  1. REVIEW: First off, this is a great graphic for your first go at making a sig. You did a fantastic job and with just a bit more improvement, you'll be making some amazing graphics. To the graphic though, the logo swap you did with the Hound logo on the jersey is really clean. It looks like it actually belongs on the jersey, which is always a good sign. Next up, you also added the VHL Crest, which I actually didn't see at first, but it looks really natural just like the logo, so good job on that. I also like the choice of text that you ended up adding on the side, it really fits the graphic overall and it's a great choice. My first word of advice would be to try to mess around with layering or something, because there is a lot of blue and it makes Matthew's skin look like he also has a blue tint to it. Last, I personally would darken the Hounds logo you added and possibly blur it a bit, because it really pops out and doesn't necessarily fit the jersey as much as I would personally like it. Regardless, this is a great job for your first sig and keep at it!! Overall: 8/10
  2. Siyan Yasilievich - Season Expectations and Alternate Captaincy Season Expectations Siyan Yasilievich will have high expectations coming into this season. After having a below average first season in the league as a rookie, he'll be looking to make a splash this season. He had an amazing Junior Showcase Tournament where he was a point per game defenseman and the captain of the team. Siyan was selected 12th overall by the Philadelphia Reapers ahead of lots of players that had much more talent at the time being, so he has big shoes to fill for the Reapers. Coming into this season, we spoke with Siyan a bit in our interview asking about what he expects for this season. We'll summarize what he said, but he basically said that he wants to have 40 points at minimum and to take home the trophy this season. The Reapers are coming in with a star-studded lineup with big name players such as Eldon Escobar, Bob Chicoine, Bobby Rockwell, and many more. That also doesn't take into account returning players, in all-star goaltender Red Gaming who will be backing them in between the pipes. With a team like this, Siyan has his sights set very high and he's hoping that the team will be able to finally achieve that trophy that they have been waiting for so long. Alternate Captaincy Siyan Yasilievich was recently named one of the Alternate Captains for the Philadelphia Reapers in the upcoming season. He'll be joining Red Gaming and Eldon Escobar in leading the team, with Red Gaming being the Captain and Eldon Escobar being an Alternate Captain. Siyan is not new to the Captaincy and Leadership role on teams, as he was the Captain for the Steel in the Junior Showcase Tournament, so he'll be ready to lead another team yet again. You can already tell Siyan is fitting into his role very well, as during practices he is teaching the younger players what the expectations are for the team, and he seems like he'll be a great fit for the Reapers. It is very funny though, because Siyan doesn't have the best English yet, and he's still working on it, so during practice when he's trying to help people out sometimes the message doesn't always get through. However, the younger players seem to enjoy his enthusiasm and presence in the locker room, so he must be doing something right! Miscellaneous The Philadelphia Reapers will be starting their season on February 1st, where Siyan will take the ice for the second time in a Reapers Uniform. It'll also be the first time he'll be wearing the "A" on his jersey. A lot of General Managers and Scouts are already keeping their eyes on Siyan Yasilievich, who is the projected #10 pick for the Upcoming S83 Draft in both VHLE and the VHL, where he'll most likely be playing in the next season. Siyan is almost ready to take that jump to the big leagues, and one more season would be perfect for his development.
  3. Siyan Yasilievich - Pre-Season Interview We caught up with Siyan Yasilievich and asked him a couple questions about the upcoming season. First up, what are your expectations Siyan and what are you hoping to achieve this season? I'll be looking to take home the trophy this season. I think our team is absolutely stacked and I can't wait to get this season on the road. I'll also be hoping to put up 40 points this season, as I think I am very capable of doing so. Alright, well what is one teammate that you are looking forward to playing with? I can't wait to play with a lot of my teammates, but one that sticks out to me was my line mate at the JST for the Steel, which is Bobby Rockwell. He is a fantastic defenseman and I enjoy having on the team, not just playing with him on the ice, but also having him in the locker room. Last question before we'll leave you, is there anything that you want to say to the fans/doubters? This is the season for the Reapers. We have an amazing team and great chemistry, I think we'll be able to go far and win it all, I don't see many teams standing in our way to do so. Alright, that'll be it, thank you for your time Siyan and we'll see how the Reapers do in their first week of games!

  6. REVIEW: Another fantastic graphic honestly. First off, the player's face is perfect for this graphic, as he looks very determined and ready to play for said team. On top of that, the font used compliments well with the overall color palette of the London United's team, so it fits very well. The blending done with the overall shade of the jersey looks very well done also. Honestly, you can easily tell a lot of time was put into the graphic and I appreciate that, as it is an exceptional graphic. On top of that, I really like the abstract background choice as it makes the player stand out in the graphic. The only thing I would say you could change is possibly make the "London United" font bigger, or change the background if you want to experiment, but other then that it's a perfect graphic and you did a great job. Overall: 10/10
  7. REVIEW: I just want to say that I wanted to review this because of how amazing this is. This is actually one of the best graphics I've seen made for my short time here (About a month now). To the blending of the logo, to the small details like the logos on the jerseys in the background, the jumbotron having the Watchmen banner across it, it's all amazing. I can tell you put a ton of time into this graphic and props to you, it looks fantastic. The only thing I could even say would be to like add a small border or something, but even without that this is easily a 10/10. Fantastic job and I give you much kudos for this man, it's seriously impressive work. Fantastic blending too. Overall: 10/10
  8. PRESS CONFERENCE: Week of January 30th, 2022 (You don’t need to answer every single one, just 6 for 2 TPE) 1: Do you have any personal goals for your player in the upcoming season? 2: What are your expectations for the Reapers coming into this season? 3: Who is the most underrated player in the NHL and why? 4: Which player are you most excited to play with and why? 5: You are stuck on a deserted island and there is no way off the island. You can bring one teammate, who are you bringing and why? 6: Which team are you looking forward to playing this season? 7: If your player was to be drafted to a NHL team, where do you think he would land? 8: What is your favorite soda to drink and why? (Example: Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Dr. Pepper, etc.) 9: What is one thing that is very unlikely to happen, but you hope happens this season for your player? (Example: I want to get 69 hits because it would be funny.)
  9. Glad to be apart of the Philadelphia Reapers organization and I'm excited to get started!!
  10. Word Count: 1095 Weeks Claimed: Ending 1/23 and 1/30. Thanks!
  11. Siyan Yasilievich - Season Recap and the Future Philadelphia Reapers VHLM Season 81 Regular Season and Playoffs Recap Siyan Yasilievich had a tough start in his career, coming in towards the end of the season signing to the Philadelphia Reapers. Siyan played on the fourth defensive pairing, where he would average around 5-8 minutes of Total Ice Time a night, not a lot for a new player, but expected. It ended up taking Siyan 7 Games to record his first point, in which was an assist, and it was his only point during the regular season. Siyan had 10 Games Played, 0 Goals, 1 Assist, and a -6 during the Regular Season, not a promising start to his VHLM Career, however, he was finally starting to find his game. Heading into the playoffs, Siyan knew he had to impress, otherwise he could find himself not landing a crucial spot on a team next season, in which he wanted to be a powerplay specialist. The Reapers were up against the Houston Bulls Round 1 and ended up taking a huge upset, beating them 4-2 in the process. Siyan again was pretty absent from the scoresheet, not really being a huge factor in the series, but was a big factor in the locker room. From many sources, the young player was heard boosting the team's morale in between periods, and despite not showing up on the scoresheet, he was a very crucial part to the Reapers success, that cannot be denied. In the next round, Siyan would find himself toe to toe with the Las Vegas Aces, who were obvious favorites coming in. The Aces ended up taking down the Reapers and ending Siyan's run in his first season, 4-2. Siyan in the playoffs had an unimpressive stat line, having 12 Games Played, 0 Goals, 2 Assists, and a -2, however it was an improvement. Despite his first season not being the best, his voice in the locker room and signs of improvement caught a lot of General Managers and Players attention, so Siyan was a big name heading into the Junior Showcase Tournament. Yukon Steel JST Recap Heading into the tournament, Siyan had an idea that he would most likely be selected and make it onto a team. He was an up and coming star in the VHLM and to go undrafted would be unheard of, but to which team he had no clue. Siyan ended up being selected by the Yukon Steel 24th Overall in the JST Draft, which was a bit of a surprise to him, but nevertheless he was glad to be on a team and get started. Little did he know however, that he would become the backbone of this team, being named the Captain of the Yukon Steel just a few days later, which was a huge feat for Siyan. Siyan ended up taking the Steel to a first place regular season finish, finishing the season 12-7-1 in the tournament with the Steel. He also had an impressive stat line of 20 Games Played, 6 Goals, 9 Assists, and a +8 during the preliminaries. This was extremely important for Siyan, who was heading into the VHLM Draft and had to put up impressive numbers to get VHLM GMs attention, to which he did. The Steel ended up heading into the playoffs as the First Seed, but we're quickly eliminated 3-1 against Team Clue, who were red hot in the playoffs. Siyan in just 4 Games in the playoffs put up 2 Goals, 5 Assists, and was also a +2, which was his best PPG average in his career, especially to do that in the playoffs is very impressive. Siyan was poised to become an absolute star in the VHLM, but he has yet to find success in the playoffs, having not been able to reach the finals in two separate tournaments. At the end of the tournament, Siyan said his goodbyes to all the players in the locker room for the Yukon Steel, and the management. He was happy with his performance and next up would be the much awaited VHLM Draft, where he'll have to see where he will be selected. The Future and Beyond Many people are wondering, where is Siyan Yasilievich going to end up in this upcoming VHLM Dispersal Draft? A lot of scouts have their eyes on Siyan, but they don't know where to really play them in their rankings. Some people have Siyan going as early as round one, while others having him dropping to potentially late round two, or even early round three. The problem with Siyan is that you don't really know what type of Siyan you're going to get. Are you going to get Siyan Yasilievich of the Reapers, who struggled during the regular season, although early in his career? Or are you going to end up getting the Siyan who had an amazing Junior Showcase Tournament for the Yukon Steel and was the Captain on that said team, putting up impressive numbers. Many scouts say that his career so far has been promising, the fact that you can see the progression in his game and the stat lines show for it, so it's very likely he will end up going early on in the draft. However, there are a few skeptics that are afraid Siyan could end up regressing and going back to the Reaper form he had early on his career, and it would not be worth taking him early on. Siyan is currently projected to go #10 in the VHLM Dispersal Draft, but again, some people have him higher then #10 on their list and some have him lower. Siyan is an offensive puck moving defenseman that will look to join in on the rush and set up scoring opportunities for his team. However, at the end of the day, regardless of what may happen, Siyan is ready for his first full season in the VHLM and will be looking to absolutely tear up the competition and attempt to bring home that championship trophy he so very much desires.
  12. Siyan Yasilievich Junior Showcase Tournament Recap Siyan Yasilievich was drafted 24th overall in the Junior Showcase Tournament and was also named captain to the Yukon Steel team. In the preliminaries, Siyan Yasilievich ended up putting up 6G 9A for 15 Points during the preliminaries. The Steel ended up finishing first place, and looked poised to win it all in the Junior Showcase Tournament. In the second round, the Steel went up against Team Clue, getting knocked out 3-1 in the Semi-finals, which was a bit of a disappointment for the team. Siyan in the playoffs put up 2G 5A 7PTS and a +2. We caught up with Siyan Yasilievich and asked him his thoughts on the tournament and what his future looks like heading into the VHLM Draft, to which he said, "I think I played pretty well in the Junior Showcase Tournament. I was around a point per game player and I was able to show everyone what I am truly capable of. As for the draft, I have had a couple teams contact me about being selected, but I'll be waiting for my name to be called, that's for sure!" We wish Siyan the best of luck wherever he may land, with the draft coming up in just a couple of weeks.
  13. REVIEW: I like the idea with what you were trying to go with. First off, I think if you're going to take out the old logo, you should take a bit more time and try to get the color closer to the jersey hex color. You could then after that use the blur tool so it fits in with the jersey a bit more. Then after that, I would add the logo and blur it / add some effects so it really looks like it fits on the jersey. Next up, I would add some text and give a outline/shadow to it so it stands out. I do like the fact that you added some text at the top, but I would make it pop out more if you can. Last, I would add a generic outline to your photo if possible, as it would make your work really "pop"! Overall, I can tell you did your best on it, and with a little bit of practice, you can make a fantastic graphic. Rating: 6/10
  14. REVIEW: I like this graphic, as well.. I am the captain on it. I think you did a fantastic job with keeping the graphic simple, but well organized. I like the fact that you ended up adding the logos on each of the players and also the "C" and "A". One suggestion is that if you are going to add the logo, trying to remove the logo behind it would be a fantastic idea by just painting over it and then using the blur tool. I also would in the future try to add some shadow to the text, as it could really make the text pop out at you. You could also add some shadows to the players, but you already have an outline which looks fantastic. Overall, I love the graphic and I think you did a great job! Rating: 8/10
  15. REVIEW: First off, this looks really nice as a graphic. I just want to say for the people that don't know, in the JST, the first day the fighting sliders were insane, and there was multiple people with like 60+ PIM in 5 games, it was crazy. Back on track though, I really like the layout of the graphic. First, I like the "vs" in how it has the outline and the texture for the actual text. It makes it look very nice and it's a small touch, but it really adds to the graphic. Next up, the Border with the overall text works very well together. It focuses on the middle of the graphic, which is the JST Finals. One suggestion I would do is if possible, add a shadow to the logos or the text, to make them stand out more. That is just personal preference though, but I think it would look very nice if you did it. Overall, you did a fantastic job! Rating: 8/10
  16. REVIEW: For your very first attempt at a sig, it's a great job! First off, I like the border you included, as it really makes the stand out. The background in general is pretty solid, and having the logo in the corner is a nice touch. On top of that, the effort to put in the patch at the middle of the jersey, usually where the NHL logo is really nice. To help you out, first off I would end up adding a Shadow or some sort of Outline on the text and the logo if you can. This adds depth to your sig and it will end up making the sig much more lively and better looking. Also, if you can, you can try to blend the color that you painted over with the color of the jersey and try to blur it a bit to make it look like it's the same jersey. Other then that though, this is a very solid attempt and I hope you had fun make it! Rating: 6/10
  17. 1. I am very excited to see my teammates get some much needed recognition that they deserve. 2. As I am going into the VHLM Draft, I'd love to come back to the Reapers, but honestly I'll play for anyone. 3. I am going to be trying to improve the passing and scoring skill, as I've already gotten SKA/DEF to 70. 4. To be honest, I don't know, but if I was able to get around 30-40 assists I'd be very happy, not going to lie. 6. First off, don't change the colors they look amazing. If you were to change the colors though, I'd make orange a primary color and try to see what you can do with that. 8. Buffalo Sabres. We should've had McDavid in the first place .

  19. Siyan Yasilievich - Playoff Recap and Junior Showcase Tournament Siyan Yasilievich ended up finishing the VHLM playoffs with 2 points in 12 games, and a -2. When asked about his performance, he stated, "It's my rookie season, so there's not much to say. I think I had an average season at best, but I'm still trying to get used to the style of hockey over here in America." Siyan Yasilievich will be heading into the VHLM Dispersal Draft, where he is projected to go 10th overall. We also asked him about his draft placement and if he thought it was a fair assessment of his skills, to which he said, "I could've done much better this season. I think me being 10th overall is very generous, and I could see myself going anywhere from Round 2 to Round 3 to be honest." Also, to wrap this up, Siyan Yasilievich is currently playing in the Junior Showcase Tournament, where he is the Captain for the Steel and has 5G 4A 9PTS and a +4 in 14 games.
  20. REVIEW: At first glance, I like this graphic to be honest. I think the simplistic style that you're going for works very well, and I like the text choice. There are a couple changes I would end up making though, the first change I'd make is I think I would change the background to something different, or blur the background. In my opinion, it kind of takes away a little bit from the whole picture, but it's still not too bad. Overall, I'd give this a solid 8/10 and I think with a little bit more experience and editing, you could become a great designer! Good Job!
  21. REVIEW: I really like this graphic to be honest, it is the same style that I like to go for when I create graphics. I like the fact that you have the background and the player goes over onto the black part of the graphic. This is very slick and it is very clean overall. Honestly, the only thing I would end up changing is maybe change the VHL logo to be straight instead of tilted, but regardless this is a 10/10 and beautiful. Great job!
