Hey, everyone! @JCV was my very first AGM and absolutely hit the ground running as soon as he stepped foot in the locker room in S89! However, due to real life stuff he is unable to do both AGMing and school/work. As much as I hate to see him go, JCV has stepped down and I will need someone to take his place! I first want to thank JCV for everything he's done for us in Miami and especially me -- you left a hell of an impression on me. As a busy bee myself, I will need an AGM to do the following responsibilities: Create a press conference for our players at the start of every week for TPE. Be active and engaging in the Discord locker room. Help our players with any questions, comments, or concerns they may have. Assist me in scouting, draft interviews, trades, and submitting lines in my absence. No experience is required to apply! Hey everyone! We had one of the craziest seasons I've ever had as the GM for this amazing franchise, and it's only my 2nd. It's my proudest roster yet and I challenge future Marauders to do better! I present to you the (regular) Season 90 Miami Marauders award winners: Yun Chiang Award (Most Goals) Sebastian Thunder @Matt thunder Thunder was an incredible teammate and playmaker for this season, leading the team in most goals at 38! His season record was 38 G and 68 A for 103 points. Igor Molotov Award (Most Assists) Lionel Collberg @Masu Chan Collberg was absolutely instrumental to Miami's success in both the regular season and playoffs! His season record was 25 G and 67 A for 92 points. Matty Fire Award (Best Two-Way Forward) Nico Belique @Syzygy Belique is a sensational two-way forward and made waves serving in both the 1st and 2nd lines. Belique played the entire season ending his record with 21 G, 42 A for 63 points, +3, 73 hits with only 6 PIMs, 41 shots blocked, 4 game winners, and 4 PPGs. Omi Aberg Award (Best Mid-Season Signing) Riley Martin @Smarch We only had a few waivers from mid-season to TDL and we were very lucky to have each of them play for us! However, of the few one has to stand out and that was Riley Martin. In just 12 games played he managed 8 goals and 7 assists for 15 points, a +4, and only 4 PIMs served. He also somehow managed to be our good luck charm in the playoffs. Chicken Wing Award (Best Defenseman) Lionel Collberg @Masu Chan This should be a no-brainer! Lionel Collberg was dominant in our games, carrying us most of the way in the standings. With a season record of 25 goals and 67 assists for 92 points, +17, and an astounding 198 shots blocked he definitely deserves this award! However, this is the last time the Chicken Wing Award will be handed out. From here on forward, the Best Defenseman award for the Miami Marauders will now be the Lionel Collberg Award! Congratulations and well deserved for an amazing player! Most Valuable Pirate (MVP) David Slezak @ShawnGlade We have some of the best players in the league represented by Miami this season, and of those was our goaltender David Slezak! He helped ensure 5 of our wins ended in a shutout with a 37-26-5 record, .906 SV%, and 2.52 GAA. I will extend this also to the playoffs where he was a corner piece to our puzzle of getting to game 7 in the Cup Finals! That concludes our team awards ceremony for Season 90! Congratulations to this season's award recipients and thank you for being a Marauder! Thanks everyone else for joining us in this ceremony, and good luck to everyone in the upcoming draft and season!

First of all thank you for the kind review! Second, yes I noticed this right as I posted this and was like noooo everything else was perfect! I could go in and fix it now, but...meh. Nothing too crazy. Edit: I changed my mind and removed it. Plus it looks a lot better now and I'm sure Tdan would appreciate it if they use it as their sig.

I don't know the number, but it's definitely not arbitrary. Could be $30, or $60. You could weigh the amount of weeks there are in a season vs the potential value to see if it makes sense on a $ per week view. As far as the VHL goes, this season was 5 weeks. So that's $6/$12 (depending on if you'd rather a $30/60) per week. Perhaps you could leave it at this for just the free week instead of a full free week, that way you'd still have to do more in order to max earn every week. This is where the log in, claim the update, and apply the TPE comes into play which is why I said this As far as "pay to win" I think it's more "pay to advance" because you can be at 1400 TPE and have a bad player. I'm not sure if every person out there is checking every VHL/E/M player's update page to see if they're just a clicker or putting in work to get more TPE..but I feel how people earn TPE is no one else's business as long as they're following the rules and the updaters are doing their job before approving It also makes me wonder how many first-gens would be interested in something like this to retain them.

OK BUT HE KINDA SPITTIN HERE Haha funny about WF players ponying up money to earn the WF, but the interesting-funny is why the VHL hasn't introduced a "season pass." I think your idea about 2x the dono is nice, but I think we can dive into this further. Actually trash the 2x idea completely. Keep the donation rewards as usual. However, we can separately introduce a "season pass" where you can pay an additional $15 (or whatever price point is decided, but I feel this is fair) and you get a free week (6 capped TPE) every week for the entire season. Upgrade to the $30 premium season pass to get a full free week for the entire season. For obvious reasons, the user needs to claim the update and apply the points every week as well. I think this would be a great alternative for those who aren't artistically inclined enough to make a graphic every week, have the time to write out a thoughtful 500+ word article, or have any time at all to invest in their player but would love to see their player thrive in the VHL scene. Plus, think of the additional recruitment opportunities the recruitment team could muster up to get more people interested.

It's OK, idk who you are either but that's just because the M commish are IA Jokes aside, it's definitely something I think about sometimes with a community I've been a part of for 10 years now (we started in TeamSpeak). It used to be like 10 of us and now there's ~10x that...and there are a lot of times I see a name in either text or voice chat that I'm like who tf is that? And it's not that I don't want to know who they are that I don't know them...the community has just expanded a lot and I'm not as active as I once was. Especially now that I have more of my attention in the VHL. I'll probably be where you are now here in a couple years, except approaching my 40s and making PF/WF players.
