He is large and rather tall, with a thick beard and balding hair. "It's nice to meet you too!" Logan smiles as they shake hands "I assume Izumi has talked about me?" "Yeah, and she has gotten me quite a few good articles about you and your team" Axel says as he goes to grab a soft drink on his desk "I just wanted to meet you face to face in order to know who she is truly getting all these tips from" "How much is she telling you?" Logan says as he raises an eyebrow "there is quite a few things I would like to keep between us" "Well it's just how you are feeling after each game, and what your thoughts on both the team and the country of Sweden. Don't worry, I do not think she is telling me anything she should not be" "That's good, I like to keep some things private about our relationship. I believe that trust is the most important thing in any relationship" "Same here, probably part of the reason I've been married for over 30 years" Axel chuckles a bit "anyways I hope that I get to hear from you soon, so I'll see you then" "Same for me" Logan says as he goes back to meet with Izumi outside.

Hey guys and gals and everything in between WildfireMicro here with an idea that just popped into my head while I was looking at Discord: What If The VHL Had Trading Cards? Basically, this media spot will go over some ideas for a potential VHL trading card series and how I personally think it could work. Now obviously these are nothing more than suggestions however I think that pondering on what could be can be good for us all. I will be going over what each trading card can look like, how users will get packs of them, and how each user will get their player on a card. So without any further ado, let's begin! So first of all, let's go over how each card will look like. Basically the cards will most likely each be graphics of the players render inside a card. So no these will not be physical cards, nor will they be bought with actual real money (we don't want to bring an NFT issue into here). They will just be renders of the VHL players that we can collect and trade around. Now one thing that might make it easier on the creators of the cards is that I think only players who have played in the VHL and not in the lower leagues should get cards. There are probably some arguments for getting VHLE or even VHLM cards, however for the purposes of this media it will be VHL only. So with that being said, how would a user be able to attain a pack? Honestly, this is a big tricky part for me, and it can go a number of different ways. I personally believe that a user should be able to get a pack a day for free at the very least, and maybe later down the line find some way to figure out how users can be able to earn extra packs. Someone smarter then me can figure out how a user would earn those extra packs, but regardless one free pack a day I feel is pretty fair in the end. Also I believe that each card should have a tier based on how much TPE the player has. However, this can have the unfortunate side effect of putting extra strain on those making the cards so just having each card have a single tier and only adding a new card for a player should be done when a player switches teams. Maybe also eventually having special cards like Hall of Fame or Awards cards can be something cool we can do. Now obviously we would not have anybody male those cards for nothing, so maybe having job pay can be good for those doing it. This does have an unfortunate effect of maybe being too taxing of a job for the reward, but like I said someone smarter than me can figure it out. While this is not so much of a proposal as it is just thinking of the possibilities, I still hope that you enjoyed the idea that I brought up. This isn't a big task that needs to be done right now, and I understand if we have bigger fish to fry at the moment. Regardless, I hope you enjoyed this and I hope to see you all on the ice!

Sup everyone WildfireMicro here and my VHLE team the Stockholm Vikings have gotten off to quite the hot start. 11 wins with only 1 loss and 22 points total, while the next teams closest to us are tied with 7-4-1 records in the Istanbul Red Wolves and the Geneva Rush, who also both have 15 points each. Don Aven of the Vikings is currently leading the VHLE in points with 21, while his teammate John Richards is third in points with 19. Jorgen Von Strangle is 9th with 14. John Richards is tied for first in the league in terms of goals with 9, and Don Aven and my player Logan Foley are tied for 7th place with 6 goals each. Don Aven gets most of his points from assists however, as he is second in the the league in them with 15, only one assist below Maxwell Mathias of the Geneva Rush who has 16. Jorgen Von Strangle is in a three way tie for 6th place with 11 assists. John Richards is tied for 9th with 19 assists. Also worth mentioning is that Logan Foley has 2 game winning goals. Surprisingly though, no Stockholm player has a hat trick yet in the early season, however that does show that not just one player is getting all the goals and that we are sharing the love around to all the players.

(I have no idea what to title this I am sorry) Logan Foley was in high spirits. Despite still being in the VHLE, his team in the Stockholm Vikings were still seemingly quite good and they were riding a win streak of a few games and he had just managed to get back to his condo in Stockholm Sweden. As he walked in, he saw his fiance Izumi playing a game called Twisted Metal Head-On on his old PS2 he bought used from a pawn shop. "Hey I did not know that you were into those kinds of games" he says as he sits down next to her "Oh yeah I used to play car combat games when I was younger, though a lot of the Japanese versions were censored unfortunately" she smiles "by the way I have to ask you for a favor, and I do already know that I still owe you a favor from the last time..." "Hey you don't owe me a thing don't worry about it" Logan smiles "so anyways, what do you need?" "Well my boss is getting on my case as he usually does, but now he wants me to somehow get a story where I get interviews with some of the members of the Stockholm Vikings. Whilevi know that you would be ok with me asking you questions, I just don't know if your teammates would be ok with that..." "Oh I understand don't worry I'll try to ask them about it tomorrow" Logan says "also I will have to ask the GM and coaches if this is ok, but maybe I can get you into the locker room to interview the players personally" "Oh that would be fantastic Logan" Izumi smiles excitedly"I know that as a member of the press I should be able to get into locker rooms, but I've always been so nervous going into them. It's weird, but it just makes me feel like I do not belong in them, so maybe having you there with me will help." "Yeah I can see why you would be nervous, I still get nervous when I enter a new locker as a new player. You should have seen how nervous I was when I went into my VHLM team's locker room, I was stuttering and everything!" "I cannot imagine you stuttering Logan" Izumi giggles "however that would be fantastic if you could help me. Also I know that you asked for it when we eventually move to Malmo, but I do not know how we will be able to construct an ice rink in the back of the house, that just seems to be quite the undertaking." "Yeah however I think I know a few construction guys who might be able to help with that, the only issue is maintenance with it. We would definitely not want it to melt. Maybe we should just keep one inside instead of the backyard or anything like that. Like a pool in summer and a rink in winter. I don't know, I am just throwing out ideas here!" "I know you are Logan, and I do love you for how frequently you speak your mind." She kisses him, then picks the controller back up "anyways I gotta unpause this, the level will not play itself!"

"So you are still staying here in Stockholm for another season?" The Stockholm Vikings GM asks Logan Foley, surprised "I thought you told me that you were going up after just one season here" "Oh I thought I was" Logan admits "however the GM told me that with all the free agent signings and rebuilding, they want me to not have to compete for ice time and have more time to grow my skills" "Yeah I can see where that would make sense" the Vikings GM says, then smiles "of course, we would welcome you coming back for another season and we kept your spot in the locker room just in case this happened" "That is good to hear!" Logan smiles"I'll be heading to the practice facility to meet any new players in the upcoming few days. I hope that I can act as a mentor of sorts to them!" "Of course, you will absolutely be a big leader on the ice! That kind of leadership will be very helpful in helping develop the players and potentially winning a cup" "Yeah, I know how close we were last season and I want to bring us to the promised land as much as anyone on the team. Anyways, I'll touch base with you in a few days so see you then!" "Absolutely, we will see you then Logan"

"You want me to stay in Stockholm for another season?" Logan Foley asks while he was on the phone with the Nighthawks GM, rather surprised "I personally thought it was a done deal that I was heading up. Not that I'm angry or anything, I'm just wondering why." "Well Logan this season we are going to go through quite a unique season with all the free agents we are bringing in." The GM begins to explain "and we just figured that you would like a season where you would not always have to compete for time on the ice" "I guess that makes sense" Logan shrugs and then smiles "however I will definitely want to come up next season, so be prepared for that" "Yeah don't worry Logan we will be prepared" The GM smiles as he writes down some notes onto a piece of paper "we already are preparing your real Malmo jersey and will absolutely have a place for you to stay. Anyways, I hope that we will stay in touch and I hope I get to talk to you again real soon!" "Yeah I'll try to give you an update in the next few upcoming weeks. Let's hope I can bring a cup to Stockholm before I hopefully bring one to Malmo eventually!" "Hell yeah that is what I like to hear Logan! Anyways, I will talk to you later so see you then!" "Alright goodbye!" Logan says as he hangs up the phone and goes to sit down on the couch next to his now fully grown black lab Shadow. "Looks like we will be staying here for the time being boy" he says as he pets his dog "Izumi should be here soon, I hope she won't be upset by this news" he says as he goes to turn on a movie. Soon enough, his girlfriend Izumi comes into the condo yawning and looking tired. She worked as a sports reporter for a well known hockey magazine and website, and had just did a story on a junior hockey league. "Hey honey" she says after another yawn "how was the talk with your GM?" She asks as she sits down next to her boyfriend "Oh he said that because of the rebuilding and free agency stuff, I will be staying down for another season" Logan shrugs "he mentioned not wanting me to have to compete for time on the ice" "I see" she says as she undoes her hair from the ponytail she had it in "I guess he is right. Besides, it does give us more time to prepare for when it is time to move" "Right!" Logan smiles "and I do love the people in Stockholm, so I get to spend just a bit more time with them. Don't worry, this is not Stockholm syndrome" he chuckles a bit at his bad joke "Ehh you might want to work on that one" she says as she pets Shadow, who thankfully does not try to jump at her "but I get it. Also I brought home some chocolate in my purse, and I guess you are a bit hungry" "Well I was gonna heat up some leftovers, but sure!" Logan smiles as he goes to eat the chocolate.

Logan Foley and his girlfriend Izumi were taking some calls from some Swedish businesses that would be interested in having Logan do a sponsorship for them. Logan sighed as he got off another call and said, "yeah, all of this is gonna depend on if I get called up or not, but the GM of Malmo said that it was all gonna depend on what happens during the off-season." "Yeah I can you can't see the future, so we just have to tell them all that it will all depend on what happens later." Izumi sighs a bit, then smirks "you better let me be the first to know when it happens, because being the first to get juicy sports stories like that could get that promotion I want." "Oh trust me honey, you would absolutely be the first to know when something comes up." Logan smiles "however all we can do it just play the waiting game for now, as the off-season will take quite a while" "Oh and by the way, Shadow here is due for his shots" Izumi says as she pets thier black Labrador. "We absolutely do not want to delay on that" "Yeah we need to get that done, so let's just get that over with" Logan says as they all prepare to leave.

Logan Foley adjusts a camera as he puts it at an angle so that it can see both himself and his girlfriend Izumi while they have both finished their fancy dinner and we're listening to some live music inside the restaurant. "Hey Logan Foley here, and welcome back to the Logan Blog! This is the first video blog I have actually done, usually I just do written blogs. Also here with me is my lovely girlfriend Izumi, say hi honey" at that Izumi holds up a finger so that he will wait until she finishes drinking some of her Coke. "Hey I am this dorks girlfriend" she giggles at his slightly annoyed reaction. "I don't know how many times he has brought me up in these blogs, but we have been dating for a few months now" "Around 5 months I want to say?" Logan guesses, while Izumi shrugs a bit "I don't keep exact track of how long it has been, I just know that this is our third date. Oh god, please don't tell you are filming this just so you can propose!" "What? No not yet. I'm still extremely busy with the playoffs and the Vikings and getting ready for my call up to the Nighthawks, and besides dad told me to wait at least a year" "That's fair." "I just wanted to show off what we are doing. Also don't worry, I am drinking water not alcohol, I'm not gonna be risking anything. Anyways, Logan out and I will see you all later!"

"And the Stockholm Vikings get a 3-1 lead over the Olso Storm!" The hockey TV main commentary man says as the Vikings team leaves the ice in high spirits "however, I think they should not get cocky with this lead, as we have seen teams come back from this before" "That's right" his partner says "hell it actually happened during the first ever VHL Euro Finals when the Iron Eagles came back from 3-1 and 2-0 in separate series to win it all. The Vikings better not take their foot off the gas, as I am absolutely sure the Storm will be flooring it in desperation." Logan Foley's girlfriend Izumi changes the channel at that as she goes to grab a drink to wait for Logan to get back home. He had promised her that before the next game, he would head home to take her to a nice fancy dinner, so now it was just down to the waiting game for her. Sure enough, not too long after that Logan comes into the house, smiling big but stinking of sweat. "Hey honey." He smiles at Izumi after putting his bag down on a countertop. "I wouldn't go and try to kiss me right now, I need to take a shower first." "Don't worry I can both see and smell that" Izumi chuckles a bit as her boyfriend goes to get in the shower "pretty good game from all of you, but I was scared that you were going to forget about our date in the heat of the moment" "I almost did I will admit" Logan shrugs a bit "however I rememberd as soon as I got back in the car" "Good" she says as she hands him a towel and clothes at arms length "I got you some clothes to wear tonight, I think they will be perfect for it. Come on and grab them, the smell is getting to me" "Alright, I'll be out in a bit" Logan says as he grabs the clothes and goes to take a shower. When he eventually gets out, he sees Izumi petting his pet black Labrador puppy Shadow "I hope that the little man hasn't been causing you too much trouble" "On no, he has been a very good boy" Izumi smiles "your beard is getting pretty long" "Well should I shave it or something?" "Actually no, I like it long" she says as she gets up from the chair "besides you look way better with a beard then without." She gets closer to him and examines it "actually maybe you should trim it a bit after the playoffs" "Yeah I figured that I will keep it for the playoffs then shave most of it" Logan shrugs "anyways, do you need time to get ready?" "Oh yes, I need to make sure my hair looks good!" She says as she goes into the bathroom "I got it done earlier today, but it's been a bit so you never know" "Well obviously I wouldn't know much about that" Logan shrugs "only thing I know about hair is shaving and beard maintenance" "I know honey. Anyways, I think I am ready to go, so shall we?" "Absolutely, let's do this" Logan says as they both head out of the house

I think it is fair, you may have lost but they couldn't beat you in regular time 5. Probably thought that we were doing too good and needed to be brought down a peg 6. I was in EFL and SBA, but their portal is not as good as VHL's so I left. I am in PBE and a few others now

Izumi pets the puppy named Shadow that her boyfriend Logan Foley had found on the street as Logan comes into the house. Izumi greets him as the pup playfully tries to nibble her finger "Well we get to skip the Wild Card round." Logan says, smiling "that's good, just lays out a better path for us to go through in the playoffs" "That is great honey" Izumi says as she puts Shadow down and let's Logan pet the very excited pup "I hope that I can get some pictures of you in hockey gear before you play the first home playoff game" "Oh absolutely" Logan smiles "I will get you in the locker room before the game to get the shots, however that will probably be as far as I will be able to get you" "That is fair honestly" she says as she gets up to go grab a drink "now I am just gonna drink a bit before heading to bed, it was a long day today with all the work I had to do in editing" "Wait I thought someone else took care of editing?" "Well she was sick today" Izumi shrugs "they needed this story out today, so I couldn't just wait for her to get better." "Well good thing you have good editing skills" Logan chuckles as he goes to find something to eat.

Logan Foley was driving around Stockholm, heading home after his trip to the grocery store. The VHLE season was winding down, and Logan did have a bit more time this week to and grab some groceries before he had to potentially head out and play some playoff hockey. As he was driving down the street towards his condo, he has to suddenly stop his car to just barely avoid hitting a dog he could just see about to run onto the street through his window. "Well crap..." Logan says to himself as he gets out of the car after pulling it over by the crub "I wonder if the owner is anywhere watching this dog..." The the dog itself is a black Labrador not even a year old, and it had no collar or any kind of identification tag on it. "I wonder if it is a stray" Logan says as he goes towards the dog, who slowly goes nears him and sniffs his outstretched hand before licking it. As it licks his hand, Logan can see that it is a male "Maybe I should see if it has any chip on him." Logan leads the dog to his car, and helps him get in it. He then grabs his phone and calls the local vet office "hello, I have found this stray dog that is not even a year old, and I was wondering if you have any time today that we can go and check to see if he has any diseases or any chip in him." "Oh well that is unusual to find a stray that young" the receptionist says, surprised "nonetheless, we do have a spot free if you can get here within the next hour or two" "Absolutely, I'll be there in half an hour at the most" Logan says, as he sets his GPS to lead him to the vet. Ever since he had moved to Stockholm Sweden, he had been using that GPS a lot to get him through the unfamiliar Sweden cities and countrysides. "I really hope that you can stay with me little buddy, but if you have an owner then we will find them for you" he smiles at the puppy who was starting to fall asleep "it would be nice to have a pet that I can pet whenever I am frustrated with the Vikings and me losing" Soon enough, Logan reaches the veterinary clinic and carries the puppy into the waiting room. After setting him up with a complementary collar and leash, the receptionist let's Logan through the the vet doctor and his assistant. "Hmmm this is an interesting pup" the Doctor says as he examines him "we can't find a chip inside him, so we have no way to identify where he came from" "So I guess he really was just a stray" Logan shrugs "but damn, a stray that young?" "Yeah some people can be horrible about what happens to animals that can't take care of" the doctor sighs "however, if you plan on adopting him, how about giving him a name?" "Well how about we call him Shadow?" Logan smiles as he pets Shadow's ear, who tries to playfully bite his fingers. "That is a pretty good name for him" the Vet smiles "now we can set him up with some food and you can keep the collar and leash, but the rest is up to you" "Don't worry doc, I got it all covered" Logan smiles as he leads Shadow by his leash out of the vet and into his new life.

Dear Mom and Dad: Hey it's me Logan again! It's been an interesting few days here in Stockholm, but I'm actually enjoying myself here. The country roads are way more relaxing then the craziness of New York traffic, and I just enjoy looking at all the culture that is around me right now. I hope that you all are doing well, and I am really glad Dad's health scare ended up being a false alarm. Still, I would be careful and make sure his is still alright during these next few weeks, as we never know when something like that might flair up again. Maybe limit his caffeine intake so his heart will be ok? I know that's hypocritical coming from a coffee nut like me, but still. Another thing that I want to tell you is that I actually found a nice girl! Yes I know that my last girlfriend did not go so well, but this girl is extremely nice and I think this will go way better then last time. Her name is Izumi Saito, and she is a reporter from Japan who moved here to report on hockey games. I know, she has a perfect profession to complement what I do! Anyways, I hope you too are well and I hope to see you during the off-season. Your son, Logan.

Another hockey game has ended for the Stockholm Vikings in a 4-2 victory over the Geneva Rush, and it was once again time for the post game media scrum. Logan Foley was one of the first to reach the podium, looking pretty happy after yet another victory for the Vikings. He still wasn't that good with the Swedish language, though he had taken some lessons, so he had a translator with him. Thankfully, most of the reporters do speak some English, so this won't be too hard on him in terms of communication. "Hello there Logan" one of the reporters says to begin the questions "this question is not related to the game so I do apologize, but I am curious about how you are finding it here in Sweden. It must be a big change from a place like New York or even a place like Mississauga in Canada" "Well yeah, going from a crowded place like New York to the wide open spaces of Sweden is quite a bit change I will say." Logan answers "however, I love the feeling of how relaxing the long green grass filled roads can be, and I am a coffee nut so the amount of coffee can be a big plus for me too." "Oh?" The same reporter begins to ask "then what is your favorite kind of coffee or coffee creamer?" "Oh that is easy: I absolutely love sweet cream and vanilla caramel creamer in my coffee, though I will drink it with milk and sugar if I have to." "Hello Logan" another reporter started to ask "I understand that you were being moved up onto the first line, how is that working out for you?" "I'd say that it is working out pretty well" Logan smiles"yeah it is a lot of responsibility, but I feel like I can handle it all. It just shows everyone how much work I have been putting in during the off-season and during the season as well." Logan smiles, and soon he takes his leave once the questions switched over to his teammates. As he walked out, he saw his new girlfriend Izumi Saito waiting by his car with his camera. "Guess I am not done with all the reporting that will be happening today" "Well all I really need is a photo" Izumi smiles "all you need to do is too look like you are doing something else, and my boss will be fine with it" Logan decides to look back at the arena in order to look distracted as Izumi takes the photo "my boss is a bit is a stickler about getting pictures that look spontaneous, so I needed it to just look like a spur of the moment thing." "Does your boss know that we are a thing now?" Logan says, his eyebrow raising. "Well he probably does, it seems like everyone in the office does after Freja found out and told everyone she could" Izumi says, slightly annoyed "however I don't think that really matters in the end. Let them know, I'm just glad we are together" "Me too honey" Logan says as he kisses her cheek, where afterwards they both get into his car to head back home.

Currently in the VHLE, the Cologne Express lead the league with a record of 29-9-1, with the Oslo Storm being extremely close behind with a record of 28-9-1. The Stockholm Vikings follow in third place with a 23-9-6 record, overtime losses being the thing holding them back. The Vasteras Iron Eagles are in the 4th spot with a 22-14-3 record, however they are trying their best to stay afloat because the Geneva Rush is only game game behind them in the standings. After a Istanbul Red Wolves team that has a record of 20-18-1, you have the bottom dwellers with the Bratislava Watchmen and the Rome Gladiators having 8 and 2 wins respectively. Sebastien dokis of Vasteras leads the league in points with 68, with his teammate Adeline Delle Donne following close behind with 61. Adeline however does lead the league in goals with 31, with Sebastien being 4th on that list with 24. Sebastien is second in the league in assists with 44, only one less then Curtis Crumbof Cologne with 45. Curtis also has the most points anoung defensemen with 54, Reese McFleury and Hunor Solyom both being tied for second in that category with 47. Womp Womp Womp Womp Womp Jr both leads the league in shots blocked with 152 and hits with 249. My player Logan Foley actually is 7th in hits with 95, fitting his wrestling render.

Logan Foley was walking around the streets of Stockholm Sweden, whistling a tune to himself. The Stockholm Vikings were in a good spot as they were in third place in the VHLE standings, however 6 overtime losses have hurt them as they were still behind the Oslo Storm, who only have one overtime loss. So while this was bothering him a bit, he was trying not to let it bother him as he walks down the street. Another thing that has been bothering him is his lack of luck in love, as he had just broken up with his girlfriend. However, what he should have been doing is watching where he was going, as he bumps into a woman in the street and nearly knocks her over. "Oh my gosh I am so sorry!" Logan says he checks to make a sure she has not fallen over. She is a young Asian woman, looking like she was just taking a vacation here or something like that. "Oh don't worry sir" the woman says as she tries to steady herself before smiling at him "I should have been paying attention too, I was listening to my music a bit too loud." "Oh what were you listening to, if I may ask?" Logan smiles "Metal music. I got into American metal music via a friend of mine, and I became kind of obsessed" she giggles, then takes a good look at him "hey, no offense, but you do not sound like you are from here" "I am not, I moved here from America to play hockey" Logan explains "may I ask where you are from?" "Oh my family moved here from Japan. We all learn English at a young age in my family, so it was pretty easy to communicate." The woman smiles "my name is Izumi Saito, what is yours?" "Logan Foley" Logan smiles "Oh you are the one who is playing for both of the hockey teams in Sweden, right?" "Yep. Well I am actually only playing for the Vikings for now, and I will be playing for the Nighthawks once I get called up." "I see." The Vikings are currently third in the VHLE with a 17-8-5 record, sitting behind the Oslo Storm who are 22-7-1. Currently thier leading scorer is Apex Bridges III, who has 15 goals and 21 assists. My player Logan Foley has 6 goals and 8 assists, and is second on the team in hits with 68. He has also spent 20 minutes in the penalty box, but that makes sense for the player who's render is a professional wrestler in Mick Foley. Jarno Lappi leads the team in in penalty minutes with 46, which is 16 more then the next player in Jacob Stone who has 30. Jarno Lappi is also tied for the most hits with John Poremba Jr, both of them having 77 hits . In terms of goalies, Travis Clark has a 12-5-5 record with a 0.933 save percentage and a 2.14 GAA. He also have 2 shutouts. His backup Jay Saucey has an 8-5-3 record and a 0.938 save percentage and a 2.01 GAA. Right now the Vikings are in a really good spot, but I feel like they would want a better seed then the third seed. The Express will be hard to beat however, and seems to be the Vikings kryptonite as I don't think we have been able to beat them yet. "Hello everyone my name is Logan Foley and welcome to a special long episode of the Logan Blog! It has been a bit since I have done one of these, so I decided to tell you all about an incident that happened when I was moving from New York to Stockholm Sweden. Basically, I was trying to board the plane, but they were making sure my passport was up to date, so I was kind of being held up at the airport which made them realize that I was a hockey player that had played professionally. According to one of them, he once tried to become a professional hockey player, but an injury kept him from achieving his dream. I kind of took his story with a grain of salt, because anybody can say that they could have been a professional athlete, but he seemed pretty serious about it. So finally my passport goes through fine and I get through, taking my place in the plane. I ended up sitting next to a couple of Swedish kids who apparently were with their parents sitting behind me, all of them having taken a vacation to New York. The kids did seem like they have had a bunch of sweets before the trip, and it was tiring the parents out to try to keep them still. I decided that I needed to do something to help them, so I talked to the kids and told them stories about being a professional hockey player. This did work wonders, as they payed attention to my every word until they eventually got tired and started to wind down. The parents were very appreciative, and I just told them that it would inconvenience us all if the kids couldn't sit still, and that my babysitting experience helps with situations like this. I explained that I used to be a babysitter for various kids in the neighborhood when I was a teen, and that had given me tons of skills for when I have to deal with kids. The rest of the plane trip was mostly uneventful and I was asleep for most of it, however I did figure out who on the plane had motion sickness. After I got off and got through customs, I was met at the airport by the Stockholm Vikings staff and got to my apartment and set everything up. The family I met in the airplane completely slipped my mind until a few weeks later after a game at home, I was heading off the ice when I noticed the same family trying to get my attention a few rows above the team entrance. 'you were telling the truth!' one of the kids sas as she stares at me 'my brother said that you might be lying, but I knew you were telling the truth!" I told them to meet me outside of the arena, where I took a pick from the team equipment area and signed it with a white marker. 'just something for you to remember me by' I smile at them 'mayne you remember this moment when you are being big hockey players, huh?' I say to the two kids before I shake the parents hands and leave for my car. Well that is all I have for this blog. I will see you next time, and go Vikings!" (I didn't know what else to title this)
