REVIEW: Overall I liked this breakdown. You did put good arguments for each of the elements and had good accuracy. I would have wanted you to ralk about defense tho, as sometimes the best offense is a good defense. Defense tends to make opportunities for the offense. But overall, very good article. 8.5/10

Hey guys and gals and everything in between WildfireMicro here and I am the current Assistant GM for the Cologne Express. This past season was my first season with the team and we unfortunately were defeated in the playoffs in the first round. However I ultimately had a lot of fun doing this, and I learned a lot of stuff along the way. I guess for the most part I have just posted the press conferences and fantasy and gave my input on things when I could. I have to thank Bartzy for taking a chance on a first gen user as an assistant, and I am really happy how our partnership has shaped up. Don't worry, I am coming back for another season of this. I want Expeess to win that cup and I will try my best to help us do that any way I can. We will have a few people to replace in the upcoming draft, and I am really excited for that. I know the season for the VHLE started off rocky, but I want you know that we GMs and AGMs are always trying our best to show you how good this league can be. There are a lot of good people involved with the E, amd we can't wait to show off our stuff next season. Until then, this Express won't stop for nobody!

This is from my player Armani Calamari's perspective on what he has been doing over the offseason, written on his online blog: The offseason wait can be long and dull. I have seen many players become very antsy from the boredom it brings. When I talked to Tiffany about this, she mentioned that I could possibly go grab some offseason hobbies to pass the time. So we both agreed to get a checklist of what I could try to do in order to keep my mind sharp and ready for the season. The first thing we tried was to pick up a hobby of looking around thrift stores for anything interesting. One thing we found that was pretty cool was an old Commodore 64 that looked to be in amazing condition. I liked old computers but I knew my cousin Jerry liked them a lot more. The only problem was that the computer waa from the UK and would not really work the right way on our TVs. Thankfully, we ordered a converter online to fix that. Another thing we found that I really liked was a really old Toronto Legion jersey. Not sure what year it is and the player that it represents has been lost to time, but I still got it to hang in my house. Another thing we did is finally splurge on a new computer. My 5 year old Mac was not cutting it anymore, so we decided to build our own with a 1200$ budget. It was really a gaming computer in the end, and can also do streaming and video editing. But more importantly, it had way more storage than the old Mac. I guess it is definitely worth having to learn how to use Windows. I have only used Mac my whole life because my dad is too technologically behind to use anything else. I have also gotten into gaming with this computer, with games like Magic the Gathering Arena and Team Fortress 2 being some of my favorites. But I can talk about my offseason hobbies until I am blue in the face, and right now I would rather talk about how excited I am for Toronto's future. We have one of the most exciting young cores in the league in my opinion, and I love how we are continuing to grow and flourish. I am actually tied for the most penalty shot goals on the season, and I was given the unofficial award for it. I know that we still have a lot to work on, but I believe in us. Tiffany is now 3 months pregnant, snd I am beyond excited to meet whoever comes out. I don't know if they will be a boy or a girl, and honestly I do have and preference ether way. I will love them just the same, and I will take care of both Tiffany and my child with all my heart. Now I have to go, because I think Tiffany had found a thrift store we haven't checked out yet. I'll see you later, and remember: Toronto Together, Legion Forever!

Mexico City Kings Season in Review, Now What?
WildfireMicro replied to Arce's topic in Archived Media Spots
REVIEW: A damn good piece! I love how you kept a positive attitude throughout despite how the playoffs went. I wish there was some paragraph spacing tho. I do like the detail of showing the TPE tho, and the lack of paragraph spacing is really my only complaint. I wish the Kings luck going forward! 9/10 -
REVIEW Thank you for being so open and honest. I can tell that this comes from the heart. As a person with Autism, I appreciate it. Overall this is an amazing piece and I think everyone should read it. I hope everything works out! 10/10

Armani Calamari smiled as he heard the crowd cheer loud as the Toronto Legion wins thier Wild Card series against the LA Stars. With how many on the sports media were saying that the Legion would be destroyed in this series, this was extremely satisfying to him. After the handshakes, Armani amd his teammates got answer some media questions with a local sports reporter: "Now Armani I know that a lot of people doubted that the Legion would be competitive, let alone win this series!" The reporter says as he catches up with Armani "is there are anything you want to say to them now?" "Well I am not an insanely petty or angry person, or at least I think I am not" Armani says to make the reporter chuckle "so I will just say that I am dedicating this series win to my unborn child inside my beautiful wife Tiffany. Now I have to get home and hug her!" He shakes the hand of the reporter before heading our to his car. Before he started the engine, he looked up some videos of the playoff predictions that happened before the series started. He thought about leaving a comment, but thought better of it. Right now he just knows that their actions will speak better then their words. Even if they lose the next series, they have this to hang their hats on.

It was a few days before the start of the playoffs, and Armani Calamari wakes up to find that his new wife Tiffany has already woken up before him. Thinking this was odd, because she is usually quite the late sleeper, he looks around a bit for her until he notices the bathroom door slightly open. He reluctantly and slowly opens the door to find Tiffany clutching her stomach, having just gotten sick. "Umm are you OK, honey?" Armani says, trying to figure out if it is okay to put a hand on her shoulder for comfort "do you need some water?" "No.... I just don't feel good this today." Tiffany says as she grabs Armani's hand to help her up "but honestly, I don't know why I feel so bad. I was a bit nauseous yesterday morning, but was fine later." "So morning sickness?" Armani says as he helps get her to a chair to rest "and this has been happening recently huh?" "Yeah it only started a few days ago or so." Tiffany says she tries to relax "Well I'm just gonna ask, and don't take this the wrong way but" Armani took a moment to try to think about how to ask before just straight up asking "umm have you gotten your time of the month? If I remember correctly don't you usually get it a few days ago?" "I have not" Tiffany says before she gasps "are you saying that you think that I might be pregnant?!" "Well y-yeah I guess I am" Armani says nervously as he scratches his head "it seems like the only explanation, r-right?" They stared at each other for a while before Armani finally decides to speak up "look I think we should get a test just to be sure. If you are, I will do my best to take care of you" "I t-trust you honey." Tiffany says as she grabs his hand and they head to Armani's truck. "Don't text anybody until we know for sure. I know your dad has been hoping for grandkids, and I don't want to get his hopes up too much" "Relax honey I won't. If the test comes back negative, we will head to the doctors to see if anything else is wrong, ok?" Armani smiles a bit reassuringly as he starts the truck "Yeah that sounds like a good idea. Now I guess we head to the pharmacy" They drove across the town in mostly silence, a lot of thoughts and concerns going through thier minds. They bought a pregnancy test before going back home "Ok that cashier did not need to look at us like that. We didn't need to be to be congratulated ether" "To be completely fair, it is pretty obvious what had happened for us to buy that." Armani says as Tiffany goes to take the test. A few minutes later, she comes out with a hand over her mouth and a positive test in her hand. Armani looked at the test, then smiled and hugged Tiffany with a few tears I'm his eyes. "We will make amazing parents, I know it!" "I know we can be Armani" Tiffany smiles a bit "I'm just nervous I guess." "Hey we will get through it. Trust me, I will help you along the way"

The Y beside the Toronto Legion name means a lot more to Toronto then you may think. We are a rebuilding team that had been playing out of our minds for the whole season. My player Armani Calamari has managed to get over 50 points so far with 53 points. He is probably not in the Rookie Of The Year conversation, but honestly I feel like he has exceeded any expectations I could have had for him. He actually celebrated with champagne when the coach announced that they made playoffs after the win against LA. While I honestly don't expect us to get that far in the playoffs, I do realize that getting there was an accomplishment in of itself. We have a lot to build on in Toronto and we can only get better from here on out as the players keep earning well. It is an exciting time to be a Toronto player and fan, and I can't wait to see us continue to grow. Armani himself Is extremely happy to be playing well for his hometown team, and he is hoping to at least play well in the playoffs. If my understanding is correct, we have the wildcard game against Calgary so we will see them in the playoffs! Toronto together! Legion Forever!

This an interview of Armani Calamari for the Toronto Sporta Newspaper, written by Dale Miller: When I went to Armani's new house after asking his permission to enter his home, I see not only his own hockey history on the wall but a lot of Legion history as well. This definitely shows that Armani was definitely a Legion fan before he was drafted. The item that shows this the most is several well-worn jerseys hanging up on coat racks around his man cave. A lot of these are from years ago, with the oldest being 14 years old. Armani greeted me once he got downstairs with a hand shake and I began to ask him questions, with the first one being: how long has he been a Legion fan? "All my life really" Armani answered with a smile "growing up in Toronto Canada you definitely become a fan pretty quickly, and my dad was sure to make me become one." His father definitely sounded like a loyal Toronto fan then. We have definitely have seen John Calamari at a lot of his son's home games and even a few of his away games. Speaking of which, we decided to ask him if he ever felt embarrassed by his dad cheering him in so many times at games: "Absolutely not!" Armani says, looking a bit surprised "Well maybe when I was a teen in my high school games, but not now. I can always count on him being in a seat real close to the team penalty box so he can tell me how I can improve while I am in there. It also makes the anxiety of being in there worth it!" Armani is indeed very lucky to have such a good relationship with his father. There are a lot of people around who may not have the luxury of being close to family, and a lot of athletes have family members who try to get close to them for money. We then decided to ask if John or any other family member asks Armani for money or favors: "Not my dad I can tell you that!" Armani laughs "my dad hates asking for help and is a bit of a stubborn one. This includes asking for directions, at least in Toronto. He says that he knows the city inside and out. He will ask for directions if he is a city he is not familiar with however, like when he got lost in Philadelphia that one time. The stadium was on one side of the city and he was all the way on the other side! He did make it to the game however." It does sound like John can be a bit stubborn, but honestly so can I. Just ask my wife! Anyways, we then decided to wrap up the short interview by asking Armani what he thinks about the Toronto Legion's hot streak as of late: "I think it's amazing, especially since we came into the season with very little expectations. I am aware that we are probably not ready for a major cup run, at least in this season, so I am trying to temper any major expectations I get. I am excited though, as we can only get better as we go." Indeed Armani indeed. After that i let Armani go and thanked him for yet another great interview, and that is where I will end this article.

Hey guys and gals and everything in between WildfireMicro here to talk about my career in the VHL so far. I came into the VHL when somebody in the SHL was talking about how good this league was, and honestly it has been pretty good to me. I mean I've won a title and I am now an assistant GM! But I am getting ahead of myself here, and I'll start at the beginning. When I went to create my first player, I had a name that I was holding onto for a while now: Armani Calamari. I don't know what it is about that name, but when it came into my head it proceeded to stick with me for quite a while. So it was a perfect name for my first create, and I signed a waiver contract with the Philadelphia Reapers. We reached the playoffs but we ended up losing in the first round. Afterwards I was drafted in the VHLM draft by the Ottawa Lynx and had fun playing with them for a while. Eventually however, I was traded to the Reapers and we made the playoffs again but were knocked out again. Afterwards I decided to work on getting my TPE up to join the first VHLE season where I was drafted by the Vasteras Iron Eagles. It was there that I won my first title in the league, as we proceeded to come back from being down 0-2 and 1-3 in convective rounds to shock the world and win the first ever VHLE cup. Oh man, that was extremely exciting and I am do happy I was able to play with so many great guys in Vasteras. Hell, I now play in Toronto with a guy who I played with in Vasteras known as Doomsday. Afterwards I managed to get my TPE high enough to jump ahead to the Toronto Legion, where we have been shocking people with how well we are doing. Armani is currently having an awesome rookie season with 40 points overall. During the offseason where I made the jump to Toronto, I also took up a job as the Cologne Express Assistant GM. That has been a great learning experience for me and I helped with the draft and am now helping post press conferences. I do not know if I will take a job as a GM anytime soon, but right now I am just happy to help the Express to a potential title. We are in a great position to get into the playoffs at the very least, so we will see what happens next. Overall the VHL has been an awesome experience for me and it is currently the only one of this family of sim leagues that I can stay active in. Now no one really knows what the future holds for me or Armani. I qm hoping that Toronto continues to get better and that I will continue to be involved everywhere. I also hope that those who have gotten to know me these past few months have gotten to like me. Thank you for reading and I hope to see you all on the ice!

REVIEW I love how you separated each section of the teams by spaces. That makes it easy for everyone to find the team they want to know about. I also think you brought up great points for every team and explained those points well in such a short explanation for each team. Overall this was written very well and I liked it.. I am personally looking forward to your VHL and E articles! 9/10

Toronto's Tomorrow: An Update On the Legion's Prospects

Armani Calamari was just leaving the Toronto Legion stadium after a nice win when he was stopped by a boy in a Legion jersey and his mom. Not just any Legion jersey, but an Armani Calamari jersey. The boy had a permanent marker with him as well, wnd he nervously handed it to him "Mr.Armani, Can I umm please get an autograph on my jersey?" The boy asked. Armani smiled as the kid reminded him of himself when he was that age "If you wear the jersey a lot, the signature would wear off. Trust me, I know from experience." Armani says as he reaches into his bag "but here. This is a jersey worn by yours truly during the game you just saw" the boys eyes grow starry as Armani signs the slightly sweaty jersey and hands it to him. "Get this jersey framed, it is the best thing for it." "Oh my gosh!" The boys cheers "thank you so much!" He takes a picture with the family then heads to Tiffany, who was watching them "I love my fans Tiffany, what can I say?" Armani smiled as he kissed her "I know honey, I know. You probably just made that kid's year. Or five!' They laugh a bit as they head to thier car.

This story is told from the perspective of my player Armani Calamari: "This story begins on my 9th birthday. It was a bright and slightly chilly Friday afternoon, and Dad, my friends, and my family are showing me my presents. It was mostly the stuff you usually see be given for a 9 year old's birthday, like toys and video games. My Dad had the best gift however, as he gave me a box with the VHL logo on it. ' Dad is this what I think it is?' I ask, excited 'Just open it son!' It ended up being a custom Toronto Legion jersey with my last name on the back 'This is awesome!' I say as I jump up and down. As I do, two tickets fall out of the box, and I almost scream with excitement 'you got us tickets to the game tomorrow?!' 'Yep!' He smiles big 'and those are special VIP tickets that I got a month ago and been hiding from you. They will let you meet the players before the game!' 'YES!' I yell as I hug him 'thank you so much! I love you!' 'I know son. I love you too! Now I hope you cam get some sleep, as tomorrow will be very exciting.' And that it was, as the next day me and him go get some breakfast at the local Tim Hortons before we headed to the arena about an hour later. I was absolutely starstruck as I headed into the arena and was shown on a tour of the arena to see all kinds of history. We were told many pieces of league history even a hockey nerd like me did not know at the time. We were then shown to a special VIP area afterwards where a few players were waiting. They were all extremely nice to me and dad and put up with my excitement and want for autographs. I got them to sign a photo I took with them, and I still have that photo to this day. Just before they headed out to the locker room, I had this to say: 'I will play on this arena's ice!' I yell, full of conviction. 'Even if I play for a different team, I will play here as a VHL player! I promise!' They all chuckled good-naturedly and one of them rubs my hair 'I'll be looking forward to that kid.' That player said to me before they headed to the locker room and we were shown to our VIP seats. I don't remember much about the game besides the fact that it was a victory for the Legion, all I remember is the promise I made and how I wanted to make it come true no matter what. It still drives me right now in my career where I am currently playing for the Legion itself. I actually got ahold of that player a while ago and told him that I did fulfill that promise. He just said to me that he knew that I could do it. And to be honest with whoever will read this journal entry, that is all the motivation I need to keep going"
