It is now time for us to move on to the games. Some interesting storylines to watch as we go into these games are as follows.

1. The top scorer of the league Tullemore Dew is looking to add more points to his belt in these unofficial games as he plays for the Eastern Conference.

2. Mississauga looks to show their strength defensively as we expect the Eastern Conference to play the two Hounds D-men on the same pairing.

3. The Western Conference showing it can score goals as well. The Western Conference has been struggling offensively in terms of scoring leaders as all of the Western Conference teams have been more team focused rather than star focused. This could lead to struggles in scoring and the Western Conference All-Stars are hoping to show the league that they are just as capable of scoring goals as their Eastern Conference competitions.

4. Pope Francis shot-blocking. Pope Francis has a very comfortable lead in shot blocks, but Halifax also has more shot attempts against them than most teams in the league. That including the Pope plays more minutes than the average D-man leads to the possibility that he simply is getting in the way of shots at an average rate if he were playing for a team that was better defensively.

Without further delay, let's get right into the games!

The VHLM's Hardest Shot Competition took place recently, with five talented players showcasing their impressive shots. The competition had all players taking turns to shoot three shots, with the player hitting the puck hardest into the back of the net crowned the Hardest Shot Champion.

The contenders for the competition included Montgomery Burns from Saskatoon Wild, Sjin from the Mexico City Kings, Tullemore Dew from the Halifax 21st, Sergei Romanov from the Riga Reign, and Fradin McGryer from the Kelowna Knights. The competition was intense, with all players giving their best to shoot the puck as hard as possible.

After all the shots were taken, Montgomery Burns emerged as the winner, with his hardest shot hitting an impressive 90.83 MPH. This was a great achievement for Montgomery, who has been having a remarkable rookie season with the Saskatoon Wild. His hard work and dedication to the game have paid off, and it will be exciting to see what he brings to the ice in the upcoming games.

In a highly anticipated event, the Fastest Skater Competition took place, featuring some of the world's most talented skaters. The competition saw five competitors, including Dank Turtle, Otis Boudreaux Jr, Tord Yvel, Celise Pereira, and even Pope Francis himself, take to the ice to showcase their speed and agility. The rules were simple: each competitor would get one lap around the entire rink, and the player with the fastest time would be declared the winner.

After an intense round of skating, it was Pope Francis who emerged victorious, stunning the crowd with his impressive time of 8.76 seconds. While some may have been surprised by the Pope's win, his speed and skill were undeniable. Overall, the Fastest Skater Competition was an exciting and thrilling event that showcased the incredible talent and athleticism of the participants.
