I've brought this up to at least one member who has access to the Board of Governors, but I don't really care. From now on, suggestions that I have are going into public threads. The award would work similarly to the VHL Rookie of the in that you lose VHLM rookie status when you play 20 games in the league. Further, players who received carryover would be ineligible, or we could set a limit at something. The idea behind the award is pretty clearly to give newer players another something in the VHLM that could keep them interested, as it's something they don't compete with the outrageously TPE'd players.

It happened because "What is wrong with having a fun/different name for a fake sim league" I certainly don't mind that attitude, but I highly doubt that it aligns with the current staffs beliefs. Because I'd say it goes hand in hand with the notion that teams should ever be allowed to choose to relocate.

Okay, I lied. It was actually the Screaming Seamen. From S19-S23, the VHLM had a team called the Screaming Seamen. Thank heavens they were wiped out by a Storm. (The joke is that Oslo was the Screaming Seamen, and now they are the Storm!)

We allowed the Screamin' Seamen; I see no reason to ever question any VHLM team decision.
