  1. I am happy that you are excited to be on the squad. Arce is a great GM and he wants to give players a great opportunity. Last season I joined the team via free agency in the middle of the season but luckily the team had only played 8 games at that point. Arce gave me a great chance and as the season went on I improved. We ended up winning the Founder's Cup and we were very happy. I am also glad that I was able to be drafted by the Marlins in the first round, 8th pick and San Diego's first pick of the VHLM Disposal Draft. So I am glad I can come back and play one more season in the M with the Marlins before going up to the E to play for S89's captain's team Cologne Express.
  2. 1. I dont like that Europe won, Canada should of won it. 2. I am the best addition to the squad. 3. Even though I am not on the roster for this season I think that you guys will still win. 4. I will be in San Diego in the M but I am hoping to do much better than last season. 5. I think they should of kept the rush and remove another team but also too soon, they should of said it will happen in a few seasons. 6. No because Fradin is too focused on making sure his player gets 25 hits a game.
  3. 1. I feel great repping the S89 Championship role, that was the start of an amazing journey. 2. Next is the VHLM draft and seeing where I go being a top 6 pick if not top 3 pick in the draft but hopefully I can end up in San Diego. 3. I feel great being drafted by D.C. and Sjin's Cologne Express. 4. I will miss San Diego alot, so many memories but hopefully I can play here again in S90. 5. Meeting all of these great people who supported me along the season and making some friends. 6. Yes, Sjin will play one year in the VHL and then retire. Thank you for a great season guys and maybe I will be on this wonderful team in S90
  4. I have better defensive abilities than some of the forwards on defence
  5. Bad roster since im not in it, and can you tell me how people qualified for it
  6. 1. We are feeling great, the season ended in a great way. 2. It is close between Clark and Sjin but I am going to have to choose Clark. 3. Me! Anyways idk there were a lot of underrated players on our squad in the playoffs and all season. 4. Losing game 1 against Ottawa since I feel if we didn't lose to them we would of gone a bit to cocky. 5. In the off season I am going to have to make the tough decision on whether I want to play in the E or stay in the M. 6. Well since some players are underage I think there should be some non alcoholic things in the mix with the alcoholic stuff.
  7. The Marlins won the Founder's Cup in five games ending the S89 VHLM season as we only lost 3 total playoff games
  8. San Diego’s Season Review Eric White Jr. The San Diego Marlins are one win away from winning the S89 Founders Cup, it has been a great season and there is only one way to finish it off and that is to beat the Philadelphia Reapers for the Founders Cup. So I am going to go through the path it took to get to this point in the season. The season started off with a solid start having a win and an OT loss giving them three points in the first day. The first ten games it wasn’t showing a lot of hope but it was still early and they had a 5-4-1 record but then it was getting much better because after 25 total games the Marlins were looking much better having a 15-7-3 record. The halfway point to the season has just happened and the marlins are looking really good with a record of 24-8-4 which is 52 points. At this point the team was really good and we were getting wins after wins after wins and the team and Arce the wonderful GM of the team found the way to win the games at hand. The team had so much confidence and we were ready from the next half of the season ahead. The Marlins are 50 games into the season and are at the top of their conference so with a record of 32-14-4 we are looking forward to a strong end of the season and the playoffs. The marlins finished the season off second in their conference, third overall with a record of 49-16-7 obtaining 105 points and Brad Marchand had 99 points in 72 games leading our team in scoring and don't forget about Clark who had 49 wins a .910 save percentage and a 2.22 Goals against average but also had 6 shutouts. The playoffs have been great so let's talk about that. In the first round the San Diego Marlins were taking on the Halifax 21st, the series was fun but the Marlins prevailed in a five game series winning 4-1, the second round was also pretty easy and the second round ended so fast the our five game series was the longest series in that round but we beat the Ottawa Lynx 4-1 in the series. The Marlins had high hopes for this finals round but going against the Philadelphia Reapers who destroyed the regular season and have never lost in the finals did mean that this would be a very close and exciting series. The first game was extremely close but Clark posted a shutout in a 1-0 victory, the second game was a different story as the Reapers took the second game with the score of 3-2. Games 3 and 4 we had home ice advantage and we took advantage as in game 3 we won 2-1 in overtime to take a 2-1 series lead, and a very close game 4 that took a double overtime to find a winner the Marlins won 3-2 with a great Sjin Game winning goal to give us a 3-1 series lead and putting the Reapers on the brink of elimination. Clark has been great through four games in the finals as he has 105 saves in the finals but through the entirety of the playoffs Clark has had a .938 save percentage and a 1.52 goals against average and also has 2 shutouts. Sjin has led the team in points so far in the playoffs with 9 goals and 8 assists for 17 points in 14 games. The team is excited and happy with what we have accomplished so far and now we are only one game away from winning the 2nd Founder’s Cup in Marlins history.
  9. My VHLM Season Eric White Jr. The season is coming to a wrap today! It has been a great season and I can’t wait to see what happens in the future of my career. The VHLM is a great place, you meet new people and a ton of helpful people for anyone who is new to the league. The VHLM is also a great place to figure out what type of build you are going to be in the future and what you have to improve on. For me it was a great place to learn that you should not be focusing on making your build be balanced. When I first made my player I was making sure that when I used my tpe i had everything at the same number or close to. As I went on throughout the season I found the type of build that I want to use which is what I am going to do now. This season was fun and I may have had a very rough start to the season but I picked up the pace after the halfway point of the season and have been doing well ever since. I missed 8 games of the season since I had yet to join the league but in my 62 games played so far I have accomplished 11 goals and 20 assists so I would be averaging 0.5 points per game, and I have an 11.5 shot percentage. Now I did accomplish my goals of getting 10 goals and 20 assists but I feel like now would be a great time to thank Sjin, Arce, the rest of the Marlins locker room and some people in the rest of the VHL for helping me get my player to where it is today. The playoffs will be interesting to see what goes on but it will also be a different play style than what I am used to. I am used to the regular season play style where sometimes it is fast paced and sometimes it is a slow game, where as I am expecting it to be all fast paced. I don’t know how the playoffs work other than the fact that 8 teams make the playoffs and there can only be one winner in the end. I am going to give you my honest predictions on what team is going to win the Founders Cup. Now if I was being biased I would say that the San Diego Marlins would win the Founders Cup but if I am not biased then the obvious answer would be to say that the Philadelphia Reapers would win the Founders Cup but I think that either the Houston Bulls or the Mississauga Hounds would win the Founders Cup if I wasn’t biased. I would love to see a great Cinderella story for a big underdog so if that happens I would love to see the Ottawa Lynx to be that underdog. Well this season was great can’t wait for the VHL draft and can’t wait to see what happens in the playoffs and the off-season tournaments. I wrote this before the last games were played.
  10. 1. I fell great about how the team performed looking forward to a good playoff run. 2. My player met my expectations today actually. 3. Not much except people doing the press conference, a pt, trivia and training. 4. The VHL has been great! 5. My earning habits are great so I can't wait to improve even more. 6. NO, I am a leaf fan and superstions NEVER go well.
  11. 1. Wait the Trade Deadline passed? 2. My expectations are to get to 10 goals and 30 points. 3. The Maskot's name would be Marv. 4. No I have not. 5. YES @Fradin99 Should receive all the blame of our future loses because of his attitude. 6. Well idk my linemates but I am fine with where I am in the lines and I would like to play with Sjin a bit if im not already.
  12. 1. Arce should give extra pay to the AGM and give 1 week pay from our AAGM Fradin, oh and should write a 1000 word apologie. 2. I feel great like we could win it with tones of improvement that will be coming. 3. I would like to see some more defensive improvements from the squad since we have the goal scoring now we need more defensive play. (Also I would like to see someone make me a sig) 4. I thought it was great, I had some great Ideas and a great catching line. 5. Me! Im just kidding I don't really know but I guess lets go with Sjin. 6. Yes we should make a shrine for the amazing goalie Clark.
  13. Eric White Jr’s Scouting Report VHLM Career Man the VHLM is insane to play in and even though I am still in the middle of my VHLM season I should have this scouting report so that the VHL and VHLE General Managers can know why they should or shouldn’t draft me. Eric White Jr is a LW who can also play center if you really need me to as the San Diego General Manager Arce has been playing me as a center and I have been doing well with it as I have a 55% success rate (I think, don’t quote me on this statement). With me improving by at least 8 tpe a week you can expect a lot of improvement. Now you really want to know what my Pro’s, Middle’s (Neutral’s) and Negatives are, so I will start by telling you my Pro’s. My pro’s consist of Passing, Skating and my defensive play. So far in my 30 games played I have gone 8 assists, now it may not seem like a lot but my defensive play is what shocks some of the other teams since I am playing very defensive which has helped the San Diego Marlins as we have been doing a great job winning, having my good defense is great thing to have since I am a forward so most teams would expect me to be a more offensive player then what I really am so I would really be classified as a 2-way-forward, also I have decent physical play right now with 42 hits in 30 games so I am able to play the body when we are in the defensive or offensive zone. I have some decent skating ability but as time goes on it will get better than it is right now. I don’t have many things that are in the middle but one is my face-off winning ability. There are some games that I have exceptional games inside the dot but other games I have struggles in the dot. Now there will always be those ups and downs when taking face-offs which is why it isn’t a pro or a con. My con is goal scoring. I am not the type of player to go on the ice and put the puck inside the back of the net, as I said in my pro’s I am the type of player to help make the goals happen, so if you are needing a goal scorer I can help a bit by passing the puck to create the scoring chance. Arce, my GM from the San Diego Marlins said, “Your player works very hard, plays a really good two-way game. Very involved in the defensive zone, and throws around the body a lot which has resulted in offensive chances for our team”. This is my scouting report I hope this helps you scout me!
  14. Commissioner for a Day Eric White Jr What a way to join the league, Eric White Jr plays 26 games in the VHLM then becomes the commissioner of the VHL, VHLE and VHLM. The VHL is doing great but I think going into the next season we need some new teams to be exact four new teams. In the North American Conference the new teams will be the Orlando Alligators and the Colorado Mountains, and in the European Conference it will be the Bayern München Tigers (but in North America the people would call them the Munich Tigers) and the Paris Baguettes. Adding four new teams is great but we will split each conference into 2 divisions so in the North American Conference there would be an Easter Division and a Western Division, and in the European Conference there would be a Western and Eastern Division. In the Western Division for the NA Conference there would be Colorado, LA, Seattle, Calgary and Vancouver, in the Eastern Conference there would be Toronto, Chicago, Orlando, D.C. and New York. In the European Conference the West division would consist of London, Bayern München, Paris, Davos and Malmö. In the Eastern Division there would be Helsinki, Warsaw, Riga, Prague and Moscow. This wouldn’t change how the games were played though it would just mean that the playoffs are organized differently, where the top four from each division would make the postseason and the left side of the bracket would be NA Conference and the right side would be the European Conference. Now the top half of both sides will be the eastern division and the bottom half would be the western division. Enough of the VHL, the VHLE would stay the same but in the VHLM some stuff would change. The VHLM also need some new teams but they really need two new Canadian teams since there are only 4 Canadian teams compared to the six American teams. The new team in the Western conference would be the Yukon Polar Bears and in the Eastern conference the new team would be the Montreal Historiques. The playoffs would stay the same where eight teams make the postseason but instead of two teams not making it four teams wouldn’t make it. No worries, I have plans if Yukon doesn’t work out as a good city to have a VHLM team, if needed they can go to Alaska and become the Alaska Polar Bears. Okay maybe a small change will happen to the VHLE as in the VHLE and the VHLM would have new rules for games. If the game is tied after 3 periods of hockey they would go into a 10 minute 4v4 overtime and if there is no score after OT then it will be classified as a tie, so no more shootouts! The point system would be 2 points for a win in regulation and OT, 1 point if you lose in OT, 1 point if the game ends in a tie and 0 points if you lose in regulation. Playoffs will still be a 5v5 20 minute overtime periods until someone scores in all leagues. A lot would change in the one day of me being the Commissioner for all leagues but I think that these changes would improve all leagues (VHL, VHLE, VHLM).
  15. Should I have one for light mode and 1 for dark mode users
  16. Day in the Life Playing in the VHLM Eric White Jr Playing the VHLM can be challenging since you have to train for the VHL and do other things to still enjoy life. So I will be telling you about my day in the life of Playing in the VHLM. My day starts with a morning jog in beautiful San Diego, California. The morning jog is a 1 hour jog so I can start the day with a good exercise, now before I do my jog I make sure to stretch so I don’t get injured. By the time I get home I will be able to eat as my roommate has made breakfast for the two of us. After I eat I make sure I shower so that I can chill at home and do some school work. Even though you are doing a lot of hockey in the VHLM you still have to do school work as you are still technically in school until you play your first game in the VHL. After I do school I go to the gym to finish off my morning. Monday and Wednesday I do upper body, Tuesday and Thursday I do lower Body and then Saturday and Sunday is Agility and then whatever else I feel like I should do that day, but normally Saturday is upper body and Sunday is lower body. After you workout you have to get food or liquids into your body so I will normally have lunch after I get home from the gym. I would then have a bath to relax my muscles before I go to the arena to play and since it is a home game today I don’t have to travel very far to get to the arena. It is important for me to relax my muscles before a game so that when I get to the arena I can stretch without my muscles hurting a lot before the game. It is time to relax before I go to the arena so I either watch T.V. or play video games to help my mind escape the other thoughts that I have which are mainly school. My go to video game is NHL 23 before a game to start getting into the hockey mindset. When I get to the arena I walk around and get used to the environment I am in then I will go and get food for my pre-game meal. My pre-game meal will normally be a chicken sandwich from Chick-fil-a and then waffle fries and water. When I’m done and I’m back at the arena I walk around again and then start stretching. A few of the guys and I start to play keep up with a soccer ball to get some more chemistry, coordination, and then some fun during our pre-game warm-up. We then get ready to go onto the ice for the warm up on the ice, I enjoy attempting to talk to the fans and give a few pucks to some fans. Then it is a small break then game time. It is always fun to play games with our fans at home as in San Diego the fans have lots of fun with the game which lets us know that we have great supporters. When the game is over I stay a bit after as I take one more lap around the arena then head home. Well that is my day in my life on the day of a home game playing for the San Diego Marlins. My day is different when we are playing an away game.
