1. Thanksgiving. Definitely my favorite food, and generally I've always done small get-togethers that are focused on appreciation. I also freaking love cooking all of the dishes. 10/10 holiday in my household.

2. Not yet---we haven't even really gotten going yet. I think we had a wildly bad spate of luck losing on 8 shots against to Miami's bot goalie, lol, and we'll get the penalties under control a bit better. 

3. No yet, but I plan on it soon. I'm partial to Michigan, who just won the Big 10 championship as a Cinderella. They're getting hot at the right time!

4. I think it'll be Halifax over the season. They're strong across the board and look like a legit championship contender. 

5. What? We're only on false spring #2. We have several more before Winter V: The Snowpocalypse and Actually Summer 3 swing by, then finally followed by proper Spring (for five days). 

6. My pick for the Continental Cup is still NY. They're really strong across the board---offense, defense, and they of course only have Ws in goal. They haven't started off like the Dynamo but I think they're still too good to not go far.

My favorite non-Christmas Holiday is 100% Halloween, its fun to chow down on candy all night while giving it out to kids.

2. We are 5-4-1 through our first 10 games, are you happy with the way sims are going, or do you think there is room for improvement

I am happy where we are, but we definitely have to be better. My personal play is good, amazing GAA, but my S% is not at what I want it to be.

3. Have you made a March Madness bracket this year? If so, who do you have as a potential Cinderella story this year?

I haven't. I don't know anything about Basketball haha.

4. Which team do you think will be our biggest rival throughout the season?

I can't speak for the rest of my team, but any time we play the Marlins or the Hounds I try just a bit harder to out-goalie the other net minder.

5. Spring is just around the corner, are you excited for winter to finally be over?

No, not at all since my real hockey season is over, my last too.

6. Who is your early prediction to win the Continental Cup?

I haven't been following the VHL much haha, but I did pick HC Davos Dynamo in my predictions.

2. Definitely room for improvement. I need to get my scoring up.

3. I haven’t and tbh idk who I should cheer for. Would love to hear who you think it should be.

4. Halifax. I don’t know anything about the teams anymore. So I’m going to just guess Halifax as they’re a goated roster.

5. Yeah I’m ready for summer and this brings me closer to that

1. Definitely Easter, gives off similar energy to Christmas.

2. There was definitely room for improvement, but we kicked it into another gear this week.

3. I thought UCONN was gonna go for a run this year, although I have Duke winning it all.

4. I think the Kings are gonna be our rivals due to us being in the same division, and very close in skill level.

Everybody talks about this, and by definition, yes, but in my mind, no, because it just makes it less appealing thinking of it as a sandwich.

3. What is your player’s pre-game ritual to get themselves hyped for a game?

Bart comes nearly 3 hours early to the game, and just sits in his stall watching replays of games from the VHL and VHLM the previous night.

4. Do you play a lot of video games? If so, what’s one that you’ve been playing a lot of recently?

I downloaded Rainbow Six Siege over a week ago, and I haven't been able to put it down. Over 2 days on it already.

5. We are currently 2nd place in the standings behind Philadelphia, do you think we’ll be able to overtake them sooner rather than later?

100%, because we will be the best team in the league by the end of the regular season, and the playoffs.

6.  What is the best looking professional sports stadium in your opinion?

Hockey Arena 100%, and easily the Bell Center in Montreal.

1. We're definitely never going to lose again. 

2. Absolutely not. Hot dogs don't have the requisite symmetry of the sandwich group. Hot dogs are cylindrical, and sandwiches need a sandwich axis to be valid. By this definition, hamburgers are sandwiches, but meatball subs are not. Also see https://cuberule.com/

3. Pylons is a gentle giant. He wants to sit in a corner and vibe to some classical music before hitting the ice. Some Bach keyboard concertos are good. 

4. Yeah, I play games. I've been playing some Hades II which is a fun roguelike, as well as Out of the Park Baseball 26.

5. Just wrote a VHL.com article about this. I strongly believe we'll overtake them as we have the TPE to back it up.

1. Well to my knowledge we haven't since then, so I don't see any reason why not!
2. Absolutely not. Hot dogs are eating with one piece of bread and are held with the meat on top. If you wanted to break the bun into two pieces and eat it like a true sandwich you may, but that is not a hot dog.

3. My player puts on some headphones and listens to some Freddie Gibbs.

1. Heck yeah I'm going to complete a theme week PT! My render is Zdeno Chara, who has some excellently bloody pictures out in the cosmos. Gonna cook this week, can't wait.

2. Let's Go Mets! Yeah, I'm a big Mets fan and already can't get enough of the Soto Shuffle (after hating it for years). Used to be a brutal team to root for but with the new ownership things finally look bright! We had a great season last year with a deep playoff run so here's to making some noise again!

3. If Bart keeps standing on his head and the defense blocks shots, we can beat anybody. We certainly have a bone to pick with Philly and should return the favor of their win a couple weeks ago. 

4. Good question—to be honest, I'm not sure. I always go back to watching the Lord of the Rings trilogy, but if we're talking watching a movie with my kids, I have to mention Ratatouille. As a classic SciFi action movie, I'll also take The Matrix.

5. Heck yeah we do. We're just getting started. We're straight outta the the Prohibition Era: no shots allowed

6. Pylons is a gentle giant off the ice. If anything he'd want to have a deal with a charity, not a product. So I'd say he'd want to work with a youth mental health charity.

I don’t follow baseball whatsoever, but I have been to some live Blue Jays games and watched a few. I don’t even know who players there current day though.

As usual, we will win. Bart has been on a heater and doesn’t plan on slowing down now.

2. I dont watch the MLB at all, but most people where im from either cheer for the Yankees, Mets, or Blue Jays.

2. I guess the Blue Jays since I'm Canadian, heard they just re-signed the one guy so that's cool I guess, think they suck otherwise from what I've heard.

1. We are officially first place in the standings, by a good margin too, do you think we can hang onto this lead for the rest of the season and win the Prime Minister’s Cup?

2. The NCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship is tonight, are you watching?

3. Season 100 is getting closer and closer, with the draft class having its first players created this week, are you excited for this huge milestone in VHL history?

4. What was your favorite game to play on the recess yard at school? (Tag, Duck Duck Goose etc)

5. We have a lot of new faces joining the team this week, is there anyone your particularly excited to play with?

6.  Where is the best place you have travelled to for vacation?

1) Best minor league roster in the history of the VHL it is all but certain.

2) Not watching NCAA tonight, the only sport is NFL.

3) As someone who was around at the beginning and the league predating the VHL I can't believe it's still going this strong with many expansions.

4) Always football before school, during breaks, and after school good ole American tackle football.  Used to break my glasses all the time.

5) There's a brand-new oak bench I look especially forward to sitting on it for the rest of the season.

1. I think we will be able to hang on to this lead for sure. We just had an influx of S100 creates today which will even improve our team over our previous bot lines. We're not just good right now, we're scary good. Gotta keep updating and putting in the TPE but you can't ask more from a regular season performance so far.

2. Kinda, though I haven't watched as much this year as in prior years. I did have Houston winning it all in my bracket (which was not a popular pick) so I mean, here's to hoping!

3. This is my first create and I'm even just excited for S99, no less S100. Of course for any sim league to survive so long there has to be broad engagement, and that folks are already turning out to create for S100 is definitely pretty cool. I'm looking forward to playing alongside those creates in that season, definitely.

4. I always liked playing handball (not Euro-style, though I like that too), which for us was with a kickball-style ball. 

5. Yeah---we have some experienced users that just recreated, which is definitely exciting. I'm not sure I know anyone well enough to say I'm super excited, but I did see that dil has like 6 cups to their players so that's pretty sick. 

6. New Zealand, without a doubt. Beautiful country, even better people. I loved just being outdoors the whole time while there.

For the Week Ending April 13th, here are your questions!

 

1. We are officially first place in the standings, by a good margin too, do you think we can hang onto this lead for the rest of the season and win the Prime Minister’s Cup?

We are exactly where we deserve to be, we deserve the Prime Minister's Cup, along with the Founders cup too!

2. The NCAA Men’s Basketball National Championship is tonight, are you watching?

Not at all. I have no interest in basketball, I have no idea who is even playing.

3. Season 100 is getting closer and closer, with the draft class having its first players created this week, are you excited for this huge milestone in VHL history?

I have only been here for a bit, but its amazing! Would be cool to recreate as a S100, but Bart is too good. 

4. What was your favorite game to play on the recess yard at school? (Tag, Duck Duck Goose etc)

Infection. 1 person it, every time your tagged you are it as well.

5. We have a lot of new faces joining the team this week, is there anyone your particularly excited to play with?

I haven't overly been watching our trades, Bart welcomes everybody with open arms to help win that cup.

6.  Where is the best place you have travelled to for vacation?

I have actually never left Canada, but I went for a Vacation to Ontario, to Canada's Wonderland. That was a blast.
