Oh yeah, Houston has ghettos unlike anything I've seen. There was like, a whole community of homeless people under a bridge. I was scared. But there was nothing extreme as far as homelessness went where I was "living," so I guess it depends what area you're in. Houston is REALLY REALLY big, so it's kind of hard to make any blanket statement about the whole city. Except for them being fat as shit.

I've only met three girls from Tinder thus far and they have all been pleasant enough, though I've only kept seeing two of them. I had one over for the day yesterday and she's a bit of a character. Often makes inappropriate jokes, comments, and non-sequiturs. For example, one time a friend of hers asked to take nude photos of her for an art project. The pictures are super tasteful and are mostly just zooms on her shoulder blades and other such things, and the photographer's girlfriend was there too to make it less weird, and they gave her some booze for her services. So I have her over, and she's meeting my brother for the first time, and they're on the subject of everyone's innocence or lack thereof, and she tells him, "No, I'm not that innocent, I once agreed for a dude to take naked pictures of me for a case of beer." I laughed because I knew the full story, but you could tell my brother was thinking like, "Wow, this girl's kind of fucked." We also watched porn for the lulz earlier that day, so he wasn't entirely wrong.

Texas is pretty swell though. At least Houston was, not nearly as hick ish as you'd expect. It's not surprising it's a fat state though, it's economically feasible (if not practical) to eat shit tons of fast food and beer everyday. Whataburger is life.
