Queen Latifa Sets World Record Yesterday, history was made by one of the VHLM's finest, now that many people made their way up to the big leagues. Queen Latifa was spotted at a gay bar and was asked to eat as many hot dogs as he (or she in many eyes) could eat in 20 seconds. Queen Latifa was able to eat 20 hot dogs every 5 seconds which equates to about 80 hot dogs in the 20 seconds he was given. When asked how he was able to do it Latifa said this: "Well, it (the bundle of 20 hot dogs) was almost as big as the chew toy that my parents used to make me chew on when I was little, so I knew how to get it down quick. After that it was just my teeth chomping, just like they do when I eat the ice after games. When it was over, all I could do was throw up. All I'm saying it, I ball out all night and all day." The Hunt Recently, the GM of the Minot Gladiators, Edgar, was moved up to take leadership over the Toronto Legions in the VHL. A few applicants have been named, but one of the few active members of the Gladiators, Queen Latifa, wants to aid the league in who to hire. Here are a few of the people that Latifa may pick if they apply. 5. Green Remy Lebeau's agent, Green, has known Latifa's agent, elliotegg, in many leagues. They often have players competing against each other and have never had them play together. Latifa has stated multiple times that he has a lot of respect for Green and has also said he would be interested in bringing him to Minot. It is very unlikely that Green ends up taking the job, or even applying, but Latifa sure wouldn't mind it if he did. 4. 701 Urijah Winnifield of the SHL, Vincent Valiant of the SBA, and Triton Jackson of the VHL have all have ties with the player agent known as 701. 701 was one of the first agents to contact Queen Latifa, so he has a lot of respect for the man who now represents a different prestigious player in the VHLM. Although 701 has gone inactive, the Queen of Minot thinks that he could be very helpful in rebuilding the franchise if he returned. With that being said, he will likely not get the job. 3. FueledByRamen FueledByRamen has a player on the Toronto Legion, the team that owns the rights to Queen Latifa. FueledByRamen, or FBR, and the Minot RW have been acquaintances for awhile and have become closer since Elliotegg's player set foot on the Toronto training grounds. FBR has shown many great leadership characteristics in numerous leagues, so it is well believed that he can rebuild a VHLM team and turn them from the inactive bottom-feeders into the future champions of the VHLM. 2. Da Trifecta The manager of Davey Jones, Da Trifecta, is pretty well-known on the sim league landscape. He has been banned from a league or two, but has shown great maturity and improvement in attitude over the past few months. Latifa personally believes that he can manage a team and do a very good job of turning it from a pretender into a contender. Although Da Trifecta and Queen Latifa have had their differences in the past, the future star winger believes that the two-sided Da Trifecta could be a good fit to replace Edgar in Minot. 1. BOOM BOOM is the man who is in charge of Odin Tordahl. Latifa has been in a few leagues with the player manager BOOM and loves the work ethic he puts in. He always gives everything he has to whatever he is working on, and that is something that people in Minot would very likely love about him. Tordahl has also been pretty successful, so a player like "The Queen" would love to end up playing under BOOM and learning all of the tricks and tools he has to make his players better.
