Could DeGrath win Top Goalie? Let me first start off by saying, I'm extremely bitter that a goalie I've put 925 TPE into is literally just sitting on a tanking team. After signing a lifetime contract with ADV and the Stockholm Vikings, I thought my first ever goalie would at least get to win a cup in his career. While he has had multiple Founder's Cups and now 3x Gold Medals for Canada, he is a longshot to ever get a cup - which is a shame. Despite the fact that he is buried on a team rebuilding, I hope he can still be considered for top goalie. In my opinion, his numbers hold up very well. His team statline is obviously not good, with Wins and Goals Against being pretty harsh. However, he leads the league in Save Percentage with .935. Apollo Skye, the next goalie with a .931 Save Percentage made almost 1000 less saves than DeGrath. In a year where there isn't a clear cut winner for goalie of the year, perhaps voters might look at the circumstance and realize that the 2x Top Goalie Winner, Rhett DeGrath had one of his best individual seasons while playing on a barren team.

For what it's worth I thought your suggestions 1-5 were all really good points.. Hopefully we can maybe switch focus back to that.. (1 and 2 more specifically)

I agree.. Maybe start a sub-forum just for review threads. The reviewers can just post in there and "mention" the sig make and quote the sig, that way we can see all the reviews at once. Sould be a better tool than the "Grader Logs"

Let me say two things: 1. Magazine Editor has always been about putting the magazine together, as well as proof-reading. With that being said, there were only a few writers in the 150+ editions I did that actually needed corrections. I can safely say @Banackock and @ADV were always easy to edit. 2. Magazine Editor is an underappreciated job.

Just make it as simple as possible, keep the same GM Player rules and apply to both players. So if a team acquired a player via GM Rule they would need to lose that player before the new GM created another player for that team via GM Rule. In the case where a new GM from another team joins (assuming they only have one player) then you would need to trade for their player, but not necessarily both of the GM players. In that instance you could package both GM players for the current one with equal value, or you could do a 1 for 1, and shop the second GM player somewhere else. The team would be losing 2 GM players, but then would also be gaining 2. The complication would come if the old GM had one and the new GM had two.. Basically you could just set a rule that the GM has to pay fair value for both players.. Pretty simple, just harder to describe without using specific players or situation.

Correct. Logically a GM would probably recreate if they were competing anyways so they would basically be getting two high end prospects in exchange for their retiring GM players.

Since PP2 I’ve been in 4 LRs and there’s no talks of confidential specifics in there at all. Mind you, I don’t think there was much before, but I remember back in the day @Higgins would share draft targets and upcoming trades before they were public in the HEL LR. LR confidentiality was a known sacrifice when PP2 was implemented - LRs are just not that important, we should be focused on how to make the public forums more enjoyable, not hidden ones.
