    1. Feeling confident we've got a very strong squad top to bottom and a cracking goalie in net.
    2. Ate beans on toast, you know how we brits are.
    3. Eating beans on toast, it's the only logical thing to do.
    4. London of course, and on the other side of the bracket I imagine we will be facing Seattle.
    5. Solid 80% chance, I think we're the best team in EU conference so we've just got to show it now.
    6. Well, Calgary would be my choice but unfortunately they are not making the post season, so no one.

    1. Happy, definitely an improvement from last season I still think I could be doing a little better but I'll only be getting stronger over the course of this season!
    2. One of the best players it's no surprise he's up there, I'm surprised Triller isn't really!
    3. Definitely mine, the f*** simon gif always does the trick.
    4. I think Teno is definitely an important factor in London making the play-offs however, we also have a very strong offense and solid dmen core
    5. I have but not been able to get any of them properly active unfortunately.
    6. Most likely goalie. Have some experience in field hockey, ice hockey is too expensive to play in the UK unfortunately!

    1. I'm content with it, I was honestly expecting to be a little better than I am performing but can't be too upset am currently PPG and having a great season so far!
    2. I think face-offs they're my biggest weakness as a center though I do want to improve my scoring aswell!
    3. Most likely not I will remain a welfare earner, but doing a few other tasks aswell to top myself up so I'm earning at least 10 per week. Too busy with University to be investing a lot of time into making graphics and such.
    4. Honestly, nothing I've really enjoyed my career, maybe pushed to the majors one season sooner so I could have 5 full seasons in the VHL but nothing much, Ireally enjoyed playing in SDM and really enjoyed COL also.
    5. I mean probs Janser, awesome dude, I've spoken to him a bit before but not currently on any lineups together only really spoke to him a bit when I was back in Calgary as the AGM for a short while.
    6. It's gotta be at least 27.3 days.

    1. Really happy upgrading a few key attributes and my player should have a breakout seasons if all things go to plan!
    2. The bot is so scary sometimes I'm happy we've got a back up can't do us any harm!
    3. I'm participating in both of them they don't take up much time can be quite enjoyable so it's all just free TPE at the end of the day!
    4. I think that's a fantastic decision valuable member of the team and hope you continue on the backend of things even once you're retired
    5. I honestly don't particularly enjoy any of them, sometimes making graphics but it massively depends it does often feel like a chore, and really depends what else is going on at the time.

    1. of course! Love that 10 uncapped every season. Excited we've got a good roster this season lets see how things play out of us all!
    2. Probably more of the same, I'll likely be claiming welfare but I'll try to do more press conferences and trivia, and the job pay always helps
    3. Well I want to get my DF up to 90, so that firstly, but also if I am going to be playing in the middle I think it's quite important I improve my face offs.
    4. Quite happy! we lost a few guys so was unsure how things were going to look, next season will be brutal though seeing as our star goalie will be hanging up the skates.
    5. It's early to say but Jacob always finds the gems so hopefully we''ll be seeing them in the London locker room soon enough.

    3. practice his 2 way game, offence comes from defence!
    4. My choice of players would be Fradin, VLG or Keegan Gamble
    5. Honestly no idea we don't have many picks but I'm sure GM jacob will find a gem in the rough

Sjin reacted to Plate in Jordan Bennett: The Best Defenseman in the VHLE. An Argument.
This is not an article I plan on claiming. Jordan Bennett will finish his career in the VHLE. I wanted to weigh in on why I think Jordan Bennett gets the Jake Thunder Trophy.

First we have to talk about the candidates. And in my opinion, those would be Jordan Bennett (COL), Leif Reingaard (VAS) and Mina (BRA). Now interestingly enough both Reingaard and Mina were picked back to back in the S91 draft, and everyone knew they would pan out to be incredible defensemen in their position. Both of these players are going to be competing with each other throughout their careers in the VHL.

Here in the VHLE there is a third player we can't overlook. WHLE veteran Jordan Bennett. Now, I'm going to start with the case you can make against Bennett and why you would pick the other two options over him. First of all, for a very large portion of his career, he was inactive. So really had he not been inactive he would not have been in this position. And yet, even though Bennett has been in the VHLE for 7 seasons, in only one of those was he in the conversation for the Jake Thunder Trophy, which is this season.

So what did Jordan Bennett do this season better than the other options? In a race that is so close you'd be splitting hairs on individual stats?

He won the Renaissance Cup for the third time in a row.

Not only did Bennett win the Renaissance Cup for the third time in a row, but he also beat Reingaard in the finals to win that cup. And Mina? Well they performed well but it was on a team that did not make the playoffs. And great players on bad teams overperform their skill to certain extents.

Bennett is not an inactive andy anymore. He is very much a beloved player by the person that is managing him. And has been ever since he signed with Cologne in S89. Not only that but he is the blueline cornerstone of the dynasty that is the S89-S91 Cologne Express. And you can't have a Dynasty without pieces that make the puzzle fit.

Bennett more than deserves the Jake Thunder Trophy, off of his persistence, clutchness, and monumental contributions to the best team in VHLE history.

    1. Ivans NHL sims are awesome I love seeing how our team performs against NHL teams
    2. Justin Lion is insane, won handful of cups in the E and also one in the M with us as well where he was the play-off MVP
    3. Spartan is very helpful, not a fan of his abrupt rule changes though ;(
    4. Jacob is one of the greatest teachers I had the only reason I'm still in the league!
    5. I honestly never spoke to the Malmo GM but he's put together a fantastic team and looks like they're going to have a good season
    6. I don't know Josh all to well but happy with the consistency of the sims wish they were a bit earlier though

A unexpected tail from Sjin, he worked his way up though junior hockey slowly grinding out the opposition until eventually being given a chance to play for the prestiged San Diego Marlins who was under management by Jacob Carson at the time he gave Sjin an opportunity on a team that was underperforming, at the time little did he know that Sjin was going to become to face of the Franchise for seasons to come. Sjin played for the team for just 20 games amassing 27 points consisting of 6 goals and 21 assists. Soon came the draft where he would be drafted 51st overall to the Miami Marauders a team that had seen great success in the past, he played there for just 7 games where he didn't quite find his groove where he was only able to get 3 points in those games. After being under management of Carson and falling in love with the franchise for the short while he was there he demanded a trade out of Miami. Fortunately Jacob Carson and then GM nurx were able to figure out and agreement sending Sjin back to the San Diego Marlins where he felt most at home. During that season Sjin made great moves gaining 77 points in the remaining 65 games of the season consisting of 29 goals and 48 assists, this is where Sjin fell in love with the franchise and the league, at this point Sjin had decided he wanted to spend his entire career playing in the VHLM where he felt most comfortable and most at home. He went onto play for the franchise for another 4 seasons where he was able to get an incredible 467 points in 380 games consisting of 175 goals and 292 assists it was a very impressive resume. During this time he was Captain of the team where he lead the team in S86 to their first ever Founder's cup in franchise history the cup then eluded him in both S87 and S88 where he fell just short in gruelling series, despite being disheartened by recent team short comings Sjin was able to battle through and lead the San Diego Marlins to their second Founder's Cup during the S89 season where he had 9 goals and 8 assists for 17 points in just 15 games leading the league in play-off points, though it wasn't due to Sjin incredible offensive upside and two way game that won them the cup their goal tender at the time Clark really carried the team on his back with a 0.940SV% and 1.48GAA meaning that Sjin was never able to earn the most prestigious award in the VHLM the play-off MVP.

Sjin wanted to continue his career through the VHLM however the commissioners of the leagues had other plans and put a direct stop to his mission of becoming the greatest VHLM scorer of all time by limiting the number of seasons a player is able to contend in the league. This really discouraged Sjin and almost resulting in him tying up the skates and giving up the sport of hockey forever, when your life long mission your goal has been taken away from you when the finish line is so close in your sights it really takes a toll on a player and makes it really difficult to keep moving forward. Fortunately Sjin was able to bounce back he decided to take the decision in his stride and really worked on his player aiming to prove that he could make it in the big leagues despite his humble beginnings, training was tough and at times he wasn't sure he was going to make it but he powered through and Signed with the Vasteras Iron Eagles where he was immediately traded to the Cologne Express the greatest VHLE franchise in existence it was during his time here that he was able to prove himself amongst some of the best players in Europe. The VHLE has recently shrunk to just 6 teams from 8 so it would be much more competitive and juggernaut teams would emerge the first of which being the Vasteras Iron Eagles. During his time in Cologne he was able to shock the league by scoring 86 points in just 72 games consisting of 37 goals and 49 assists this all during the time that there was only 8 players that were over point per game in the league so an incredibly impressive stat line. This would propel him into the play-offs where finishing as the 4th seed they would face up against the previously mentioned juggernaughts the Vasteras Iron Eagles he alongside Captain Keegan Gamble were able to defeat this monstrous opponent in just 5 games proving how dominant they are in the sport, they are now onto the finals where it is all the play for and it is uncertain at this point who will reign as the Champions of the league going into the S91 season. However, Sjin is confident in his Cologne Express that they will be able to win back to back trophies proving they are the best team in the VHLE.

Next season Sjin will be moving onto the VHL where he will play for London United trying to prove himself as the best player in a new league it will be hard, there are many much more experienced players in the league, but with the determination of Sjin nothing is impossible and who knows perhaps he will be able to lead London United to another Continental Cup championship he is a born leader and a born winner, it's all he knows how to do. Sjin will spend his remaining seasons with the franchise trying to prove himself as the best player in the entire VHL but only time will tell it will all come down to the STHS gods and if they wish to bless Sjin throughout his career moving forward.

Sjin got a reaction from vincentlg2007 in Sjin a legend was born
