Day 597 of off-season, I’m hungry and cold. I hope my wife and kids know I love them.. I might die before I see another sim. With that being said, we did get a bug off-season event complete in the VHL Draft. We were able to select Ryan Mantzz @Rkhockey9 6th Overall and Tina Hughes @tinafrombobsburgers at 8th Overall. I’m super thrilled to have them join the Americans for the next generation of our team. I’m planning a full scale Organizational Outlook Media Spot in the next week, so I’ll be more in depth then - but I think NY is set up pretty nicely for the future! World Juniors have been going this weekend. Pretty fun to see all the Americans on Team USA. My player Silvia and Alex Versti @VOID Stiles also on the team. We started out slow but looking better in the last sim! Im on my last day of vacation… I fly back home tomorrow. Been a fun and relaxing week but im excited to get back home to see the kids. I’m only back to work for four days though and then we go to Niagara Galls for the weekend

How the hell am I on like my third bullets, and I’m still in off season. This has been forever. We made a couple roster moves so I guess there’s that to talk about, and my VHLM team is prepping to compete… The one roster move we have made was a hockey trade with the Vancouver Wolves. We get back Guntis Gavilrovs while sending off forward Wayne Gretzky. It’s a shame because I drafted mubbles with the intention that he would be a part of the Americans for a while, but he was looking for a change of scenery. We get back @Girts who is a great guy - I had his player when is was VHLM GM in Houston and I believe I played with his first player as well. Overall I’m happy with the trade - I think this gives us a different look. in Mexico City we are prepping to draft third overall. My goalie will be maxed out at 400 TPE to start the season. GM @VattghernCZ has been very patient with this team - excited to see what he does with this group. I’m currently at a hotel beside Pearson Airport, as we fly out to Dominican tomorrow morning. I am actually thrill to get to draft on the beach haha. Hopefully we do like an afternoon draft. I’ll be blacked out, so GL to the draftees going at pick 6 and 8!!

Well, it’s the hardest bullets to do for every season.. it’s like week three of being eliminated from playoffs and it’s been a long one. Just the wait is brutal this time of year. Punishments came down for breaking the Backup Games rule. While it didn’t amount to much in terms of Lotto Results, the Commishes have said this will not be tolerated going forward. Tbh pretty simple rule, Game shouldn’t be pushing back on the punishments, just take your medicine. We ended up in the 6th pick as we were anticipating. I’m very happy to be picking 6th and 8th this year! It’s been snowing all week. I can’t wait to be out of the country in a week when we head out to the Dominican! Wondering if we will be in the middle of the off-season. Would be pretty awesome to be doing the draft on the beach 20 drinks deep!

It’s been a week since NY has been eliminated from playoffs. I have some serious FOMO going on right now. I feel like this one will be hard to get over. These playoffs have been great too with a number of the series’ going seven games. Very unpredictable outcomes. IMO one of the best times for the league - just disappointing we aren’t part of it. On the bright side we have two picks inside the top 8 in a draft that has 10 really nice prospects. I’ll probably keep those picks to build around Pepe, however I’ll likely be running the roster for a final time next season. There are a lot of teams selling next season, so not only would I get nothing for my assets, but I should be able to fill my roster out without spending a first. We’ve been responsible with our trades, where I don’t think we will be subject to a @Spartan MS about why we didn’t sell When we should have. Super Bowl was something. I won a couple bets on the anthem and the opening kickoff, but the prop bets fell short. Now we watch the Leafs disappoint us for our annual gut punch.
