  1. Upcoming season filled with possibilities

  2. Gamecube was the shit. Miss mine so much, but it's so expensive to collect for now
  3. I loved my 360, too bad it red ringed. Still it was definitely one of my favorite consoles
  4. 1. The VHL or VHLE depending on if I am called up . 2. The Thadius one I guess 3. Probably towards Seattle or another top team if they want a quick ring QUESTIONS: 1. What is your favorite thing to do in the town you live in? 2. Did the WJC results suprise you? 3. Which VHL dynasty do you think is close to falling?
  5. REVIEW: First off, I love that name! But I do not like the lack of paragraph spacing. I know when I copy and paste into the VHL it doesn't have spaces for whatever reason, but still. The story itself is pretty cool, and Aloha herself seems pretty nice. However the lack of paragraph spacing and formatting issues hurt the score. 8/10
  6. REVIEW: Overall a good piece. I love how it is broken up into segments so we know what each point is talking about. I do have gripes with the fact that you didn't have spacing for the quotes. However I get that you don't have to always do that for quotes, but it still would have been nice. I wish you luck going forward! 8.5/10
  7. Armani Calamari, who is already riding high from his VHLE championship, has just won gold for his home country of Canada as well in the WJC. He was a big part of the win against Asia, scoring two goals and an assist. He also got an assist in the gold medal game. Now he is standing proud with his hand on his heart as the Canadian anthem plays, with him singing it softy to himself. His dad John is in the crowd as well, this being the first time in a long time that he got to see his son play. After the ceremony, Armani managed to catch up with his dad while he was in the locker room. "No dad I am still not sure if I am being called up yet. All I know is that it is a possibility but not a guarantee." "Don't worry son I understand. I just miss my son sometimes." "Yeah I get it. At the very least this gold medal must make you proud of this country. I hope to bring more glory once I head to Toronto." "I am sure you will son. I am sure you will" Armani and John decided to head to grab some food afterwards with rest of the team so they can celebrate.
  8. Hey guys and gals and everything in between WildfireMicro here to talk about my career with Armani Calamari so far and what I think of what is ahead for him. He had grown a lot, from just a low TPE player who was just a waiver pickup for the Reapers to the captain of the first ever VHLE champions. He is my first player with the VHL and I think his career is going great so far. He was picked with the first of the second round picks in the VHL draft by the Toronto Legion and was picked late by both the Vasteras Iron Eagles and the Ottawa Lynx. He played most of his VHLM career playing for the Reapers. He played his second VHLM season with Ottawa until he was traded to the Reapers. I am happy that the Lynx won the title this season by the way, really good for them. Armani was in the playoffs for both of his VHLM seasons, and like I said he won the title with the Eagles. He hasn't missed the playoffs in his career so far, however I am prepared to miss it in my first VHL season. He has not really been the main star on the teams he has been on. He has mainly just been a really solid player that can be an all around talent because that it ultimately how I built him up. He is not really a main scoring option, but he is a playmaker that can be good on defense and offense. Not that it matters much to Armani in storyline however. He is just a really nice guy all around who loves to support his teammates and just loves hockey. His team at the next level will be his hometown Toronto Legion in a draft selection that is perfect for where I want to take his storyline. I know that Toronto has a long way to go before it is truly good, but I am here to help it get to that point. I haven't been a true max earner since I haven't really been doing reviews until recently. And press conferences haven't always been there for me ether. I am hoping to fix that going forward however. The VHL has been a good league to me so far, and I am extremely honored to win the first VHLE title. I love how the Eagles have managed to overcome adversary time and time again on route to that title. We overcame being down 0-2 and 3-1 in two different playoff series. We overcame two game sevens. I am extremely proud of every teammate I had on that team, and whether I go on to the next level or stay down another season I can hold my head up high going forward. Overall it has been an extremely fun experience here in the VHL. I know more games and more challenges await me, but I am definitely ready for it. Armani is growing with every week and I am proud of him too. Thank you for reading, and I hope to see you all on the ice!
  9. REVIEW: I love this a lot! The bigger text size and the coloring of the text are nice touches. Plus I love the photo that makes it look like a real news article. I am a bit bothered by the lack of paragraph spacing to be honest though. It's what keeps this from being a perfect score. Looking forward to seeing what you do in the draft! 9/10
  10. REVIEW: Overall I really like this. I did chuckle at the fact that the game he is gambling on is EA NHL. I feel like this article could have been a bit longer, but you got all the points across. That, and you missed a paragraph space. Let's hope that this situation doesn't ruin their careers! 8.5/10
  11. 1. I unfortunately don't watch much hockey, but I do like the Nashville Predators 2. I think this might be necessary for the league to grow and improve overall. 3. Jeffery Pines, I guess? Questions: 1. What is your favorite kind of ice cream? 2. Who is the most underrated player in the VHLE playoffs? 3. What is your favorite player render?
  12. Basically ask me questions for a future podcast. Don't know how long the podcast will end up being beyond 15 minutes, but go ahead!
  13. Me when I first joined ISFL when I didn't know that it and others like it would become my free time
  14. Pretty simple. What do you wish you knew about the VHL before you first joined? I'll start: I wish I knew more about how money works in this league when I joined
  15. The Vasteras Iron Eagles head back into the locker room after game 7 of the VHLE finals in high spirits. Armani Calamari quickly got the champagne he bought just in case they won, and he popped out the first two in each hand and chugs them a bit. Soon there is champagne being opened everywhere as the team celebrates hard and loud. The coach was drenched in the stuff as well as the team goes out high fives and hugs. Soon the party dies down a bit as the team prepares to head to the jet to head back to Vasteras. While he was waiting for their flight, Armani got a call from his dad John: "Son I am extremely proud of you tonight I saw the whole game! So did a lot of people in town" "Dad! I am happy that you saw us win" Armani then hiccuped "sorry the champagne is getting to me a bit. But I am so excited and I am ready to head back to Vasteras and hopefully I'll see you soon as well" "I am looking forward to that son. Now I think you have a flight to catch so go take a little nap in there" "Oh I will dad. I know that I will be hurting a bit tomorrow, but I am ready for it. Vasteras here I come!"
  16. Armani Calamari and his teammates watched the clock go down with excitement. It was game 7 of the VHLE finals, and the Vasteras Iron Eagles were up 6-1 on the Rome Gladiators. They had clawed back from being down 3-1 in the series and now they were just a few seconds away from winning the first ever VHLE championship. Finally the seconds went down to zero and all of the Iron Eagles players went to hug in a big pile in the middle of the ice. Calamari would have rather this happen in Vasteras but this was still an insane moment in his life. Eventually the hug broke apart and Calamari was pulled into an interview with a sideline reporter: "Armani you must be so excited about this and I am extremely happy for you!" The British reporter girl said "tell Mr and the fans back in Vasteras how you feel" "Well I know most people in Sweden do speak English but I hope there are subtitles for those who don't." Armani chuckled "but nevertheless, this is extremely exciting for me and I am so happy to bring the cup home to Vasteras. I love the people in Sweden and I know they deserve it. They embraced this kid from Toronto Canada and I can only imagine the celebration happening there." "I am being told that it is crazy! But I must know if you have learned much Swedish while you were there". "I learned that I am not that good at learning new languages!" Armani laughed "but hopefully they can understand all of my words well enough. I love you Sweden, see you in a couple of days or so!" It was then that Armani was called onto the center of the ice to hold up the large cup first since he is the captain. He held it up high and yelled out his victory and triumph to the cheers of the few Vasteras fans that were able to make the trip to Italy. And somewhere in a small town just outside of Toronto his dad and a bunch of his friends are celebrating just as hard. They had been watching the game through John Calamari's hockey streaming service and they can't wait to get ahold of Armani to congratulate him on a job well done. Alright guys and gals and everything in between WildfireMicro talking now and I just want to say how proud I am of this team overall. We have clawed back from diversity so many times in these playoffs, being down 0-2 in the semi-finals and 1-3 in the finals. We had to go through the pain of two game sevens. Everybody did their part in making this happen and I will admit I had my moments of doubt. I do not know if I will earn enough to get into the VHL, but I would be alright if I have to spend another season in Vasteras. Yes we might suffer a painful hangover season but at least we can do it with our heads held high. Thank you Vasteras and thank you for reading. I hope to see you all on the ice soon!
  17. 1. It was pretty good overall 2. So far the playoffs 3. I would make the league put more emphasis on LR activity 4. We have a chance, no matter how small 5. The 3 straight wins after being down 0-2 6. That the VHLE has the potential to be a fun league
  18. Armani Calamari is extremely excited as he reaches home and prepares to call his dad. Due to a third period comeback, the Vasteras Iron Eagles have reached the VHLE finals in game 7. "Hey son!" His dad says from other line in Toronto when Armani calls him "congratulations on getting to the finals! However I thought we agreed to emails because of my phone plan being crap-" "Yeah I know but this is so special to me that I wanted to hear your voice when I talk about it." Armani says as he sits down on his couch "man we had to come back from being down 0-2, then we had to make that third period comeback in game seven. We are all just extremely excited right now" "I bet. But don't act like you have won it already understand me?" His dad says as he looks at a picture of Armani holding up a high school regional championship "you still need to win four more games before Rome does. Don't lose focus, because the biggest test so far is next" " Yeah dad I know don't worry" Armani says as he puts on sleeping clothes "if we win I'll be sure to include you in my victory speech! That is of course if we win. Good night dad!" "Good night son. We are rooting for you here"
