The Vancouver Wolves would like to announce their teams` choice for Captains for the S92 season and released the following press release: After a long debate and understanding of public opinion surrounding the Vancouver Wolves organizations management of the Vancouver Wolves have decided against naming a Captain for the 92 season and rather run a rotating alternating captaincy through this season. We would like to keep all options open as the team continue through this rebuilding phrase and will take our time in announce a new captain in due course. It came as no surprise that Vancouver Wolves decided to announce that they were not going to announce a captain this season after rumors of management claiming that they currently like all the prospects and players on the roster. Vancouver management is also aware of the curse that is associated with captaincy and have even been rumored to state that they don`t want to have to trade anyone away or feel to pressure to trade anyone away. So, the move to rotating captaincy seems like a compromise to reduce the chances of the curse forcing Vancouver's management to trade a prospect that they really value. We will see if the curse hits again at a later date as the team still does have one Captain from last year’s team on the roster…..
