10-Best-and-Worst-Countries-for-Saving-Money-3.jpg?w=1000

- It's been a relaxing offseason thus far for D.C. Dragons captain Tui Sova.  Coming off a lacklustre playoff appearance, the Dragons have taken time to regain focus and train hard in preparation for next season.  Recently, Sova has reworked some of his skillset to go full on offensive defenseman, fine tuning passing and puck control, while lowering the physical aspect of his game.  With the way the team is built, this seemed like the most sensible direction when taking chemistry into consideration.

- Dragons GM @Enoramamade a massive splash this offseason by acquiring power forward Duncan Idaho @OrbitingDeath .  This acquisition adds more skill and physicality upfront, and vastly improves the forward core.  The team is striving to help Idaho make one final push for a cup before hanging up the skates.

- Goaltender Bubbles Utonium @fishyis coming off a stellar rookie season where they posted a 0.916 save percentage.  The expectation is that with a full season of VHL experience now under their belt, it won't be long until Utonium is considered one of the top goalies in the league.

- Rookie forward Ronan Lavelle @Arceis in a position to have a much better sophomore season than his rookie season, and is likely to be a top pick to win the Dustn Funk (no pressure 😉).

- Two prospects have been called up to the big club, dman Baxter Arcanum @ctotsand forward Daniel Clarke @Danzo.  Both are key young pieces to add depth to a Dragons team that is going to need it if they look to make a deep run.

- Along with Sova, the Dragons core consisting of Poopy Peepants @JardyB10, Ryan Vidot @Enorama, Taylor Mourning @scoop, and Corey Kitson @Nykonaxremains in tact.  Fans hope to see a more mature and experienced team iced this off-season, there is lots of hype in D.C. for Season 84!

I love this articles perspective, written by the team captain looking at a failed season but still expressing gratitude and hope.  It is great to see the writer stay in context and the picture adds to the feel of the article.  Great job Tui Sova in acknowledging your team and the work they did in S83.  Good luck in S84.  This article deserves a 9/10, a couple grammatical issues but got the point across.  And who of us doesn't commit a few grammatical issues now and then.
