Game 294: D.C. Dragons vs. L.A. Stars An incredible tilt with the struggling Dragons in Los Angeles to take on the Stars. LA were the clear favourites in the matchup but absolutely folded at home. Both teams opted to start their backups this game, which is strange given they are conference rivals. It was all Dragons from the start with Jason and Mark Callaway scoring in the 1st period. Keegan Gamble was the lone scorer in the second for D.C., and the Stars finally got on the board with a power play in the 3rd but it was far too late. The Frenchman closed things out with another dagger at 5:55. A huge win for the Dragons and a disappointing display by the Stars infant of their own fans!

@Members As you may have noticed from the TPE bans that have been handed out recently, AI use in point tasks is becoming a bit of an issue. I would just like to remind you all that using these tools in an attempt to earn TPE is against the VHL Code of Conduct, as stated below: Our lovely crew of updaters will also be taking this matter more seriously, and will begin to use detection tools before approving submissions. This goes for both AI generated media spot content AND graphics. Thank you all for understanding, I know AI tech is moving at an exponential rate and is an amazing resource, however maintaining the integrity of the league and an even playing field for all members is paramount.

1. Hoping Chicago crashes and burns soon but they've been on quite the convincing run. Sadly I think our slow start keeps us behind LA. 2. I think our defence has tightened up a bit in front of Joel and bounces having been as unlucky as they were for the majority of last season in extra time. 3. Callahan has been sensational! I believe his ceiling is quite high so it'll be fun to watch him develop more as the season goes on. Machado and Fitzroy are killing it too, Machado had a really hot start and is holding it down on that 2nd line with Sogaard. Fitzroy still being fairly young and inexperienced is clear but he has been holding his own in the majors. 4. Josh Vestiquan's Seattle Bears jersey. 5. Old man Sogaard can for sure take a nice little run at the Boulet this year! 6. Every Canucks VS Oilers game has been a delight to watch so far.

Recruitment Suggestions - Open to Everyone
v.2 replied to Subject056's topic in Suggestions and Complaints
When was the last time an email campaign was sent out to old members in an attempt to bring back inactives? I believe this is one of the things that always got me and Kelvi to check back in with the league over the years. -
Unrelated to the recent issue that went to mods I think it is definitely necessary to have someone who can give a final say on whether something is “worthy” if it becomes flagged or controversial. Also someone that can recognize that for both written pieces and graphics.

Toronto, ON, - The Legion sit among the bottom 4 teams in the league through the first 8 games of the season. Fans and media have already begun raising questions around the club and their poor start to what was expected to be another great season. While the club remains young, the core that was drafted at the start of the rebuild nearly 6 seasons ago have matured and are entering prime roles. After a terrible loss to the New York Americans, fans on twitter were fuming and not afraid to raise some tough points. Why is Atlas playing the wing? Wasn't he drafted as a star "saviour" centerman? Why is a young rookie playing on the top D pairing? Why aren't Atlas and Jaks driving their own lines? Why did management decide to call up THREE rookies to start the season while looking to remain competitive? How is it possible for a team with a top 3 powerplay to be losing so many games? Does Joel Castle have a nagging injury? Anger surrounds the club early on, which is not great for team morale. Management are being questioned on all fronts, and hope a slight line juggle might wake their squad up a bit over the course of the next few games. Time will tell whether this is just a bumpy start to the season or if the Legion aren't the team VSN predicted them to be at the #1 best team in the east.

The Toronto Legion are a refocused group after the disappointing playoff series loss to the LA Stars. Lost to retirement are legendary players Ronan Lavelle and Siyan Yasilivech. In up front are two great rookie callups who spent last season in the E honing their skills, in Diego Machado and Harry Callahan. On the back end we have another young player in Walter Fitzroy Jr, who will play bottom 4 minutes but has a lot of potential to develop into something great. Dens Oden, during their last season has opted to finish out with the club and help on the back end where his veteran presence will surely be useful. No big trades or signings required for the Legion! Everything was kept in house. The roster is set to look something like this: Atlas - Jaks - Burns Sogaard - Machado - Callahan Bob - Oden MacElroy - Fitzroy Jr Castle Bihler The Legion look poised to make another playoff run again this upcoming season. Go Legion Go!
