Inker Belle yawns as she sits up in bed, a really tired look on her face "I hate thunderstorms I swear" she mumbles as she stretches. If she had any bones, they would have popped at that moment. Davy was already up, playing a game in the living room "hey bro, are you winning?" "Not really" Davy sighs, as the TV shows that he is down 0-3 in the VHL video game "I tried out playing goalie on hard mode on the career mode, and I swear, my teammates feel like they lost a lot of braincells" "Well, it's the hard mode, what did you expect?" Inker shrugs as she sits down next to him "am I in the game yet?" "No, at least not you in your VHL uniform" Davy says as he pauses the game and turns it off "I think I need a break" "Oh come on, don't rage quit on me" Inker smirks "Oh screw off sis, it wasn't even an online match, I think I'll be fine" he sits back down and sips from the coffee on the table "anyways, what's your plan for today?" "I really don't know" Inker shrugs "I think I have a free day, so there's not much that I have to do. I don't know, I might go outside and just draw something" "It has been a while since you've done that" "Yeah I just haven't had the time" Inker says, before stretching again and putting on some shoes "you want to come with me?" "Yeah, I don't have much to do myself" Davy smiles before they both headed out of thier condo "how long before our new house is ready?" "Should be ready pretty soon" Inker says"I think the only issue is just making sure that the ones I am looking at are close enough to the city" "I thought we were gonna get the one inside the city. You know, the one with the big backyard" "It's the neighborhood close by it that I'm worried about. There's been a few robberies reported there. Plus, I think that real estate guy was trying to screw with us on that cost compared to how big the actual house was" "Ehh that's fair" Davy sighs, and the two of them sit down on a bench at the local park with Inker grabbing her notebook and drawing pencils. "At least it's a nice day now. I swear, those thunderstorms felt like they wouldn't end. I'm not sure if I even fell asleep" Inker says as she starts sketching out a rough draft drawing of the park "I was scared that a tornado was gonna come down on us! At least they dry these benches pretty quickly" "You sure about that bro?" Inker says before Davy checks his shorts to find out that they are a bit wet "Ahh dang it!" He pouts "How did you not notice that the benches are wet?" Inker asks as she takes a picture of the park for future reference "What didn't you say anything before?!" "These shorts are water resistant" Inker shrugs, before getting a call from her manager Paul "today? I'm not sure about doing an interview today...yeah tomorrow would be fine!" She says to him before ending the call "if you would Davy, could you please put an interview tomorrow in my reminder?" "Yeah yeah, keep your water proof shorts on" Davy rolls his eyes and smiles a bit before he goes to grab Inker's planner. I kinda lost my idea for this when I was over halfway through, but just decided to finish it off. Hope you enjoyed regardless.

"..Inker gets the puck, moves it around trying to find an opening, save by the goalie...rebound and SCORE! Inker Belle gets her second goal and Toronto goes up 1-0!" The game announcer says as Inker Belle pumps her fist up and cheers before fist bumping her fellow players and heading back to the bench. It has been one amazing first season in the VHL for Inker, and she was having all kinds of fun playing for the first place Toronto Legion. After the game, Inker goes back on the team bus, massaging a slight bruise on her cheek but still feeling great about the 2-1 victory over the Malmo Nighthawks. She was showing off her teeth to a fellow player who was curious about them when her cell phone rang. "Hello Inker, it's your manager Paul" the voice on the other end said "sorry for calling from a weird number, but I kinda dropped my phone in a bathtub. Last time I check my phone while I'm giving my dog a bath!" "Shouldn't you just use the shower head when giving a dog a bath?" Inker said curiously, raising an eyebrow "Nah Buddy is a big golden retriever, we kinda need to give him a big bath. Anyways, I'm calling you from my brother's phone to say that the performance from you in the latest game is why I love representing you!" "Oh well I have to give a lot of credit to my teammates as well, it's not just me!" She smiles "You're pretty humble as well, that's good too! Well the other reason that I am calling you is because we have a few merch sponsorship deals to look through" "Oh? I wasn't sure if I would get sponsorship offers this early" "Well they are all local, but still" Paul shrugs "once you get back in Toronto, we'll look over things and see which ones look good to you, sound good?" "Yeah sure! I'll see you when I get back in Toronto. Oh, and sorry about your phone, do you think you'll be able to get a replacement?" "Oh I'll probably have a replacement by the time you get back, don't worry too much about it" Inker got off the phone after that, and some time later she heads to Paul's office, where she looks over a few offers "you're not feeling the steakhouse sponsorship? Why's that?" "I'm not that big on steaks, and besides i haven't really eaten there before." Inker shrugs "When I get sponsored by something, I want everyone to know that I have tried it before and it is good, you know?" "Yeah I get that" Paul nods, before pointing to a hockey gear sponsorship "don't you use their pads?" "Oh yeah! I use their gear a lot" Inker smiles "that does sound pretty good. We should probably call them about it, much more relevant then a bobblehead sponsorship. I stopped collecting bobbleheads a while ago" "Why did you stop?" "Well my brother had an intervention when he discovered that I almost filled two boxes full of bobbleheads. Kinda glad that he did, it was getting expensive. This was back in the VHLM by the way." "I see! We'll I'll go call the people at Evergame Gear, and we'll go from there, ok?" Paul says as he grabs his new phone "Sounds good!"

"Sis why are we out here?" Davy asks his sister Inker Belle as they drive through the streets of Toronto "it's so cold! Couldn't we have waited until it got a little warmer to do whatever you have to do?" "We can deal with the cold Davy, and it's bothering you so much just turn the heat up!" Davy nods gratefully at his sis as she says that and goes to do just that "besides, I don't get much of an opportunity to go explore places during the season, and I really want to explore this museum. I already got our admission for today and everything!" "Fine fine sis" Davy sighs "hopefully this museum will be worth it" he looks up at the sky to see a few clouds in it "ugh, I really hope that it doesn't snow" "The weather guy said it shouldn't, but I think we both know that blindly trusting the news is a bad idea" Inker shrugs slightly "it's why I told you that it might be a good idea for you to bring your extra big coat" "I should have listened sis, I really should have" Davy sighs as they park near the museum entrance. They get out of their Sudan and join a small crowd that are at the entrance, trying but failing to look unassuming. It's hard when you are an Inkling to look unassuming in a group of humans, but luckily the people seemed to recognize that Inker and Davy wanted to relax so not too many asked for an autograph. A few asked her questions about the latest trades the Toronto Legion made, and she answered them the best way she could. "It's good that the Legion are making so many moves, and I like that we are staying competitive. And yeah, I really do still feel safe on my position, nothing is really worrying me in terms of being traded or anything like that" The tour guide walked up to them soon after Inker said that, and they were led around the museum. Inker started getting in the zone, as learning about human history and biology is one of her favorite past times. "Wow so this is a human skeleton?" She says as she looks at the big model of a skeleton "interesting, we Inklings don't even have any bones" "Wow really?" The tour guide says as he raises an eyebrow "Yeah, we are invertebrates!" Inker smiles, before they were led to a section about the history of warfare, with Inker being particularly interested in a section about the Punic Wars between Rome and Carthage. "It makes you wonder how much of the military strategies showed here would inspire formations in sports like hockey. Heck, now I'm wondering if Hannabal or Scipio would have enjoyed VHL hockey!" "Do you always have hockey on the brain sis?" Davy chuckles "I mean, it's good to always be thinking about what makes you money but we're trying to relax here" "Oh sorry bro" Inker giggles sheepishly as she scratched the back of her head and looked at the display showing the history of the Punic Wars "still, learning about this stuff is way better than working for Grizzco like my dad did"

"...And despite having the most high powdered offense we have seen in a while, the Halifax 21st have unfortunately fallen in the finals-" Inker Belle shuts off the TV and sighs in frustration as she continues to pack. "Hey I was watching that!" Her brother Davy says as he gets up to grab the remote, before Inker grabs it, glaring at him. "You know that I am in a bit of a bad mood Davy, listening to SimESPN just makes it worse" she says, sighing "now please help me pack, we have to head to start heading to the airport tomorrow and I want to be sure that I got everything" "I thought you said earlier that you did have everything sis" Davy says, rolling his eyes a bit. "Yeah, and that was before I realized that I forgot to pack my tentacle clips, now please come on!" At that, Davy sighs and gets up to look around the place for anything loose. "Oh hey I forgot to pack my running shoes aheh" Davy chuckles a bit sheepishly. "See? This is why we make sure that we have everything" Inker smiles "Yeah yeah, I get it sis" Davy smiles. Soon enough, after double and triple checking everything, they have it all in the moving van and were on their way to the airport "so sis, do you know what we are expecting to see when we get there?" "A former Toronto player named Armani Calamari will be meeting us at the Toronto airport and will show us to our temporary condo, and then we will be shown around the arena afterwards. I thought I told you this, did I forget to?" "You may have sis" Davy shrugs before they reach the airport. The flight to Toronto was most uneventful besides from a crying baby that took over 15 minutes to calm down and Davy somehow sleeping through it all. Inker had to shake Davy awake when they touched down, and they made it through customs ok despite an overzealous airport security guard wondering if the hockey sticks were dangerous. "Hey welcome to Toronto!" Armani says as he waves at them once they get out of the lobby "hope the plane trip wasn't too bad" "Ehh it wasn't too bad, Davy slept through it all" Inker giggles before Davy gives her an annoyed light punch on the shoulder. "Well, I hope you both can get some rest before the arena tour, but I bet you two want to grab something to eat before that. I know a great place for some sushi" "Oh man that sounds great!" Davy says as his stomach rumbles "Yeah and we can see around the city as we do that" Inker smiles before they both get in Armani's car. She looks around the big city or Toronto as they headed to the sushi place, just taking it all in. It may have been a bit delayed, but she was finally going to the big leagues. It was finally all coming together, and now hopefully she can show everyone what she is made of. But first, she thinks as her own stomach rumbles, time to eat off this jet lag!

Dear Mom and Dad: Hope you two are doing well! Me and Fact have been doing alright, even if he was a bit disappointed that we had to leave Las Vegas for Halifax. And yeah, after I was sent down by the Toronto Legion, I was told that I was to become a free agent in the VHLM due to a weird rule, and I got quite a few offers from various teams including Las Vegas. However, I really wanted to play for a team that I haven't played for before, so I went with Halifax because they had one of the better talks with me. Davy will get over it, plus he loves poutine so I'm sure he'll be happy there! I had to exchange my US money for Canadian money, and yeah different human countries use different kinds of money, I thought it was weird too when I first figured it out. We have flown there a few days ago, and I am enjoying some Tim Hortons coffee while I am typing this to you both. Davy is trying to find a little part time job of his own, but has not had any luck. I think he might have a good lead with potentially being a server for this one fancy restaurant, but we'll see what happens. I expect that I will be playing for Toronto next season, so we'll be staying in Canada and I better get used to the country. The cold isn't bothering me too much luckily, though Davy is having a bit of a hard time with the occasional snow. He slips and slides all over, and I think I will have to take over when it comes to driving us everywhere. And yeah Davy actually got his driver's license, can you believe it? I thought that he bribed the teacher at first! Now I am really sorry that we did not actually visit you this time, but with the free agency stuff and moving again we did not really have any time to go back to Inkopolis. We'll visit you as soon as we find time, we promise! Also we now have a pet: a creature humans call a dog! His name is Buddy, and he is super nice and friendly and loves to pick my face when he is happy. I'll send you both pictures of him with me and Davy. We have gotten settled in our condo well enough, and am hoping that the next move will go even more smoothly than this one, especially since we had such short notice. I will say, I really miss the taste of Inkopolis sea food and wouldn't say no to you all send us some of the frozen fish sticks so we can have them for dinner. The Humans do have some good seafood, but honestly it just doesn't taste quite as good as the ones back home. Maybe it's because I'm so used to the taste back home that nothing else will work for us? Anyways, now me and Davy will be going to a comedy show the GM of the Halifax 21st has invited us too, so I should probably start to wrap this up. We both really love you, and we really hope that we will be able to see you both again. I miss you, and Davy says he misses you too! Your loving daughter, Inker Belle

Happy to get an MVP nomination -
"Dear mom and dad: Soo how have you two been? Me and Davy have been good, and he has been staying out of trouble for the most part, me once having to drag him away from a slot machine when he was drunk aside. I'm sure you have heard the news, but we are staying in the VHLM for the time being. They are folding the VHLE for now at least, so we are cancelling the move to Europe. The good news is that I have been getting pretty used to Vegas, and I have avoided the casinos as much as I can. I know how much you hate gambling, mom. I bet you are thinking of Grandpa at Inkopolis casino all those years ago huh? Anyways, I am gonna be starting my practice sessions pretty soon, and the VHLM draft is coming up, so we have all been keeping our focus on that for now. I hope that me and Davy can go to Inkopolis to see you both soon, but with the drama of the offseason we have just been so busy! We'll be trying to go see you as soon as we are able to, so be on the lookout! I hope you two are excited to see me back on the ice as well. Your loving daughter, Inker Belle"
-
"so what you're telling me is" Davy begins to say to his sister Inker Belle "is that we are not going to Europe?" "Nope" Inker Belle answers "the VHLE is going down, at least for now. Not enough resources to sustain it or something like that. A shame really, I was hoping to explore more of the human world so I was kind of looking forward to it. But hey, now we can spend more time in Vegas I think" "Well that's good at least" Davy shrugged "I mean I do owe some people here in Vegas some- I'm kidding, relax sis!" He quickly stopped joking as soon as he saw that Inker was in no way amused by that. "Hmph, don't give me a scare like that" Inker poutsat her brother before lowering the fist she was about to pound into him "I am supposed to be looking out for you remember? You better not be doing really stupid things like that, you know I really hate gambling!" "Yeah yeah I know sis" at that point, Inker Belle's phone rang with the caller ID of the Las Vegas GM. "Hello, this is Inker Belle" she answers "Hey, this is your new GM, my name is Sadie" the voice says at the other end. "Wait what? Did the other GM step down? Davy look up the Las Vegas GM situation" Inker instructs her brother. "Let's see... Yeah looks like there is a new GM in Vegas" Davy replies "What?!" Inker says, slightly annoyed and pouting "why did no one tell me beforehand?" "Well with the E going away for now, things have been pretty crazy so I have not had time to really contact you until now" Sadie replies "but anyways, I'm glad to finally be able to talk to you. You were a key piece of the team last season ever since you were traded here, so I'm hoping we can get along and work towards another cup run" "Oh of course" Inker smiles "I'm still reeling from all the change, so I'm sorry if I sound tired" "Oh it's no problem" Sadie says "now I would want to meet in person at some point, so do you have a time we can meet?" "Yeah we can do it tomorrow or on Wednesday" Inker replies "I'm free on both days, as I don't have to pack and prepare to move to Europe for a season anymore" "Nice, I'll schedule it for Wednesday at 1 PM on my calendar if that works for you" "Sounds good to me!" "Alright looking forward to talking to you Inker. See you then!" Sadie says before she hangs up. At that, Inker sighs slightly before she goes to look in the mirror. Her previously long orange tentacles has been cut to her shoulders, and freckles had appeared once again on her face. Her cheek now had a barely visible small scar on it, but luckily she had all her teeth as they are stronger than human teeth. "Scars of war huh?" Davy joked lightly. "Yeah but it could be worse" Inker shrugs "now I'm hungry as heck, so let's go down to the Sea Shack!" "Sounds good to me!"
-
I was on the same team that won the first Renaissance cup and you can't take that away from me
-
"Wait, I got traded?" Inker Belle yelled, almost waking up her brother who was napping. She was talking to her agent on the phone, and he had delivered the news to her that she got traded. "Look Inker" the agent begins to say "the team contacted me about this being a possibility a few days ago and I meant to talk to you then but I have been so busy with other clients that I forgot" "Ok whatever, why was I traded though? I thought I was one of the top scoring players in the team" "Yeah but they aren't in a position to win are they?" The agent asks "think about it Inker, you're too good of an asset for a rebuilding team to keep, and they felt like they could get the value by trading you before you move up to the VHLE. Once you move up, they will not get that opportunity again." "Alright I understand" Inker says "where are they sending me then?" "Well they are trading you to the Las Vegas Aces, the top team in their division" the agent smiles "it gives you an opportunity to win a cup before you move up" "Oh that does sound pretty nice" Inker smiles "we will start packing up our stuff then" She then nudges awake Davy "wake up bro, we're going to Vegas" "Come on sis I thought you hated gambling..." Davy said as he tries to focus before he suddenly snapped awake "wait what? Vegas?!" "Yeah San Diego traded me to the Las Vegas Aces so we have to go ahead and get ready!" Inker says as she stated to work on packing "make yourself some coffee and start waking up" Davy sighs a bit as he goes to make coffee, and a couple of days later they both get off a plane and looked around Las Vegas. "Hey glad you could make it Inker!" The Las Vegas GM says as he greets Inker "I see you did bring your brother" "Yeah he has to go wherever I go as a package deal" Inker smiles "but let's get driving to the condo" Inker and Davy are led to a taxi and driven around the city of Vegas as they both look around "I never really got a chance to really look around when I was playing against the Aces, I was too focused on the game" "I wonder how good the entertainment is" Davy says "I would love to see a comedy show or something like that" "We have time to really look around tomorrow Davy, I'm still feeling some jet lag" Inker yawns as she leans a bit back into her seat. They soon reach the condo that is a part of a fancy hotel, and are given the key by a bellhop once they identify themselves. Th condo itself is rather nice, and even has a view of the city through a glass window. "I guess they are rolling out the royal treatment" Davy shrugs "The San Diego condo was also pretty nice, and I liked the beach, but I can get used to this" Inker giggles a bit as she goes to lay down on the comfy couch and take a nap.

Inker Belle really loves music, especially human music. If there is one thing she really appreciates about humans, it's the music they have. Before every game in the M for the San Diego Marlins she competes in, she has a select playlist of songs that she chooses from in order to get hyped for her upcoming time on the ice. She has also shared a lot of her songs with her teammates, and the friendly rivalry she has with Ender over who will end up having more points by the end of the season has been further fueled by these songs. Here is just a sample of this playlist: A Day at the Races by Jurassic 5 was a song she first heard after she decided to try out Tony Hawk's Underground after falling in love with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+2, and it is one of those songs she will try to rap along to, however poorly she ends up doing it. Can't Be Touched by Roy Jones Jr was a song that the team actually introduced to her, and she listens to it while doing pushups these days. She considers it her workout song, and has even tried to her brother Davy to start workout while listening to this song. Now you may be wondering why an Inkling would need to do pushups considering she has no bones, but it is mostly for stamina. Free Bird is another song in her playlist, but she has banned herself from driving while listening to it after an incident where she nearly started speeding near a cop, but it a favorite of the team's and the solo is one that they will air guitar to every time. Seven Nation Army is a big stadium song, and definitely one that the whole team likes to get hyped to when it plays over the loudspeakers. Despite the Marlins struggles, this is one of the songs that helps keep thier spirits up. When your team is struggling during a season, you will end up looking to other things to keep strength and spirits up so you don't end up going crazy. A lot of Johnny Cash songs are on there, including I Won't Back Down and Hurt, just to be lighter songs that she can vibe to during quiet slow moments. It helps that she isn't as opposed to country music as she used to be, but she still does not like pop country music and usually prefers the classics. In the high stress world of professional hockey, you will need to find things to help relax you and take your mind off of things. Inker has found it through music and her other hobby that isn't hockey in painting and sketching. She has even drawn pictures of all her teammates, but includeded a bit of a catty sentence on Ender's with the sentence "soon to be passed by Inker Belle" on it. The rivalry between them may not be ending until the season does, but Inker may have to step if up if she hopes to not be left in the dust by Ender, with her having 67 points to Ender's 72.

1. Because my player is Inker Belle, I sure hope so 2. Probably not give up as many goals as we do 3. A whole bunch, but my main is football with the Cincinnati Bengals 4. Moving up to the E 5. Usually hot weather because I can wear shorts 6. Probably more appeal to non max earners, but that's all I can think of
-
Inker Belle sighs as she looks in the mirror, a rather rough bruise on her cheek. She had taken a big cross check in her last game, and she honestly counts herself lucky that it was the only injury she got from it. After double checking that she has all her teeth and none was knocked loose, she puts some ointment on the bridge and walks away from her mirror, wondering what she should eat today. As she looked through her freezer however, a knock on her door almost makes her head hit the top of it and she grumbles to herself as she went to the door. "Hey what's up sis- are you ok?" At the door was Davy Joe, Inker Belle's blue haired brother. "No offense but you kinda look like you took a hit to the face" "It's...it's fine" Inker Belle sighs as she let's Davy in "in the last game my face got squished in the side of the glass. Anyways welcome to my humble home, hope it was what you thought it would be bro" "Well I was honestly expecting it to be a bit bigger" Davy shrugs. "I'm still in the VHLM, I don't exactly have the money for a house yet" Inker Belle says as she goes to look through her freezer again "now come on bro, stealing shrimp? You're so lucky your parole officer looked past it" "Hey I was hungry, and I thought my parole was over" Davy sighs as he looks around the condo "besides, if it was not for that one nosy girl who was wouldn't stop looking at me I probably would have gotten away with it" "Yeah and then Mom would have gotten on your ass regardless" Inker Belle sighs as she closes her freezer "screw it, you want to go around town go look for something to eat? Nothing in my freezer sounds good right now" "Yeah, that sounds good" Davy shrugs as they both left the condo and got in Inker's small car "couldn't afford anything bigger?" "I really didn't want anything bigger Davy, this car is fine and the fuel costs are not too bad" they drove around San Diego until Davy notices a seafood restaurant "oh you're feeling hungry for shrimp? I wonder why" "Oh shut up Inker" Davy grumbles as they park and get out of the car "I'm just hungry in general and honestly seafood sounds great right now" "Hmm I see" Inker says as they walk into the restaurant. As they were eating some fried shrimp and clams, Inker looks directly at Davy "ok I got to let you know something: try your absolute best to not get in trouble here please. I don't want to be in a situation where I have to kick you out or something like that" "Would you really do that to your own brother?" Davy said in disbelief. 'If I have to Davy!" Inker sighs in frustration "look, this might be your last chance, so just try to stay close to me and just try not to start any trouble and we'll be fine and your parole will end" "Oh yeah I think my parole ends in like 2 years" Davy says as Inker sighs deeply and facepalms.
-
Inker Belle yawns as she steps into her condo "it wasn't the best start for us" she says to herself, talking about the starts of the season for the San Diego Marlins "but hey, at least I'm getting some good points for us. We just need to learn how to actually win with them" she was just about to get a drink out of the fridge when her phone rang "oh hey mom what's up?" She cheerfully answers. "Well, we have a problem here" Inker Belle's mom sighs "your brother got in trouble again, this time trying to steal shrimp from a restaurant" "Ugh seriously again?" Inker groans "is there anyway we can stop him from getting in trouble?" "Well" her mom begins to say "we have plans to send him to live with you, so that a change of scenery can keep him out of trouble" "Mom you know how much me and Davy used to fight, are you sure this is a good idea?" "I know honey, but Davy needs some new things to look at and I really do think the he needs new surroundings to distract him. We will send him and his thing through the portal so you can greet him there, ok?" "Ok mom" Inker sighs, before going to the fridge after getting off the phone "I'm going to need more wine..."
-
Let's go USA
-
"Hey Inker congratulations on getting drafted, but shouldn't you be getting ready?" Inker Belle's neighbor said to her after Inker invited her to enjoy some pizza and video games with her. "Getting ready for what?" Inker asks after a bite of pepperoni pizza "I already got drafted, and I don't visit the Legion for like a week or two" "Did you forget?" Jessica asks "you have a whole different draft in a few days! The Euro draft! You really have to start getting ready!" ".. what?" Inker asks before jumping up and gasping "oh no!! The Euro draft, somehow I completely forgot about that! I do have to get ready!" "Relax Inker, I'll help get you ready" Jessica says as she looks around the condo "besides, you'll have more time to do it tomorrow as well" "Oh right yeah" Inker says as she looks around for clothes to pack "hey Jessica have you ever been to Europe?" "I visited England on a school trip once, but that was it" Jessica shrugs "besides, there are a lot of different customs based on what country you go too, just visiting one of them is not a good way to get a gauge on all of them" "Yeah that makes me feel way less nervous" Inker sighs, rolling her eyes "guess I better keep eating and do some research" She says as she grabs both her phone and a breadstick.
-
Inker Belle leans back in her chair, trying to calm her nerves as she waits for a call on her phone. She was in the VHL draft green room, and the 14th pick had just gone by, meaning that the first round of the draft is almost over. She was considering getting up and going to grab a coke when her phone rings and she almost drops her phone as she goes to answer "I-Inker Belle here, Inkling and hockey player!" "Oh good I did get the right number" the voice on the other end chuckles "this is Doug, the general manager of the Toronto Legion. We would like to know if you would like being drafted with our next draft pick" "Oh yes I would absolutely love to!" Inker Belle says excitedly "can't wait to start working with you! Plus, I can totally dig going to the mountains on vacation" "Oh that is great to hear!" Doug says "alright we are about to announce the pick, so prepare to walk out to the podium" At that, Inker checks her makeup and tentacle hair to make sure that they are still looking good as the Commissioner walked up to the podium. "With the 15th pick in the VHL draft" the Commissioner begins to say "the Toronto Legion select..Inker Belle, of the San Diego Marlins!" Inker Belle smiles as she gets up from her chair and begins to walk to the podium. She notices that he camera was a bit too high to fully see her and motions it down to her level. Luckily it was a machine operated camera so it didn't require a human to bend down a hurt their back. Inker smiles as she takes her Legion hat and jersey and smiles and waves to the camera. "This is an interesting pick" one of the live commentary people say "some people said that in a stronger class, she may have gone in the second round, but she had a massive VHLM season with 72 points in 72 games and has tons of upside. Still, her smaller frame may cause issues and she seems a bit naive. All the potential in the world, but we'll just have to see if she realizes it fully" Inker shakes the Commissioners hand and walked off the podium to the back, where she called Doug and continued her conversation "I did some research on Toronto and it seems to be a pretty fun place" "Yeah I would say that it is" Doug says "now we think that you should stay another season down in the VHLM and perhaps have a season in the VHLE before you are ready to come up to the VHL, does that sound good to you?" "Yeah I think that is fair" Inker smiles "honestly I do think that I need more training, my problems with adjusting to human hockey are still there.
