While the picks are nice, it's a clear major downgrade to go from around 1100 tpa to 600 something tpa, pretty much putting this season to waste. Having only one star forward on the entire team is not going to cut it. I am hoping an additional trade is coming, otherwise Beaviss has doomed this team to just wasting this season being mediocre when he promised something else to two players who signed with him on the last year of their contract Vancouver has 3M left in cap space, and a team is not truly competing for a cup unless their cap space is fully used. Otherwise they are just doing their team a disservice by handicapping them compared to other teams

At minimum we could do another drive at xmas and if the VHL cant afford to match another drive that is fair, but members can still donate under a cause. This is a great tradition we are starting

After Vancouver decided to trade away one of the two only good forwards on the team, Gritty became angry, and decided to take out his anger by rerolling his practice hours and giving himself 99 hitting. When asked for comment he said, "When me and Smitty signed with Vancouver for our very last season, we did it in good faith that the team would actually be competing. Now that Beaviss has gone into a full blown rebuild despite being in the playoff race, I have decided to give myself 99 hitting. If the team isn't making the playoffs I may as well make the opposition fear me the rest of the season." If Beavis's strategy was to lie to us so he could trade us for draft picks later in the season, I wish him good luck in trading away a forward with 99 checking and 99 fighting. Goon Gritty out. 1) By being positive of course! 2) As long as we project to make the playoffs I am all in on Vancouver, as that is what we signed up for. If we are not projected for the playoffs, I think it makes sense to trade the guys on their last season,, because that makes sense for both sides. 3) Oh I wasn't even aware I got moved up to the first line lol.
