Had a pretty solid rookie season, if you don’t know who my player is click me. Bubbles finished his first regular season for the Los Angeles Stars who unfortunately missed out on clinching a playoff spot due to a terrible back half of the season. The light at the end of the tunnel though was Bubbles’ individual performance. 1st in Rookie Points (79) T-6th Defensemen Points (79) T-10th Assists (59) 9th Shots Blocked (160) T-9th Powerplay Points (29) In my eyes these are really good top 10s to be apart of. You can argue that I was top 10 in shots blocked because LA sucked, which we did and I was even third in shots blocked on the team with only three defenders. You can argue that there wasn’t much competition throughout the team for points with an underdeveloped roster. Either way, I’m really happy with how Bubbles performed, he’s had the best rookie season of any player I’ve created… and to top things off he’s my first defenseman. It was a lot of fun watching myself and @SMYLS4 battle all season for most points by a rookie. Whoever wins the award I’ll be happy with. In my eyes the only award you should really be itching to win is a Continental Cup and I’m really hoping this LA rebuild can come into full effect after a few more seasons.

We have more prospects moving up and should have a much fuller roster. 6. VHL draft will happen after the playoffs are over. Game 493: Los Angeles Stars vs Chicago Phoenix, 4-3 OTL Although the loss came as a hurt to the team, dropping the Stars’ hopes of a playoff spot even more, there was one good thing to come out of this game. S97 rookie defender Bubbles LaFleur reached the 50 assist milestone in his rookie season. This honestly has been such a surprise for myself, my previous players were both forwards who both had very average rookie seasons while my new defender has been producing points like crazy. Already surpassing both my previous player’s rookie season point totals. Even though Los Angeles is currently an underdeveloped team who will more than likely not make the playoffs this season, Bubbles has been playing a lot of big minutes and has capitalized on that. Through 63 games played, Bubbles has 18g, 50a, 68p in his rookie campaign. This is the first player that I have created where I have the full mindset of “chill earning”. If I want to earn 11/12 capped a week, cool. If I want to earn 7/12 capped a week, cool. This chill mindset has been so much fun and it’s even more fun to see my player doing so well. 2nd in points on the Stars this season, 2nd in points amongst rookies in the league, and 8th in points amongst defenders in the league. I never expected my player to have this good of a solo performance in his first season, I’m really excited about it and I’m really excited to watch this team grow throughout the seasons.

MALMO NIGHTHAWKS PRESS CONFERENCE Week Ending Apr 13 Answer 3 Questions for 1 TPE, or Answer 6 Questions for 2 TPE 1. Well it seems like there’s no hope for Malmo to make the playoffs this season, but the good news is that the future of the team looks extremely bright with the plethora of prospects we have. In your opinion, how many more seasons will it take for Malmo to be a playoff team again? 2. Not making the playoffs sucks, but once the off season hits, your player will have a lot more free time on their hands. What does your player have planned for the off season? Vacation? Seeing family? Taking the extra time to train for next season? 3. Which team would you like to see win the Continental Cup this season? I’d personally love for Helsinki to win since we have a few players from last season that we traded there. 4. The team’s stats as a whole stink this season, but is there any stat your player currently has that you are happy with? 5. Are you following the NHL as their season is coming to a close? Do you have a Stanley Cup prediction? 6. Do you have a favourite NHL player? If not, do you have a favourite athlete from a different sport? 7. Is the snow in your area finally gone? Where I am we are finally starting to see the real season of spring. 8. Are you a coffee drinker? If so, do you prefer it hot or cold? (Hot coffee vs iced coffee)… I drink my coffee black but I love an iced coffee or an iced cap from Tim Hortons. 9. The Malmo Nighthawks’ team bus needs to go to the shop for repairs, we of course need to fly for the North American teams, but for the European teams we will stick to driving. What vehicle do you suggest the team takes instead of our bus? Do we all pull up in a limo? Do we all drive solo Lamborghinis to the next game? 10. Does an apple a day really keep the doctor away?

I honestly don’t think many people would complain about the removal of theme week. In my opinion losing the uncapped 6 TPE for this week does not make a massive difference since in current times players have been able to earn the most TPE ever before. Basically the entire top 25 all time TPE players are S80+… we have enough opportunities to earn.

I waited all week to find motivation for this theme week and ended up just clicking welfare today. Had no interest in it at all.
