just you'll be extra loved if you create a defenseman. Don Draper is a bad defenseman cause he takes too many penalties, so if you wish to fill his shoes in Helstinky create as a defenseman. How do you pronounce Romans Eat Donuts name?
