Only Two D Are A Point Per Game; Logan Laich Is One; Hell to Freeze Over

As we near the last 20 games of the season, currently only two defenders in the league sit at a point per game or better. Likely the best defender this year Jake Wylde is dominating well above a point per game pace and Logan Laich is sitting exactly at a point per game.

Laich, in his last season switching to defense to help the team out of a positional jam has never gotten a point per game or better in his career. If he finishes the season at or above a point per game the entire league would likely explode. One has to assume he will in fact finish at least one point behind that pace, and when he does all will be right with the world.

But dread is starting to creep up in those invested in the league. After all Laich finishing a point per game or better is one of the signs of a coming doom. A terror they say is so fierce that no man woman or child can avoid it's wrath. Other signs are things such as Glover and Braxton winning a Continental Cup, Edwin Encarnacion having a zero penalty minute season and member Boom creating dick threads instead of Boob threads in various team locker rooms.

What other horrors could await us if the worst is to happen? Laich said he's felt the pressure for teammates to attempt to finish below a point per game. Coaching staff have thought about benching him for several games if he gets to close to the mark.

1 point off. We have avoided the epic collapse of everything we hold sacred. Great job to all involved, the bomb almost imploding but stopping at the last second is a perfect way for Logan Laichs career to end.
