  1. Yeah I can't judge that since i didn't play the beta but I saw a let's play of two guys playing the beta who seemed to struggle with the handling of their car quite a bit while I haven't experienced any of that. Maybe they just sucked, but I'd say it's at least possible that the developers managed to get some improvements in last minute.
  2. You see what happens when we don't have you on?
  3. I saw a couple of reviews criticize the driving mechanics so I guess there's gotta be something to it, but maybe its's my racing game noobness but they don't bother me at all, I actually think that the handling for most cars works really well. Have you played the final version or only previews, maybe they got to improve that aspect a bit after the beta?
  4. That's only true for Thomassen
  5. Yeah we have some sound issues it seems, AH is probably gonna re-upload tonight!
  6. I loved that game too an 100%'ed it as well, rarely do that with any game but this one had just the right amount of content to go all completionist on it, and obviously the gameplay was hella fun too I'm really digging The Crew right now btw, I know that Sandro wasn't a fan of the preview versions at all but I really like it so far!

  11. I don't think claiming double for recruitment drives is possible anymore
  12. So I assume my answer wasn't good enough

  16. An historic streak has come to an end. For 250 minutes and 23 seconds, Cologne netminder COL G had not given up a goal but then it finally happened against the HC Davos Dynamo. The Cologne Express still ended up winning the game 5-1 in rather dominant fashion, but at 9:36 of the second period it was rookie Gifford Shock who deflected a Kurtis Hunter shot for the lone Davos goal, the goal that snapped one of the most impressive shutout streaks in recent history. Before that goal, COL G had racked up three shutouts in a row, two against the Dynamo this season and one against Seattle last year. He had also added another period in the recent game against Davos and a little more than two periods against the Bears late in Season 40, which was the last game before the streak where he had given up a goal when Lauris Prikulis beat him at 19:13 in period one. 250 minutes, or in other words more than four games without giving up a goal isn't just a franchise record, it also makes the decision of the Express coaching staff to give Blaine Olynick the majority of the starts even more questionable.
  17. Damn it, another one of these bots... Just don't do anything he tells you and you should be fine!

  21. The 40th VHL-season is in the books and while the Riga Reign came out of it victorious, we have also seen the careers of the last remaining players from the S33 draft class come to an end. Great franchise caliber players like Odin Tordahl, Wesley Kellinger or Niklas Lindberg as well as quieter but still very successful guys such as the Olsen brothers, Thomas Landry or Willie Weber have decided to hang 'em up. Others like Tomas Valiq, Keiji Toriyama, Sebastian Ball Jr. or David Collier didn't even play the full eight years and therefore were already retired last season, yet still had good VHL careers. With all these players gone from the big show, now is the time to start looking back... Who of these guys do you think had the best overall career, who exceed expectations and who might have been a big of a disappointment, considering where he was drafted at? Please leave your opinions here, i would actually like to turn this into a bigger article or series of articles, but for that I would like your help: Could you send me your let's say Top-15, how you would rank the careers of the S33 players? I'll then compile a ranking from all your votes and try to get some write-ups up . You can find the original draft ranking and all players from this draft class here: http://www.vhlforum.com/index.php?/topic/692-s33-vhl-entry-draft/
