Press Conference questions for week ending 11/15. Answer all 6 and claim for 2 TPE!

    1) Big Announcement within the VHLM of the new Junior System for overflow players, what are your thoughts on the new “expansion” to the Minors?

    2) This is offseason week, both VHL and VHLM drafts have passed and with last seasons influx of recruits the Reapers are starting the season with 12 Forwards 5 D and 2 G for almost a full 4 lines. This means Ice time is going to change a lot for most players and how does this make you feel?

     3) What role do you see yourself playing for the S75 Reapers Squad?

     4) If there’s one thing everyone in Philadelphia needs to know about you what is it?

5)What are your personal goals as an individual any milestones in particular you’re looking to reach?

6)Where do you see the Reapers sitting right now in the VHLM Power ranking and how do you feel after your draft weekend experience?

It's a great idea, I will help the league keep undrafted players and not let any new players without a home go to waste.

I know that I'm not going to play as much probably but this is only my second season (first official) and I need to learn before I play lots of minutes.

    Key defenseman

    I like to hit

Succeed within the league and win the cup

I see the reapers as being a top team this year.

Press Conference questions for week ending 11/8. Answer all 6 and claim for 2 TPE!

    1)      The offseason allows a lot of time to work on your skills. What skill are you focusing on improving this offseason?

    2)      Miami vs. Mississauga in the VHLM finals. Who do you think will win? Are you watching the games?

    3)      Helsinki vs. Vancouver in the VHL finals. Who do you think will win? Are you watching the games?

    4)      What show(s) are you watching on TV during the offseason?

    5)      Say you’re drafted into the Ultimate Sports Fighting league. A cage-match fighting league between players of different sports. Each fighter is allowed to bring one item from their sport into the cage with them. What item are you brining? Why?

    6)      What sport would you not want to face off against in the cage? Why?

Working on my playmaking ability and hitting more.

I think Miami for sure, besides who doesn't like a cinderella story, and I'm paying very close attention to their games.

I think it's tied so far but I think Helsinki will win, I'm not watching them too much though.

A new Netflix series called "The Queen's Gambit" it's about this girl prodigy chess player from like the 1960's

    Gatorade. gives me energy.

Like a Karate match since I would get destroyed in the ring.

    1)      The Reapers finished in 9th place, missing the playoffs by 3 points. What are your thoughts on the team’s performance this season?

    2)      What are your thoughts on your individual performance this season?

    3)      The offseason has begun, are you staying in Philly or going somewhere else? Why?

    4)      During the offseason, you won’t be under the watchful eye of the Reaper’s dietary team. What item are you most excited about eating?

    5)      The Reapers fan club had a gift placed at your locker on clean out day. What did they get you?

    6)      At this very moment, the zombie apocalypse starts. What are you doing or where are you going next?

It was close, the team picked it up towards the end but couldn't pull through when it mattered and that's why Miami might upset one of the most favored teams in the tournament.

For the limited number of games I played I would consider my performance very much adequate

I would love to stay in philly but where I'm at in the draft will determine it all

Anything that counts as a cheat food

A poster of Tom Wilson since I play so much like him

Sleeping and going to Walmart or something to find a gun

New question for week ending 10/25, answer all 6 and claim for 2 TPE:

    1)      Two games remain in the season. Philly sits in the final playoff spot with a 1-point lead over Miami, who has a game in hand. Who’s making the playoffs?

    2)      Defensemen Bob Tristan and Shawn Andrei Zyuzin got 1st stars in recent games. Why do you think we’ve had an increase in points from our defense?

    3)      Forward Justin Lose leads the team with 0.88 points per 20 minutes played. Why is he able to score so consistently?

    4)      Do you prefer to play home games or away games? How come?

    5)      The Reapers recently installed a “rage room”, a room where you can just go crazy and smash and break stuff when you need to release some built-up rage. What item(s) do you like breaking the most?

    6)      It’s Halloween soon, you get to request one type of candy to get added to the locker room candy stash. What are you asking for? Why?

    Philly without a doubt.

They bring a lot of talent to the team and it was a great move by their GM to pick them up

He is insanely skilled and should be in the big leagues with those stats

Home because the fans will hardly ever boo you

    Windows, so much fun

Hot Tamales, by far the most underrated halloween candy.

New questions for Week ending 10/18. Answer all 6 and claim for 2 TPE.

    1)      The trade deadline has passed. How does the roster look to you?

    2)      A full roster means less ice time for everyone. What are your thoughts on your current ice time?

    3)      Newly acquired defenseman Bob Tristan (@n0hbody) has shown he’s able to find the net extremely efficiently, scoring on 66% of shots taken so far. Why do you think his shooting % is so high?

    4)      Recently signed defenseman Roman Grachev (@humiller) excels at blocking shots, leading all new waiver signees with 17 shots blocked. What does it say about him as a player to block so many shots?

    5)      The VHL regular season is heating up and looks like it will go right down to the end. Do you pay attention to the VHL? Why or why not?

    6)      You get a 1 hour lesson with any NHL player on a single skill. Who are you picking and what are you working on? Why?

The roster looks good for what the team could claim off of waivers

I'm pleased with my ice time, im getting points and that's really all I could ask for

I've just got that natural scoring talent LOL

It's something he's really good at and will probably advance his career with that ability

I don't really pay attention to it since im not apart of it, it doesn't affect me, even though it is the higher league I just don't pay attention unless there's something worth paying attention for.

Kris Letang because he has a good sense of defense and being able to score.

The current state of the Houston Bulls organization is questionable but promising for the near future. Current GM of the Houston Bulls was given this team two seasons ago in poor condition and has brought with him a promising future for the VHML organization. In my first ever article we will be covering the Houston Bulls, the current GM’s thoughts, and other GM’s thoughts on the organization.

When asked about the current situation of the team’s AGM position rjfryman replied saying “Well as of right now I have been through a round or two of questions with most of the applicants and I have it narrowed down to 3 at the moment. Each with their own strengths and weakness, but all three being amazing and wonderful people.” This comes as a good sign for the fans outside of the organization as the Houston Bulls have been without an AGM for some time in this frustrating season so far. There is no given or specified time for when the next AGM for the Houston Bulls will be announced but we hope it we be very soon!

I asked him about his thoughts on his season so far and what he hopes for the future of the team, to which he replied “I was given the Houston Bulls 2 seasons ago. This season I didn't have many picks from deals made by the previous GM so I sold any asset I could for future picks. That being said who knows if my theory will work but I'm hoping that by selling picks to get more assets like for example 'trading the 1st overall for a late 1st and late second' yes I would be trading away a guaranteed star for the possibility of a couple good players I think with the way I draft and evaluate player I can create teams that are based around the idea of always having 2 seasons out of every player I draft. I expect from next season on to be in the playoff race every season until the team no longer belongs to me.” The Houston Bulls have 12 draft picks for the coming up S75 Dispersal Draft and 10 draft picks for the S76 Dispersal Draft.

I asked other VHLM GM’s on their thoughts on the Houston Bulls and was given a reply by Philadelphia Reapers GM DMaximus saying “It's pretty difficult to build a team when you have no picks. I think he's done as good as a job as possible given the hand he was dealt. He's really stepped up here, adding a lot of players to his roster in the recent weeks. I think if you look at HOU's future, they have a lot of picks in the next 2 seasons and should do very well. A bad season primarily not of his own doing is not a reflection of rj as a GM in my opinion. I think he's demonstrated he does his homework and I think he'll experience great success in this league.” Reapers GM DMaximus also added “I went a long time without an AGM, so I have no problem with him not currently having an AGM. It can be a big strain on a GM to train an AGM and bring them up to speed, so you need to be prepared as a GM to take on an AGM. I think a GM needs to be comfortable in their position before taking on an AGM. Seems like rj has reached that point.”

The Houston Bulls currently have about 3/4 the maximum number of players they may have lister on their roster. Rjfryman stating early Thursday, October 8th “Every position in the lineup is up for grabs. If you out earn someone I have zero problem giving you more ice time. If you join us and learn I would love to have you. If you are interested in joining us simply message us and say you want to join the Houston Bulls.”

Thank you to the Philadelphia Reapers Organization 2LqwM3o.png and their GM (DMaximus) for their input given for the article, The Houston Bulls Organization image.thumb.png.397605c80bd7039cba94434d29576c6f.pngand GM (Rjfryman) for insight on their team and hopes for the future. (679 words)

New questions for week ending 10/11. Answer all 6 and claim for 2 TPE.

    1)      The locker room is a sacred place for players. Many locker rooms have their own unwritten rules. What is your #1 rule to follow for locker room etiquette?

    2)      We have a lot of new players on the Reaper roster. How has the influx of new people affected practice?

    3)      Our goalie, Jacob Carson, is 3rd in the league with 5 shutouts. Including recently recording 3 consecutive shutouts! Why do you think we’ve been able to get so many shutouts?

    4)      Reaper defenseman Richard Fitzwell is leading the league in hits and 4 Reapers occupy the top 6 spots in hits. What does that say about the Reaper style of hockey?

    5)      Fitzwell is also leading the league in penalty minutes. Any advice for him to lower his time in the box?

    6)      You can select one everyday location, that is not a normal ice rink, to hold a hockey game, (think something like a grocery store, or a mall, or a movie theater…) what location are you choosing for a game? Why?

Don't step on the logo, AT ALL.

Slows down the process of gettin W's but once everybody starts to get along and work together they'll start coming.

Our great defensive play and keeping the shots simple for him to stop.

Very physical team and others should keep their heads up against us.

Stay disciplined or change how you play.

Lake Minnetonka, there is lots of history with hockey around there and the community would love it.

Welcome to the VHL @N0HBDY! Thank you for creating a player and joining this awesome league. As a newly created player, you can choose to play for any minor league team who offers you a spot. Take your time, consider your offers, and pick the team that's best for you.

The VHL is a forum-based hockey simulation league where you complete weekly tasks to earn attribute points. Apply your attribute points to improve your player and make a hockey legend! To become a legend, it requires consistent dedication and hard work on your part. If that’s something you can provide, we have a spot for you on the Philadelphia Reapers. If you’re a slacker who accepts mediocrity, find another team to play for.

I'm the GM of the Philadelphia Reapers. We have a good team this season, looking to continue our steak of 5 consecutive playoff appearances. We have a fun Discord locker room consisting of both experienced and new players. This means you'll have a helpful, strong support system motivated to help Bob Tristan succeed.

If you have any questions about anything, ask me in Discord (DMaximus#1871), message me here (@DMaximus), or reach out to my AGM @Spence King / Selsby28#2242 (Discord).

We'd love to have you on the team, if you wish to join the Philadelphia Reapers quote this post and say "Fear the Reaper"
